I lumped several projects together. Argo has helped us do transcription and subtitle translation for very long (hour+ length) videos every quarter. They've also helped us translate various documents, employee surveys, etc.

Argo provided the deliverables we asked for in a timely and accurate manner. They have significantly increased efficiency within our transcription and translation workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I contacted a professional networking group to ask for translation company recommendations. Argo was mentioned more than any other company, and I agree with the recommendations—they've been a great partner for us and very easy to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Argo Translation could have done differently?

The transcription gets a little weird sometimes when we're doing video to text for very lengthy videos. A lot of it is jargon, too - names specific to our business, processes specific to our business, etc. But they've been picking up on these and making improvements over time so there's less review work on my end.

Over many projects spanning multiple years, Argo has provided and continues to provide translations of English source technical documentation to multiple languages. Projects have ranged in complexity from short-form safety documents to long-form and highly technical user/installation manuals. Each project differs with regard to needed languages (to meet specific product market requirements) and timeframes, and Argo adapts with ease to any and all requirements.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Argo Translation is my most reliable vendor in all critical aspects of project success: communication, timeliness, and quality. Very notably, and sometimes with short notice, they are able to quickly turn around a deliverable in order for me to meet a crucial deadline - usually involving printed, in-box documents that tend to have stricter deadlines due to manufacturing start-ups. They have literally never missed a committed deadline for a project. If a document contains ambiguous information in the English source (or perhaps contains an outright error), Argo's team reaches out without hesitation to ask questions. This not only ensures accurate translations, but very often leads to corrected English source. Their proven reliability and commitment to my department's documentation success has allowed us to easily expand the number of translations we offer for our products. This makes my product and program managers happy. (And when they're happy, I'm happy!)

Argo's project management team is an all-star team of professionals, hands-down. When I send a request for a proposal, I get a response right away (usually within an hour). Projects get underway quickly once the proposal is approved on my end. Any issues with a project (for example, internal reviewers requesting updates to translated strings) are handled with professionalism and care. Projects always end on time, and with no surprises.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive aspect of Argo is their attention to my satisfaction as a client. During especially long-term and complicated translation projects, their company leadership has even reached out to ensure all is going well and always has their eyes open for ways to improve processes, as needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Argo Translation could have done differently?

None at this time. Argo is very good at getting out ahead of potential issues with a project and will proactively suggest improvements for future projects - most recently, for the document review process. They will also suggest ways (on my end) to prepare source files for more efficient translation, which cuts down on project time and cost.
