One of the commercial holdings that we have as a client, needed to make a multi store for all the companies that markets in digital marketplaces. We chose Adobe Magento as eCommerce platform, and Adobe recommended Balloon Group as an outstanding partner in this type of projects.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We went directly to Adobe to ask for recommendations for their partners. We were introduced to Balloon Group because of their flexibility in operation and agility of implementation. We were very grateful to the Adobe team for the recommendation. Also one of the factors was the hourly value (USD$50) and having a time zone and cultural proximity.

Diagnosis and planning, UX/UI design, staging and agile implementation methodologies. The key was that in only 60 days, we had the first site operational with the SAP hana integration done in only 30 days. From then on, we rolled out an independent store once a month. A great success.

We started the process with the regional sales team. Once the project was presented, the technical leaders of each area joined us. Something that impacted me was that once the project was correctly estimated, the COO, CTO, and even the CEO presented themselves as responsible to the whole structure. That had a very positive impact on me.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We reduced the implementation time by 60% compared to other projects of other partners. We had a savings of almost USD $15,000 by reusing and implementing the middleware that was custom developed for our ERP and eCommerce store.

Very good management. You could tell the team was very skilled in agile methodologies. We used Scrum as a methodology at our request, as well as Jira as a project tracking tool. The SLA compliance in terms of deadlines was 96%. Highly recommended.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
As the whole team showed up, took ownership of the project, and as the senior roles wanted to understand what we were doing, who we were. Really a very personal and warm treatment and professionalism.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The result was very good. I would have liked to meet and get to know each other personally in some sessions, but it was impossible because of COVID.
