I’m the CTO at a SaaS company.

What challenges were you trying to address with bards.ai?

We had many ideas in machine learning, but our team wasn’t enough to work on all of them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We talk to bards.ai when we need extra help on our projects. If they have the necessary expertise, they take over. We usually have an initial brainstorming session to discuss possible solutions, existing software we could use, development options, and more. Afterward, we meet periodically to get updates on the project, prepare documentation, and so on. In the end, bards.ai provides us with the final product.

For technologies, they mostly use Python.

What was the team composition? 

We work with five teammates: four are co-founders, and one is an employee. Some of them focus on the research side, and others on implementation. Although most of them are jacks of all trades, they’re all involved in different project stages.

How did you come to work with bards.ai?

I attended a hackathon organized by a university and met them there.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent between $20,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around May 2022, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

All the projects they’ve been involved in have been successful. Moreover, bards.ai’s team is pretty responsive and proactive; they bring new ideas.

How did bards.ai  perform from a project management standpoint?

They manage everything on their own, but we have our own project management system inside our company. They share their processes and documentation with us and update it each week so we have a clear project timeline. Additionally, they’re good at providing feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They do more than what we ask them to do; the team always proposes solutions that we couldn’t figure out without them. For the last project we did, bards.ai proposed a completely new solution that hadn’t occurred to us before.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I couldn’t say anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The best way to work with bards.ai is to use their analytical and critical skills instead of handing them tasks.

I'm the CEO of Applover, a full-stack digital agency.

For what projects/services did your company hire bards.ai, and what were your goals?

The bards.ai team provided AI expertise to the client, conducted a number of studies that were carefully described in a report, and implemented a working solution based on the provided data. We needed a reliable partner to develop connectors for aggregation of data from several sources, as well as a processing pipeline that predicts given metrics based on historical data.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral, they proposed a reasonable offer and were highly communicative. This convinced us to trust them and start a cooperation.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Our main goal was the development of connectors for the aggregation of data from websites, such as: Github, Jira, etc. Wa also aimed to develop a processing pipeline that predicts given metrics based on historical data for our project.

We worked with 4 Machine Learning Engineers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch the product on time without any bugs. The solution the team proposed worked well and covered all the necessary functionalities we needed.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The team was highly responsive and always eager to propose the best possible solution. We used Slack and Jira tools. We also had daily meetings to discuss the most important aspects, tasks, and progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I felt that they really took the responsibility for the project, and that I could trust them. The team was composed of experienced experts that were also highly communicative.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was excellent.
