I had the idea for the application.  I provided screenshots of similar apps to identify the user workflow and experience.  They took that info and designed and built the app in its entirety. The tested the app and fixed glitches throughout the process until we had an excellent, seamless user experience.

From the beginning, they put together a comprehensive plan the detailed each and every step in order to complete the project.  They went step by step, completed that piece, sent me the updates so that I could approve and sign-off before moving to the next step.

This project was managed exceptionally well.  The info they provided was thorough and detailed, they responded quickly, and they made changes that I requested without issue.  The project ran a bit longer than expected, but that is pretty typical.  The end product was far more comprehensive and advanced than I had orginally anticipated, and they only charged me what we had originally agreed to.

This is my first go with app development, so I no basis for comparison.  Nonetheless, they performed exceptionally well and delivered an outstanding product for the price I was willing to pay.

Since I was new to this, it was difficult for me to properly each and every detail.  A lot was learned along the way.  Perhaps they could have been a bit better anticipating my specific challenges, but in the end, they resolved every issue we encountered along the way.

Designs and features were organized into periodic milestones. Upon each milestone review, a list of test cases was used to evaluate the progress of the milestone. Any outstanding failed test cases were tracked until they passed.

Items were mostly delivered on time for review. The team was receptive to any feedback that I had on the deliverables. I would compile a list of issues including any failed tests, questions, or necessary rework. Those issues were tracked until completion while work on the next milestone began.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with the fact that aTeam would create basic wireframes during the initial scoping and quoting conversations. This helped reassure me and my team that we were hiring someone who has a solid grasp of our vision for the project. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS could have done differently?

I think the main area of improvement is how QA and testing was done and its impact on our timeline. aTeam was good about delivering milestone deliverables on schedule, but there were often issues that would arise in our own testing that were not caught earlier in their testing, which would create additional work. They did stick with the project and continued to fix any issues that came up. As a result, there was a tail end of the project which extended beyond the original milestone delivery timeline to debug and address issues. I think impacts to our timeline could have been minimized if their testing had been more thorough and tailored to the user experience, and if expectations were made clearer at the beginning that, after the final milestone was delivered, there would still be an additional debugging period.

Development of a Clickable Prototype:

The project began with the creation of a detailed, clickable prototype in Figma. This prototype was crucial for visualizing the user interface and experience, which ensured that all stakeholders had a clear understanding of the expected functionalities before the development phase commenced.

Onsite Collaboration:

I spent over two months in India working directly with the Ateam Software Solutions team. This intensive collaboration period helped align our goals, streamline the communication process, and facilitated a deep understanding of the project requirements and nuances, ensuring that the development aligned perfectly with our strategic objectives.

Comprehensive Web Application:

Following the prototype phase, the team successfully coded the web application, which consists of several key components:

The platform was launched successfully, although a bit later then planned, and was also designed with scalability in mind. This allows for future expansions and upgrades without significant overhauls, ensuring long-term sustainability and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.

Given the comprehensive nature of the platform, particular attention was paid to ensuring that all components are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards, protecting both user data and corporate integrity.

Initially i worked with them in the office so we had very direct communication and personally i found it easier to work face-to-face and make design changes right away. After the prototype phase i left India and they continued the coding. Communication mostly went through Skype chat and calls. It worked out fine. Respons has always been fast. The project delivery has been a few months later then planned but i do have to say we have build a very large application with lots of functionalities and therefore lots of coding.

I would appreciate more comprehensive application documentation to enhance effective issue resolution. Additionally, more accurate delivery estimates would be beneficial.

• Streamlined Operations: we have experienced a significant reduction in manual processes. Our order processing, and delivery scheduling have become more efficient, resulting in a 20% reduction in operational costs.
• Customer Satisfaction: improvements in efficiency, transparency, and ease-of-use has resulted in an increase in customer satisfaction scores. For example, the mobile app's real-time tracking feature has enhanced our customer experience and transparency. This has led to a reduction of inbound enquiries as customers can now easily track the live status of their shipments without having to contact us.

After explaining our vision and objectives, A Team meticulously planned the project. The schedule of works was broken down into Sprints with a clear timeline. With regards to communication, A Team adopt a collaborate and transparent approach. 

Their team has been highly responsive to our needs and feedback throughout the project, maintaining open lines of communication on a daily basis and actively seeking our input throughout. Regular meetings and progress updates allowed us to stay informed and provided opportunities for us to provide input. If we did need aspects changing, A Team were quick to action this and build it into the Sprints with the aim to minimise project delays.

When challenges arose during the development process, A Team were proactive in addressing and discussing these with our team. They helped to identify solutions which ensured that the final product was still truly aligned with our operational goals.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Having discussed the project with many other developers, A Teams values and approach to business stood out head and shoulders above the rest. The one thing I find most captivating about our collaboration is the profound sense of trust and shared values that underpin our relationship.

The project was a big commitment for us, however, I always felt in "safe hands" whenever any challenges prevailed. Finding a partner who shares our commitment to long-term success is a rare gem and we are excited to nurture and develop in the years to come.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS could have done differently?

I would have been beneficial to have seen live walkthroughs/demos earlier on in the process, however, I understand that may not have been possible due to the order that the software had to be built
