The quality of the people. And their ability to blend seamlessly at all times both sides of the design process: creativity and aesthetic together with marketing insights and rationality & structured engineering.

I think they are excellent at what they do and extremely attentive to the needs of their clients - I will definitely work with them again.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We – Kensa- have been in the market for over 20 years with a successful product that is seeing increased competition which are producing very comparable product. Therefore we have engineered a new product and have taken the opportunity to give the product an aesthetic refresh, as well as improved performance and more user friendly. 

The product brief and specification we gave to Bang described the physical attributes the product must have- such as the physical footprint, target product cost and user accessibility. During our initial face to face meeting at our facility we ran through the assembly, testing process we have on site as well as a general introduction to the technology. 

We identified that the solution must be able to be stored easily on site and therefore come in parts that can be nested in our stores and assembled easily. As Bang Creations are a certified B Corp they also brought sustainable design considerations such as material selection and manufacturing processes to the brief.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The work had two different areas of grading, technical and aesthetic. The purpose of the work was to find at least one design that fit both needs of the unit.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project was managed in three milestones, initial requirements capture, design refinement via Kensa's stakeholders and final design selection. At all three stages, the expected work was delivered on time and presented succinctly. Any questions or concerns were raised in good time so both parties were capable of solving them within the time scales given.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I felt that BANG Creations has a wide range of skills within their team that made me confident that they understood and could develop any technical nuance that arises with ground source heat pumps. I was also particularly impressed by how quickly they could disseminate the needs for the project into usable concepts.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Bang Creations Ltd could have done differently?

I have no feedback for improvements for BANG at this stage. Kensa requested that they produced a wide range of initial concepts and that's exactly what we got. As a customer I literally have no complaints
