I purchased a cs-cart license as a cms for my online store. Though we also needed to account for offline store as well. Given a combination of certain factors (we will not go deep into details with these), the simplest and cheapest decision was to purchase a ready made POS software from Webkul.
We also realized that we needed some customization to the POS software. Webkul suggested us a full solution to our case.
SOLUTION
How did you select Webkul and what were the deciding factors?
The vendor was the one who developed the purchased software, so that it was logically correct to address them for customization.

The primary software - the POS for cs-cart - allowed to serve offline customer within the cs-cart cms. This was a useful feature that allowed our team to postpone the adoption of a serious inventory management system for now. The POS itself had some flaws in code, but the developer team impressed me with the speed they fixed any of the issues I faced.
The code itself was pretty well designed and I was able to add some code of my own even though I am not familiar with php at all. Then Webkul added new features to the primary POS that included: - the ability to add and update product stocks through the pos - added product stock details to the pos, showing additional info on the screen.
The developers also installed the new software directly to the website directory, as I requested. Because I had my own customizations in the code, I needed it to stay there after update.

I only contacted 2 people - a sales manager and a tech specialist. But as I monitored the work I saw other people participating in the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The task for the developer did not require any measures of the work done except for the working software itself. The soft works fine now - this is the outcome I expected.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the support team and their vigor to serve our needs. The quickly reacted to any inquiries regarding any issues I face, whether because I did something dump myself or there was a small flaw on their side. I have a thread of almost 100 messages with the developer.
They really do an awesome job of providing the so-called "outstanding customer service".
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
As I have already stated - Their genuine desire to solve an issue and help me with their services have impressed me the most. Flawless results in the end.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Well, their initial software had some flaws - some products did not add up to the cart correctly, for example. The team quickly fixed the issue. But I thing that they should have tested for such issues in advance. On the other hand, cs-cart frequently releases updates, which might cause the incompatibilities.
