What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Sometimes there are problems with database technology. One time, we had a problem with importing data, but they reacted very well by providing me free services. They solved the issues without charging me any hours. We appreciated their recovery a lot.

I’m quite happy with Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd. They give me more than I expected.

How did Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is good. We use Slack with the developers. If a problem arises that needs a meeting, we use Skype or Zoom. We also share our desktop.

In November, we had a face-to-face meeting to discuss significant changes within the software.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their positive team never complains. Despite COVID-19, we’ve been able to continue our engagement. During difficult times, they’ve made me feel like I’m in a safe place.

Whatever comes, they will solve it no matter the payment or the time. It’s a very nice collaborative environment; that’s not easy to maintain because of distance and different cultures. But they’re very nice, and I’m happy with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They couldn’t do any better.

I’m the CEO and founder of XA Interactive. We provide digital advertising platforms and cryptocurrency for users to be able to buy and sell products in a safe environment. We created a platform to combat the onslaught of digital advertising fraud. Our platform provides not only a safe space for advertisers to get the best use of their dollars but for users to have a safe space to make purchases.

We initially hired Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd to help us with our web design. The relationship matured from there, and they’ve since become an integral part of our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd is responsible for the design and the development of our website. We're a standalone application, and we service users on third-party platforms. Our site is mostly informational to provide a corporate presence. 

They’re currently designing a digital wallet for us similar to Trust Wallet. They’re creating features and functionality so that the wallet provides safety and security for our tokens. Our cryptocurrency is based on the ERC20 platform through Ethereum. The tokens allow users to buy products on our advertising platform. In addition, those who have tokens in our pre-sale will be able to keep those tokens in our digital wallet. The tokens will be available on a bidding system. The digital wallet will have a messaging system for notifications if users have a bid pending for their tokens. The wallet should be done by the end of May, but they’ll continue to add features as we grow.

How did you come to work with Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd? 

I found them through social media. I was looking on Twitter for web developers and graphic designers. I interacted with Dhvani (business development executive, Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd). She was communicative and persistent in a non-aggravating way. We developed an informal relationship on Twitter, which then expanded to a few phone calls and then a full engagement. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The level of work that they do is transparent in the final product. We couldn't be happier with how the website turned out. We feel the same based on we're seeing of how the digital wallet is coming along. Our users, our token holders, and our investors are delighted. The design of the website—the overall flow and feel—is really comfortable. It's clean, and nothing is out of place. They truly add value to our company. We consider them part of our business model and will use them for any other development projects that arise. 

How did Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint? 

The Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd team is excellent. They're skilled, detailed, and communicative. There were some delays on our part in not giving them information on time, but they were firm with their timelines. If there’s ever any delay on their side, they communicate that upfront to set expectations. 

It can be challenging trying to deal with a vendor in another country. Vrajesh is so good at being able to translate what I'm telling him into what it is that we need him to do. They’re diligent, and they work fast to beat our timelines. Besides phone and email, I have access to them 24 hours a day through a messaging service. They're always available if I need them. We talk on a daily or every-other-day basis. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They're thorough and provide exceptional attention to detail. They gave us a lengthy list of questions to go over before they did anything. They also offer choices. They built three potential website layouts for me to choose from. The amount of work they put into that is pretty impressive. It took a lot of their developers’ creativity to build three separate site formats. They go above and beyond trying to please us. Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd isn’t looking just for one-off clients. They want a long-term relationship, and they certainly have built that with me. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's literally nothing negative that I could say. We’ve developed a close relationship as people and not just outsource team members. The team is in sync, so if I communicate something to one person, the others know it as well. I can’t even offer constructive feedback because they're so measured in everything that they do. As of today, everything has met or exceeded my expectations. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Understand that communication is key to their work. They'll give you every choice and option you can imagine. They can even help you rethink a design or use their creativity to come up with something you weren't necessarily thinking of before. Allow them the freedom to express that creative influence and do their work. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the product that they come up with for you.

I'm the CEO and co-founder of a company that provides tools for music lovers to discover new genres and artists from all around the world.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ashapura Softech?

We first reached out to Ashapura Softech for minor outsourced work. Our project required additional programming support to develop a mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ashapura Softech attentively supported the whole implementation process. Our app is API-based and we developed versions for both iOS and Android. The team assisted with the design and built all the functionalities we had in mind. They created a proprietary, client-owned API that lets us connect with third-party services that provide the musical content for our product.

They worked with our internal designer to technically implement the look and feel we had in mind. Our product let users swipe through songs and use the "favorite list" feature to curate a personal collection to listen to whenever they want. Based on the like and dislike interface, the system helps users discover new music based on their personal preferences.

What is the team composition?

Two project managers worked as our main points of contact. On average, they assigned six resources to our project. This team worked with seven of our in-house designers, coders, and advisors.

How did you come to work with Ashapura Softech?

A friend of ours advised us that Ashapura Softech could be the right partner for our needs. He had worked with the team 2–3 years ago. He gave us the contact information for our lead project manager. We discussed the scope and our companies need before starting our partnership.

What is the status of this engagement?

We first started working with Ashapura Softech in early February 2017 and launched the app in mid-July. Our current agreement covers the next year-and-a-half. It includes consultation and bug fixes. We're more focused on keeping the servers up and running than implementing new features right now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We compiled a group of industry members to beta test our product. They assess our app and services we release from several points of perspective, including the design aspects, UX/UI, and noting any functional flaws. Input from this user base helps us assess our outsourced vendors.

We’ve gotten very good feedback for the app’s slick handling and usability. Ashapura Softech fulfilled our most important set of criteria by delivering an app that works seamlessly and is devoid of bugs. We prioritize these functional aspects over the design quality. All in all, we’re quite satisfied with what they’ve delivered.

How did Ashapura Softech perform from a project management standpoint?

We've really enjoyed how responsive the team has been. Our initial form of contact was via Skype. We quickly transitioned to email so we could document our agreement concerns. Whenever an issue arose, Ashapura Softech responded within a few minutes. The workflow went as we hoped without any major problems.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I most value their excellent communication skills. This proficiency was especially beneficial for our timeline, due to the time zone differences between Berlin and India. We’d been needlessly concerned about that potential issue, but it all worked out well in the end.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their code documentation method could use a bit of improvement. During the project’s final stages, we had to work on some of the programming work in-house. We had some open questions after the handover.

Find a precise way to measure the scope. This advice doesn’t apply solely to Ashapura Softech; it’s based on most of my experience with outsourced vendors. Take care to preempt any misunderstandings when it comes to the disclosure of the scope.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ashapura Softech Pvt Ltd?

We hired them for the Salesforce POC and then implementation. We were looking for the CRM solution for our initiative where we have involve them.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had a tough selection process because this is landmark project for us. There were multiple round of evaluation which includes their knowledge for CRM - specifically Salesforce, BFSI vertical, team strength and others. The major advantage was about their experience in working with similar kind of project in the past which make them winner.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We are having around 25 sales reps and 8 call center people, for which we were looking CRM solutions and multiple automation. Also, we wanted to have a customer portal for our 1500 accounts, where they can get information about their accounts. The first stage was evaluation of the CRM platform with POC for our unique requirements, then discussing with our stakeholders and provide implementation plan in short time.

We are able to save 24% of our sales reps time via this tool, reduce the overall IT expenditure, our helpdesk calls has been decreased by 19%

It was surprisingly good and they were available in our timezone, effective Project Manager has helped us lot.

They were very involved and knowledgeable. They even helped with some of the BFSI good practices which we never thought and helped us to save cost as well
