We are a residential cleaning company. I am the owner and chief operator.

What challenge were you trying to address with Be Aligned Web Design?

We wanted to expand our clientele. We used Facebook and other social media platforms to get our name out, but we needed a website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did everything for us, and the site is an easy way for people to reach out to us. They linked our contact page to our business email, so potential clients can write to us with information we need to provide accurate quotes. There is some general pricing information on the site, but the ease of that communication feature is very helpful. They wrote a little bit about ourselves and the company, and they really brought us to life online.

What is the team composition?

We worked directly with one individual.

How did you come to work with Be Aligned Web Design?

We live down the street from our main contact. We knew her personally, and it was great to work with her.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe we spent around $1,000 on the site.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around September 2018, and they finished the site within two or three weeks. Now that we've launched, they contact us regularly to make sure everything is working well. We can reach out anytime we need to make adjustments.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The greatest result is how aesthetically pleasing the site is. It's clean and crisp, with bright, eye-grabbing colors. We made some changes to the first draft, and they were very receptive to all our ideas. We are much more visible online, and people reach out to us when they like what they see.

How did Be Aligned Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?

It was a very easy partnership, and we met a few times before we launched. We also communicated through text, email, or phone. They always answered right away, and communication was great. Our contact is a great businesswoman, and she knows what she's doing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're very genuine and down-to-earth. They are passionate about their work, and they really cared about us and about our business. They listen, and they structured a website that suits us very well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have anything they should improve. They turned any potential negative aspect into a positive.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go into your collaboration with a plan. Give them as much information as you can, and they will build off of your vision. Stay in contact and share your thoughts, but be open to their ideas.

I own a small business painting company that focuses mostly on residential repaints. However, I do all kinds of painting in my work.

What challenge were you trying to address with Be Aligned Web Design?

I’ve been able to keep my business going on my own, but I did want to get my company out there to generate new leads. Ideally, I didn’t want to stress about landing my next jobs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed my web page for my company. To start out, we met in person to discuss my goals and their capabilities. I provided them with ideas I had for the site. They ran with them, fully designing a site from scratch. I’m not a tech-savvy person, so I wasn’t sure what could or couldn’t be done. Aside from my initial ideas, I really gave them creative reign on the project because they were able to offer suggestions and best practices.  In the end, we reviewed the work together for my approval. 

What is the team composition?

I worked exclusively with Erin (CEO, Be Aligned Web Design) on the project.

How did you come to work with Be Aligned Web Design?

I belonged to a business referral group, where Erin attended as a guest. At first, I didn’t know if I wanted a web page because I didn’t want to bring in too many inquiries, as a one-man business. Over time, I thought that I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. So, we began to talk, developing a working relationship. She was easy to work with, so I hired her.

What is the status of this engagement?

She built the site around July 2017. The entire process took about a month.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With the website, she also set up Google Analytics, which shows the traffic on my site. I consistently get a decent amount of traffic. It’s not a huge amount, but even without putting myself out there much, the traffic has been impressive.  

How did Be Aligned Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?

We were in contact pretty frequently, so I was able to provide information to her to make the solution best fit my needs. I could reach her through text, email, or phone call, depending on how urgent my need was. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Be Aligned Web Design really cared about my side of the business. She showed interest in my company and the other small businesses I help, as well. She was able to use her creative direction and experience to produce a visually pleasing product that functioned well. It was handled without many design ideas or creative input on my end, which was impressive. I appreciated having her own expertise and ideas incorporated into my site.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything offhand.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t be afraid to jump into it. Whether or not you think you’ll see an immediate ROI, be open to working with her. She has your best interests at heart and will definitely be easy to work with.
