The scope was to look for 3 frontend development roles. And the expected deliverables were to be presented with a strong pipeline of candidates after an initial screening call and active search by Bees Knees' team. From that point on, the Plux Agency team would take over and conduct the rest of the process.

• That we would fill in the positions we wanted. Which we did, and are very happy with. Even besides the people we hired via Bees Knees, the overall level of the pipeline was very high.

Yes, they delivered everything on time, with a constant inflow of candidates and all reporting done in time. They were always very responsive, a slack message away.

Thanks to them, we found more than 10 new people to join our teams who are now long-term high-performing employees. Bee's Knees helped us with sourcing and interviews and often helped close the positions by giving strong selling arguments in addition to ours. In addition, they were always very helpful in providing honest and correct overview of different markets.

BeeKnees helped us source a difficult-to-find early stage startup hire.  They needed to be able to be knowledgeable from an engineering standpoint, but also flexible and responsible enough to work independently/remotely for a constantly evolving startup

Slack communication for any/all updates of new and existing candidates in the pipeline.  Hiring for a "snowflake" startup company isn't easy, but BeesKnees worked with startups before and knew the type of candidate to look for.  Very onpoint candidates versus other recruiting firms we engaged.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was really impressed with their knowledge and familiarity of US startup culture and what persona/skillsets would succeed in that environment.  It's very different than typical recruiting/candidates, and I appreciated that they very quickly honed in on what we were looking for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Bee's Knees could have done differently?

First I'd say Bee's Knees did everything I expected of them.  So any suggestion would simply be an improvement beyond what was expected.  Being able to provide light technical screens and summaries of some candidates first would have helped me go into some calls better knowing where the candidate was at.

There are some standard questions where they can answer open ended that will give me an idea of their experience right away.

"e.g how would you diagnose a slow dynamic web page?"  or "how would you migrate a database column change in production?"

Having these answers in advance of a call would help me jump right into the level of questions that I think would be appropriate for the candidate.

About the project. In our first meeting, I described our challenges: we hired an HR without previous experience in the tech industry, and we needed to bring her up to speed with hiring topics. In 4 1:1 sessions with our HR, they covered sourcing, profiling, and interviewing topics.

• Our HR was able to tackle recruitment topics independently after the mentoring and was shortly promoted from HR Associate to HR Manager.
