BHP helped me find software engineering talent in Eastern Europe. They sourced, vetted, and presented top-tier candidates for my company, Aktiv Learning. I've dealt with a few Eastern European recruitment firms, but BHP was the best. They were extremely responsive and listened carefully to the needs of my company. BHP placed four candidates on Aktiv's team, and each of them were excellent.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My company, Aktiv Learning, decided that we needed to hire software engineers that were cheaper than those in the United States, but we also couldn't skimp on quality. We, therefore, decided to recruit in Eastern Europe, but we didn't have a partner to help us find candidates. BHP proved to be an excellent recruitment partner. They placed four engineers on our team, and each of them is fantastic.

BHP listened carefully to the technical, behavioral, and education requirements needed for our roles and was able to find great candidates extremely quickly. BHP was always very responsive and transparent, and I'd work with them again in a heartbeat.

We met with the BHP team whenever we needed a new role and whenever we needed to sync on the existing candidate pipeline. BHP was always extremely responsive and functioned with a high degree of urgency. They always delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed by the BHP team's tenacity. They never wavered on finding the right candidates, even if it was a difficult role to fill. BHP was always extremely attentive and understood the nuances of each role we needed to fill instead of sending over just anybody.

Are there any areas for improvement or something BHP International could have done differently?

There is very little BHP could improve on. They were our go-to partner for sourcing Eastern European engineering talent. If anything, communication in English wasn't perfect, but that's to be expected from a small organization that was based in Europe.
