I’m the president and CEO of Speakr LLC, a high-quality interpretation and translation services company for medical, legal, and educational settings. We specialize in a wide range of languages, including ASL and indigenous languages, through in-person, video, and phone formats.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Bace Agency?

We needed to enable a 10-person civilian agency to safely adopt AI for reporting, documentation, and multilingual onboarding without exposing sensitive constituent data. We also needed to train staff on compliant AI use and integrate private + Azure AI plus Anthropic agent tooling into daily workflows.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bace Agency designed and deployed a hybrid AI stack for a state/local civilian agency handling sensitive constituent data. The project had several phases, including discovery and architecture, where they assessed workflows, data sensitivity, and compliance requirements. They designed a hybrid solution combining a privately hosted local AI environment for confidential workloads with Azure AI for general productivity.

During the build and integration phase, Bace Agency implemented secure API pipelines leveraging Anthropic Claude (including recent agent capabilities), built workflow automations for reporting, documentation, and summarization, and configured strict controls to prevent any data leakage.

For multilingual onboarding, they stood up translator-assisted workflows to better serve non-English-speaking constituents. For training and enablement, Bace Agency delivered hands-on AI training for 10 staff covering secure prompting, approved tooling, role-specific use cases, and compliance guardrails. They also produced internal playbooks and prompt libraries.

Finally, they provided post-launch support, including optimization, monitoring, and iteration to lock in productivity gains.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We avoided around $7,000 per week in incremental staffing costs, which was around $364,000 annualized. We also saved seven hours per employee per week across 10 staff, which was 70 hours per week reclaimed. Moreover, reporting quality, documentation consistency, and translator-assisted onboarding improved measurably. We used internal company KPIs to measure these improvements. We also got a lot of positive feedback from our staff on the automation and reporting side.

Bace Agency was a highly dedicated and smart team. Their deliverables were on time. We enjoyed the communication and appreciated that they were responsive to all requests. We communicated through in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed by the speed and responsiveness of Bace Agency’s team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, everything was done at a pretty high level. The only thing is that we would have loved to have one of their representatives with us at all times, but they didn’t offer this. We wanted to have one of their team members available internally to troubleshoot in case of an emergency.
