Support in improving our Power BI internal reporting solution both by optimizing the backend of the reporting, integrating required KPIs (incl. visuals) and establishing dynamic steering features, respecting the divisional organization and its heterogeneity. The scope of the project covered the full-fledged reporting solution from ETL processing, modelling and calculation to publishing a secured application to a specified audience.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Improved Power BI reporting with additional features and shorter loading times, resulting in strongly increased usage of the dashboards.

BI Samurai was able to meet our requirements in the given (although quite tight) timeline. They involved our internal specialists in all steps of the project and ensured a smooth transition of knowledge thanks to regular exchanges. When identifying unforeseen challenges, they were quick in proposing alternative solutions including their advantages and disadvantages.

We've also gained extensive knowledge in the fundamentals of data reporting and analysis, enabling us to create our own meaningful reports and dashboards. Whether it's tips and tricks for data modeling, PowerBI Service settings, or performance enhancement topics, BISamurai has always been able to assist us.

Theoretically agile with stand-up meetings and sprint-planning. Practically we used this meetings more to talk about obstacles and solutions. Sometimes we could deliver on time but sometimes not due to many uncertainties this is nothing unusual.
