Apptunix was tasked with the creation of an App I envisioned called "Daily Lightamins". The plan was that I would write daily inspirational and sometimes humorous messages. A user of Daily Lightamins would then get these messages sent to them in a random order at a time of the user's choosing. For the first 30 days, they would receive them daily for free. If they wanted to continue to receive them afterwards, they could subscribe to receive them on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Here are some of the features that Apptunix had to handle to make the app:

The main manager with whom I have worked has been very amiable. We have communicated often through Slack with occasional virtual meetings. The virtual meetings were more frequent in the beginning but now we only schedule them when we feel like we need one. Most items were delivered on time. The app came out in Google Play about a month later than originally estimated.
The Apple version has experienced a setback in that Apple has asked for some redesign in order to meet their requirements. Whenever I had a requirement or design change, or found a bug to fix, Apptunix has been quick to respond without giving me a hard time. From what I can tell, they seemed to genuinely care about the app and wanted it to succeed.

They have done a great job with the look and feel of the app. Everyone who has seen it so far has been very impressed by it. They also did a great job with the app logo design as it really stands out on my phone compared to the bland logos that surround it. The price has been very reasonable as well considering the number of development hours that had to go into making this app a reality.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Apptunix could have done differently?
Yes, they need to improve the thoroughness of their testing. The app was never extremely buggy, but some rather critical aspects of the app needed much more testing than what it was given. We also probably should have met more frequently early on in the app development stages to make sure we were still on the same page as far as requirements go.

As per the initial requirements, team Apptunix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. needed to build a mobile app (iOS and Android) for customers who are Shopping lovers, want to book a taxi or publish and share a ride, or get a parcel or pallets delivered . This app will enable users to order eCommerce products and take advantage of the auction feature to purchase affordable items while using the book a ride or seat model to complete their journeys in a safe, affordable and comfortable manner and more so, enable them to send and receive parcels or packages without a hustle. The users will be able to see only the name of the Platform as the source for the orders and the orders will be bifurcated on the backend with respect to the Geo-location to various vendors/merchants. The user will be able to use the platform for placing the order for different items or popular products of a particular brand across the globe or it could be Items entered by the Admin or the vendors (after approval from the admin/sub-admin) on the system to be delivered on the lines of on-demand delivery application. The whole system will use the geo-location services which will play a crucial role in the order and item management. The vendors will be allocated based on the Geo-fence for the order created by the users through the app and there will be various surveys published by the ADMIN which will be dynamic, giving more direct feedback to the Platform/Service Owner from the end users. The objective of the mobile application is to serve as a state-of-the-art platform which will be connecting Customers and their needs in terms of the products that they want to shop online. The AIM of the platform will be to help the users by facilitating a digital way for them to use the app for ordering different items based on the Platform, through which the platform will help the vendors in increasing their sales. The service owner will be able to list multiple vendors over the platform who will also have the flexibility in using the auction feature to fast-track sales or items they want to get rid of immediately. There will be an application for cargo/courier or delivery persons or partnered courier companies and will be accordingly assign the order or ride requests. The drivers will ogf er their services at predefined rates set by the admin. Another objective of the platform is to serve as a state-of-the-art platform for different users to use the platform for ride sharing with two different purposes. The first service will be to avail taxi services wherein the user will select the start and destination location along with date and time. Based on the information provided, users will be shown dierent ride options from where they will be able to choose the best and convenient one. The rides search results will be displayed on the basis of matching algorithms i.e. the drivers who have similar interests as of the users, their profiles will be displayed first. Then the booking requests of the users will be sent to the drivers who have published the rides and they can accept or decline the booking request. The second service that this platform will ogf er is the car pooling service, wherein the user will publish their rides by entering their route details and can have different users join them in their ride. The drivers will be able to set the fare for each passenger and accordingly the users will send them the booking requests. After the booking has been confirmed, users will be able to enjoy their ride as per the confirmed timing and will be able to pay for the ride based on the payment method selected at the time of booking. Users will be able to add different payment options such as credit card, debit card and can even pay via cash if they wish to. Apart from this, there will be an admin/sub admin panel to manage all the functions of the platform. From here the service owner can monitor the different data and actions executed on the platform and set restrictions. The lobby was a place where participants can connect with each other via video chat or explore a Gallery wall. The lobby also boasts various ice breaker rooms with captivating 3D environments, truly enhancing the user experience.

As per the initial requirements shared by the client, team Apptunix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. needs to build a mobile app (iOS and Android) for customers who can be food enthusiasts, Restaurant goers, or get a taxi and parcel booked for themselve.
This app will allow them to order food, parcel and taxi services from the platform. The users will be able to see only the name of the Platform as the source for the orders and the orders will be bifurcated on the backend with respect to the Geo-location to various vendors.

We asked for a simple transport app for our brand new company. They have promised us ready product in 3 weeks. After 3 weeks nothing was ready. Next 3 weeks passed and we were not even a bit closer of getting our app. From time to time they were showing us some demo version of different app, but with our logo on it. We could not use it, just watch.
They said that our product is ready and we need to pay full amount to be able to see it, which we did. The thing we received wasn' t working at all. We have asked them to fix it, they were playing with us pretending that they still work on it, in reality they have done absolutely nothing. After a while they just stopped answering our calls.

They did not deliver anything. They took our money, not giving anything in return. I have done my research, there is plenty of people like us, who were simply scammed by them. Their office in States is non existent, as well as the one in UK.
They try to discredit every bad review they recieve, putting 3 or 4 fake (good ones) in that place. With so many projects they claim they do, still not many feedback, isn't it suspisous?The company is just a scam, please be aware, and don't repeat our mistakes.

Basically we were looking for an App developer coming who can develop both iOS and Android apps for my upcoming online Doctor's platform in Qatar . The main goal was to develop and publish the apps successfully on both App store & Play store following the proper guidelines and get the things ready by the timeline shared with the team.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I came across their company profile while searching for App development companies based in India. Their company profile was impressive with not so fancy words or shows, instead they were more focused towards the deliverables.
Also, when I sent an enquiry to them, they were quick with the response and the highlighted part was that people from top management were also involved in the initial call. That shows the sincerity and dedication of the people working there. I basically chose them based on their timely response and coming up with cost-efficient ways to develop the project. Also, they did add some of the ideas from their end to make my project more successful.

Project Steps:
Developing 3 different apps - Doctor side, Patient Side, Admin panel for both iOS & Android versions
Incorporating the key T&C and making sure that it meets the customer security policy as per Qatar government

The team has done a good job with the above mentioned. They were strict in following the deadlines. The technologies used were as :

The project was delivered on the said time and all the features were incorporated. We didn't had to do much of revision.

I am the founder of About Global LLC. This is a new startup company, and we do dates and services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Apptunix?
I hired Apptunix to offer custom software development services.
SOLUTION
What is the scope of their involvement?
I gave them the prototype that I had already designed in the US. We just needed them to develop the application. They examined everything before they signed the contract.
What is the team composition?
I worked directly with three people from Apptunix, including the CEO, delivery manager, and project manager.
How did you come to work with Apptunix?
I found them on Clutch, and they had a great review. I hired them because I couldn’t afford the payment of developers in the US, and they quoted an affordable range of budget.
How much have you invested with them?
The budget for the project was $24,000, and I paid them $18,000.
What is the status of the engagement?
We began working on the project in February 2022. We are no longer working with them.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
I contacted them, and we reached an agreement that the project would go for $24,000. In the contract, it stated that they were to be paid after each milestone. After the first milestone was paid, we realized it was not completed for our approval, and we reached out to them. They put it in an undertaking that we would continue at the next phase due to insufficient funds.
We discovered we were pushing many projects ahead unfinished. We asked them to complete the projects after paying them $18,000, but they refused unless we completed the payment first. They're now asking for $40,000 to release our code.
The relationship went downhill from the day we first made the payment. The project manager was asking questions about the project that she was supposed to have known because we had sent them the project beforehand. They were not responsive; we would have meetings and they didn't show up. I talked to the CEO who assured me everything would be okay, but nothing changed. They don't reply to emails anymore.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
I'm shut down right now, and I do not have any funds to go forward. I spent all my savings on a business that hasn’t even started.
How was project management handled?
It was negative because they didn't handle it well. I don’t believe that any company should leverage working with this company. They did not respond when I had complaints, and I have not been able to take legal action because we are not in the same country.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
There's nothing impressive about them. Nothing good has come out of this partnership.
In what specific areas can they improve?
I wish they would give me my source code, and feel they should not take any projects from anyone. I lost a lot of money working with them for a business I haven't even started.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
I would not advise working with Apptunix. They didn’t deliver what they promised, and they did not deliver on work after I paid them. Work with them at your own risk.

I researched mobile app developers and came across positive testimonials from APPTUNIX previous clients. Their pricing was also competitive, so we decided to hire APPTUNIX.. We had a call with them and they were (and are) very professional. Their estimation of the project made sense and they were super fast in getting back to us about the project feasibility and timelines.

"APPTUNIX developed our cross-platform app from scratch; we didn't have anything laid out already. Their team started by designing the app's UX/UI, and we outlined the requirements for each module. Their team added many modules, including a design, account, and home and game screens modules. Once the modules and design were finalized, APPTUNIX put together the backend and linked a database to the app.
They then design and develop app and website for us as per the finalised designs. We added so many things in the app during development and they managed the things very well without delaying the overall delivery. The app was build for phase-1 first for specific set of features. After that Apptunix develop second and third version of the app with many smart feautres and that too in very less time. They were super proactive. Now we have our app live and they are still giving us full support to manage our operations."

I worked with Project Manager and Tech lead from APPTUNIX, but they may have had more individuals work on the project. Overall there were 7-8 people.

The app and website both B2C and B2B are live and its doing good. We have number of users who are using the app. We hardly faced any complaints from the users and if they report anything APPTUNIX is always available for us to take care of them on priority. We are super happy with this engagement. The pace with which they have turned this idea into reality is commendable.

The workflow was very well defined and they use to understand and discuss each and every point before development which is their key point to do the development faster. We were using slack and emails to interact and we were having regular calls.

Their availabilty all the time wins our heart. No matter if it is a weekend or a holiday or night, they were always available.

I did not find any.
