B3 is not focused on the trend of what's popular in the market place, rather they focus on solutions that will improve your business.  If you’re looking for a solution driven company to install clarity, alignment, and scalable positioning B3 is different.  If you want someone to make your content look better, there are thousands of options. If you want someone to ask why the right clients aren't finding you B3 will help you find the answers.

Early on, the framing around outcomes was more social-media-centric than I needed. I'm running a crewing and equipment company — my buyers are traditional as well as streaming, networks, high end corporate, and marketing producers, not Instagram followers. Once we aligned on what "results" actually meant for my business model, the work sharpened significantly. I'd say B3 could have by-passed the time spent conducting the social media analysis earlier in the engagement. While in the future some items may arise, we are confident that B3 will listen and make the right adjustments for my company.

CHG solicited the services of B3 Media Solutions to assist CHG in gaining deeper understanding of African-American members via in-person focus groups. B3 will be responsible for providing CHG with comprehensive analysis and insights from the focus group data, leveraging B3 Media Solutions expertise in healthcare research and social media marketing analysis. In addition, B3 will offer strategic recommendations based on the analysis, which will aid CHG in enhancing healthcare services for this community and measurable outcomes. 

1.  Project Management and Reporting:

•      Kickoff and Research Review: Establish project objectives and timelines with CHG stakeholders, gathering prior organizational research for review.

•      Topline Findings Review and Strategic Action Planning Workshop: Review preliminary findings from focus group analysis with CHG and discuss potential implications of these learnings for the organization.

•      Blinded Transcriptions: Provide anonymized transcriptions of each session, ensuring all personal health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII) are redacted.

•       Report of Key Findings and Recommendations: Deliver a detailed report, outlining key insights and actionable recommendations.

•      Executive Summary: A concise summary of findings to disseminate across CHG, particularly for executive members.

2.  Qualitative Research

•      Screener: Develop and deploy screener to individuals based on defined criteria.

•      Participant Recruitment: Recruit 48 CHG African-American members over the recruitment period over a four (4) week period. Individuals that qualify for the research, based on the results of the screener, and agree to participate in one of the two scheduled in-person sessions will be included in the recruitment list for CHG approval.

•      Participant Confirmation: Contact individuals approved by CHG to finalize participant qualification and answer any of their questions.

•      Focus Group Discussion Guide: Create a comprehensive guide tailored to elicit detailed responses related to healthcare experiences, with a 10-person group allowing for around 8 questions with probes.

•      Focus Group Execution: Facilitate two 90-minute in-person focus groups which would include 65-minutes for content for a 10-person group. Focus group will be done with Taylor Research located at 1011 Camino Del Rio S., Ste 405 San Diego, CA 92108.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Right now, B3 Media Solutions monitors Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for us. They monitor our competitors too. The team currently uses Brandwatch as its social listening platform.

They provide us reports either ad hoc or at a monthly reporting level. We have weekly check-ins with them to go over insights. The team helps with trending topics and making recommendations for our business.

B3 Media Solutions looks at the overall conversation – what people are talking about and what the trends are. The team advises us from those trends, letting us know if we should invest more in a trend or social media platform. They help us stay relevant in the conversation and see potential problem areas or areas to win as well.

What is the team composition?

We deal directly with Myra (Co-Founder), Barika (Co-Founder & CMO), and Thomas (Co-Founder). Under them, they have three junior analysts.

How did you come to work with B3 Media Solutions Inc.?

They were already picked out by my previous manager. When my manager left, I was pretty adamant about keeping them on board. We found that people coming in from leading organizations found their work impressive.

How much have you invested with them?

I want to say it’s between $80,000–$130,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in October 2017. We recently re-signed a one-year contract.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

At first, we kept the reports internally to help with our strategy. The reports provide us with helpful audience insights and analysis. After a while, I started printing them out as sharing them with people outside of my direct team. Everyone wants the reports. Even the president is aware of them.

They’re a small company, but we never feel constrained by them. They’re always supportive and on top of it. The reports are easy to digest, and our company can use their insights to drive its marketing approach.

How did B3 Media Solutions Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Each week, we have a check-in. They’re always on point. In the last three years, they’ve never been late.

While we do use email, we mostly work with them out of Google Docs. They’ll make sure to give us access to the reports before the meetings. We had a shared folder that stores everything we collaborate on.

Their team walks us through them to make sure that they can answer any questions. Our weekly check-ins are where we touch base. It’s a very collaborative effort. I’ll share if we’re aware of an organization’s plans, and they’ll keep an eye on that topic and see if there’s any trend.

What did you find most impressive about them?

B3 Media Solutions values the relationship more than receiving the top buck.

It was apparent while we were going through budget cuts and furloughs within our industry that they were still willing to work with us on our contract. They found areas of efficiency to continue our working relationship with them. Their team cut certain hours so that we weren’t getting charged as much. They also kept the rate pretty consistent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing really jumps out.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open and talk with them. Thomas handles the business side, and he’s an open and honest person. They will tailor whatever you need, even if it’s not on the menu. If you’re thinking of working with them, let them know what you need exactly. Communication is key with them.

We brought B3 in to increase local patient bookings, improve referral growth, and strengthen our authority positioning within our specialty. They conducted a full media audit, analyzed our competitors in the local PT market, and delivered an Audience Intelligence Report that clarified who we were attracting, who we weren’t, and why. The result was a clear positioning shift supported by structured social playbooks and defined KPIs tied to booking quality. Over the past year, our inquiries have become more aligned, our messaging is significantly clearer, and our social presence now reflects the level of care we provide.
