I’m the owner and managing partner of The Law of Antoinette N. Harris, PLLC. I’m also a judicial candidate for Dallas County Justice of the Peace.

What challenge were you trying to address with Aume Media?

I’m running a judicial campaign and need videos for marketing purposes on my social media platforms and my campaign website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Aume Media has produced two videos for me. We started with a discovery phase to determine the scope of the project. I told them about my campaign and what I needed to cover in my speaking part. Aume Media has found areas around the community where we can get B-roll.

Aume Media has handled all the video editing and audio mixing. We’re working on the last edit of the second video. I’ve submitted some pictures for them to include in the B-roll, but I didn’t have the required waivers. The team has offered to provide those waivers, which I thought was pretty cool.

We’ve worked with four people from Aume Media, including Micah.

How did you come to work with Aume Media?

I found Aume Media through a referral. I chose them because I viewed their work product and was impressed.

We’ve spent $3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The first video has 7,300 views, 328 likes, 115 comments, 79 shares, and 13 saves on Instagram. The second video has 388 views, 21 likes, three comments, five shares, and zero saves on another page. Aume Media's work has exceeded my expectations.

How did Aume Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Aume Media has delivered the work on time and within budget. They’ve communicated well with us using phone calls and email, and there have been no issues with communication. Aume Media has been proactive, prepared, and on time. They haven’t missed a beat, and we collaborate using Google Docs. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Aume Media’s biggest strength is their experience. The level of preparation and quality of the production are top-tier. Micah has been able to direct the team and the production. I’ve needed some guidance in my tone at times, and he’s been able to help me. This has been the most amazing experience I’ve had with any production.

No, there aren’t any.

Be prepared for an amazing experience. You don’t have to worry about anything; Aume Media will cover all bases. You can lean on their expertise and trust that the outcome will be as great as the filming experience. The outcome will far exceed your expectations.

I’m the director of film programming at the Denton Black Film Festival (DBFF). Our organization is an annual event that showcases and celebrates Black stories, culture, and experiences through film, providing a platform for African American creativity and community engagement.

We needed a video production company to capture interviews, live footage, and create compelling promotional videos that beautifully reflected the spirit of our screenings and events.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Aume Media for the past nine years during the Denton Black Film Festival. Their work has consistently enhanced the festival’s image and given audiences a true sense of what to expect. Aume Media has played a vital role in shaping the visual storytelling of the Denton Black Film Festival over the years.

Their work has spanned a wide range of deliverables, including multiple promotional videos, a special 10th DBFF anniversary tribute, film selection reveal videos, and numerous interviews with filmmakers and festival staff. Aume Media has also produced the insightful What Is Black Culture? video series, helping to highlight and amplify diverse voices within our community. Most recently, they’ve partnered with us on a short documentary film, further demonstrating their creative range and deep commitment to impactful storytelling.

Aume Media’s contributions continue to enhance the DBFF experience and strengthen our connection with audiences. They’ve elevated our brand through increased pass and ticket sales and boosted our visibility across social media platforms.

Aume Media has been both professional and timely with all of the work done for the DBFF. We primarily communicate via email, but we also use calls and texts as needed.
