I have worked with Assuresoft for 4+ years and have engaged them in multiple SaaS companies with each one having multiple teams (5+ teams of 5-6 for each) as well as at a EM/Staff Engineer/Solution architect level. They were all involved in the day to day production of software including feature development, bug fixing, and tech debt remediation as well as QA testing in both manual and automated testing.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Continuous delivery of features in a scrum environment for late stage startups and helping with the overall tech debt remediation companies like this acrue. The best measurable outcome is the most important: on time delivery, which Assuresoft excels at.

Assuresoft provides project and engineering management as well as scrum masters. They have always delivered and been a joy to work with. Responses have been timely and any concerns addressed whether project, personnel or any overall concerns or changes in projects.

We're impressed with their strong engineering culture and communication skills. Was very impressed with proactive communication and foresight of upcoming challenges.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AssureSoft could have done differently?

My methodology working with Assuresoft devs is to treat them just like any other group of FTE devs in the company, so my expectations are the same for them as any team in my org. In my case,  would like Assuresoft to make sure their devs are comfortable with speaking their mind about all things technical and I will continue on my end helping with that.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Have been delivering bi-weekly updates on a consistent basis for the last 4 years. This has been unaffected by acquisitions, the introduction of new platforms and products, adapting to the new workflows and culture of the acquiring company and management changes.

Delivery has followed a standard timeline for large software efforts, generally on time, with normal slight variations ahead and sometimes slightly behind. The work has been of high quality and has encompassed the full stack and all levels of seniority. The team assigned to us has been remarkably stable, with excellent communication skills, fine education and great cultural alignment with the rest of our developers in the US, Canada and India. The assure-soft management has taken regular feedback and has continuously stayed in close touch with us to ensure an excellent outcome for the projects and the long-term collaboration.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Without exception, the engineers assigned to the projects came with superb training, excellent communication skills, deep familiarity with a diversity of project management frameworks and practices  -- and with an excellent attitude. Throughout their long engagement, they have kept investing in self- actualizing skills and have been a close partner in design and innovation. Even their most junior developer proved herself within months and became a trusted member of the team with full project ownership responsibilities within a few short months. Working with a stable, capable, enjoyable team has often make the full-time side of the house forget they were working with contractors, developing close partnerships and even friendships along the way. I haven't hesitated to deploy AssureSoft to represent the larger group in design meetings with other products, and the feedback from that exposure has always been outstanding as well.

Keep doing the work that you are doing. Supporting these team members with solid benefits and education has yielded superb results. I am looking forward to continuing this partnership in the future.

Assuresoft has been contracted to provider engineering services to build a patient scheduling system that utilizes AI assisted scheduling for compliance to scheduling rules and identification / resolution of scheduling conflicts and other scheduling related features: Deliver interactive calendar functionality AI Assistance for scheduling single and multiple patient appointments AI Assistance for resolution of scheduling conflicts & maximization of provider resources. Chatbot functionality for scheduling conflict free single and multiple appointments series.  Deliver custom waitlist functionality

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All outcomes have been related to timely delivery of specified milestones.

I work with Scrum Masters and Dev Managers as project managers.  We have not experienced delays related to the work of Assuresoft, however some key dates have been missed and/or scope had required downsizing due to missed dates on dependencies outside of Assuresoft. 

Communication and working relationships with these leaders has exceeded my expectations.

The depth of knowledge and experience I find with Assuresoft is probably the most impactful element of working with them.

Nothing that comes to mind.  The fact that the leaders have been very responsive and to issues that I've brought up and have been practive in addressing them as they have surfaced.

AssureSoft has been responsible for the front- and backend development of our app. The team has also worked on the architecture of the app and coding in Firebase and React Native.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had burn-down reports and Scrum boards that have shown us the progress of the project. AssureSoft has completed the app, which was our main goal. We’ve also looked at the crash rates, which have been very low.

How did AssureSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

AssureSoft’s project management has been great. We’ve communicated through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really love working with the Latin American culture. They’re similar to the North American culture, so we’re on the same page very often. It’s also great that we’re only two hours apart instead of 12 hours like Asia and Eastern Europe.

There’s nothing AssureSoft could improve on. They’ve been great.

AssureSoft has helped our engineering team deliver three features in the past year that were showcased at the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) conference, securing or influencing renewals from 6 customers at risk of churning with 2 potential comebacks from previously churned customers. 

How did AssureSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team blended really well into our team and were able to deliver great value to the product. We communicate via email.

AssureSoft's cost-benefit ratio is impressive.

 We had trouble finding a good candidate from their pool of candidates until we were offered to pay a premium rate for better candidates. Then, we got good ones.

AssureSoft’s QA engineers work hand in hand with our QA engineers, developers, and product owners to conduct manual and automation testing, document manual test cases, and create test automation. The team has performed functional testing, including integration and acceptance testing, usability testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, exploratory testing, and automation testing.

We’ve worked with 2–10 teammates from AssureSoft.

We started working together in July 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

AssureSoft has delivered manual and automated test cases, which have allowed us to deploy features on a timely basis. We now have QA coverage for more projects, providing daytime QA coverage for six additional projects.

How did AssureSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

AssureSoft’s QA team delivers on time. We communicate through Slack messages and calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AssureSoft’s continuous training and the sense of ownership that the team members have over their work have really benefited us.

Varies depending on project. In general, the Assuresoft staff responds well to feedback and changing needs.  Sometimes the goal of the task or project is not well understood but it is not discussed until it becomes an issue later in the project or a defect.

As seen with some developers, the level of training provided by AssureSoft is apparent in the knowledge of the developers and how they approach difficult tasks.

Encourage developers to state that they don't fully understand the requested task or project. Please don't state they you understand but actually don't.  If speaking in English is an issue, they can switch to Spanish to discuss and then ask the appropriate question in English.
