We partnered with Arttteo to enhance our platform by introducing new features on our Platform, addressing existing bugs, and building a highly intuitive and user-friendly Supplier Management Platform from the ground up. Arttteo's team demonstrated expertise not only in the technical execution but also in ensuring that the Features and Platform was optimized for seamless platform management, enhanced security protocols, and long-term scalability.

Their approach was tailored to our unique requirements, allowing for more efficient control and monitoring of the platform’s operations while improving the overall user experience for both administrators and end users.

We utilized a combination of Jira for task tracking and project management, along with WhatsApp for quick communication and updates, ensuring smooth and continuous collaboration throughout the project. Weekly meetings were conducted via Google Meet, providing a structured forum to review progress, address any challenges, and align on next steps.

This well-organized approach enabled us to manage deadlines effectively, ensuring that tasks were consistently delivered on time and meeting our expectations in terms of quality and efficiency.

More detailed and concise business documentation earlier in the development process would have been helpful. But the regular progress updates allowed us to stay aligned and confident in the project's direction.

I’m the managing director of Pinetree International, a company that imports baby food from Germany to Georgia and distributes it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Arttteo is helping us develop a software solution to function as a loyalty program for our customers. We formulated the idea and gave it to Arttteo, and then we had a 2–3-week discovery phase to refine it. The team did the design according to our priorities. We gave them our brand’s colors and tasked them with arranging them in the design along with our logo, focusing on simplicity. 

Currently, Arttteo is building our solution, which includes a web application and a mobile app for iOS and Android. Our customers will receive bonuses for buying our products in the app, whether they’re a retailer or a pharmacy. Doctors will also receive rewards for promoting our brand. The Arttteo team is helping us add a rich amount of materials to the app, including news about nutrition and baby care. We’ve also asked Arttteo to implement a feature allowing customers to purchase goods directly from the application with a nationwide delivery service. 

What is the team composition?

I only communicate with Rezi (Co-Founder & Head of Growth), who manages the project. He has a team of 5–7 people from Arttteo working with him. 

How did you come to work with Arttteo?

I used to work in government, and a friend from the Ministry of Economy recommended Arttteo because they won a competition and fulfilled projects with the government. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re satisfied with Arttteo’s work, and we’re confident that they can fulfill the task. The team has met all our interface and structure requests. They will complete development next week, and as far as I know, everything is ready for initiation. Additionally, they’ve offered support services, so I don’t think we’ll have problems in the future.

How did Arttteo perform from a project management standpoint?

The team acts according to the schedule, and their communication and responsiveness are good. Although the have been some delays, they haven't been significant, and we understand they can happen sometimes. Our main form of communication is meeting through MS Teams or Zoom, where the developers were also involved. We also use phone calls and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Arttteo’s staff is their strong point; they’re a team of professionals who communicate well and act swiftly. For me, the most important thing is to receive answers in a timely manner and be satisfied with the product, and I appreciate Arttteo’s approach to both. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they need to improve; they do what we ask them to do.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to check what kind of development projects Arttteo has done in the past. If a customer is looking to make a loyalty solution or something related to medical activities, Arttteo is quite creative in this field. However, I’m not aware of other projects they've fulfilled, though I know they have a good reputation, and they’ve even received an award from the Ministry of Economy.

I’m the founder and CEO of Homemarket, a B2C e-commerce solution that sells groceries to individuals and households.

What challenge were you trying to address with Arttteo?

We needed a mobile application where our customers could see our products, so we hired Arttteo for software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Arttteo is developing my company’s software. They’ve already built an iOS mobile app, which is currently going through a testing process by our employees. The team has also delivered a draft of the Android app’s MVP. We found some bugs, so we returned the draft with our comments, and Arttteo is now addressing those issues. 

The app includes a shopping cart and checkout features. The team has also helped us add tip functionality for the couriers and a display of delivery time. As soon as the Android app is finished, Arttteo will start development on a website similar to the mobile applications. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with the CEO when it came to negotiating the contract. Since signing the contract, I’ve worked with only two people from Arttteo, the project owner and a business analyst.

A friend who had worked with Arttteo and had been satisfied with their work referred me to them. 

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent $40,000. The total value of the contract is $60,000.

We signed the contract in December 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The application is working well, and it’s doing what it should be doing. When Arttteo first delivered the apps, they also provided us with the source code, my in-house development team checked its quality, and they quoted the cleanness of the code. Additionally, Arttteo is very strict regarding their timing; they’ve never been late for any milestone. I’ve been working with developers my whole career, and the team’s timeliness is an exception to the rule. 

How did Arttteo perform from a project management standpoint?

Slack and Asana are our task-management solutions. We communicate through video conferencing calls, mainly Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed by Arttteo’s timeliness and pricing. Their prices are very reasonable; I hesitated to bring them on because I was afraid the quality wouldn’t be so good. Eventually, I signed the contract, and I’m happy that I did. 

Working with them is as simple as buying bread in the supermarket; I tell them what I want, and they deliver on time. The process has been very smooth and easy — I have nothing to complain about. I’ve been in the technology business for many years, working with in-house and outsourced developers, and working with Arttteo has been my best development experience so far.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they need to improve; I’ve never had any issue or situation with them.

You should be ready to answer questions regarding your business. Arttteo is very quick and asks concrete, detailed questions. The development process depends on your answers to these questions. Think about every detail of what you want before approaching them. Otherwise, the process will take longer.

Arttteo developed our mobile app from scratch. First, we provided our technical documentation containing our requirements. They then designed the app’s UI/UX using Figma and built it for Android and iOS.

Our customers could use the app to transfer funds, request statements, and make payments. The platform had biometrics capabilities, and it allowed the use of dark mode. Additionally, the tool contained security features. Our customers could contact us and view our special offers through the app.

I worked with an Android specialist, an iOS developer, and a project owner.

We found Arttteo on the Facebook Group for Georgian Software Development. Their portfolio and pricing was the deciding factor.

We wanted to create both an Android and iOS version of the app, starting off with an MVP version. We decided to write this App using React Native and Node Js to develop at a faster pace and to stay within our available budget. In the future, we will rewrite the application using Swift and Kotlin.

2 React Native, 2 Back-end, 1 Tester, 1 Designer and 1 Product Owner worked with us. All of the developers were seniors.

We have finished the development process, the app is now in the testing phase and we will be ready to launch soon.

We searched for mobile app developers on several platforms and shortlisted 3. Based on the experience, past projects, and the quality of work we chose this vendor

After that they started the developing process and delivered the product in 2.5 months. Throughout the process they implemented every feedback we provided. Within 2 months after our app was launched, we saw over 2000 downloads and achieved a 5-star rating in app store. We have seen a tremendous boost in traffic since launching the app and we have gained new users because of the platform.
