Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO and Co-founder of AgileSherpas, a professional services firm that specializes in helping enterprise marketing organizations apply Agile ways of working to their unique context.

For what projects/services did your company hire Automagically, and what were your goals?

Because we're an organization that markets to marketers, it's important for the foundational aspects of our marketing messaging to be on point. Both our co-founders are marketers by trade, but simply didn't have the time to execute essential tactics. Automagically became an extension of our team, allowing us to serve our own clients more effectively while they handled day-to-day marketing work, such as content creation and distribution, email, social media, and online advertising.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our main need was a partner who understood Agile principles and their application to marketing. This is a key pillar of all our content and messaging, and without this capability, we would have spent far too much time overseeing and editing our agency's work. Automagically is an Agile organization, so the fit was perfect.

Since the start of our engagement Automagically has been with us during strategic planning, project scoping, and daily execution. They're part of our Asana board for project management, use our Miro instance to map the client journey, and oversee email marketing and content creation in Hubspot. They plan bi-weekly sprints alongside our team, provide regular reports on channel performance, and develop social and editorial calendars.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have an account manager who supports our account, several content creation specialists, and an ad specialist.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our business has grown 518% over the past three years, nearly all of which is attributable to leads generated by the inbound marketing efforts that Automagically has enabled. We've seen continued growth in organic search reach, social audience and engagement, and quality of leads.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our workflow is highly effective. We use Agile sprints to collaborate, and Automagically is part of planning, ongoing workflow visualization in Asana, and task review three times per week during standup meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're an integral extension of our internal team, and totally embody the Agile ideals they help us teach other marketers about.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of. They're a highly reliable and effective partner.

We have been happy with the content and paid-to-advertise they have provided us. We have actual metrics now around marketing.
