BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the CEO of Mindtech Apps
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
Mindtech is a web, AI and application development company working with both startups and enterprise clients across Europe and the US.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire ALT.WERK to accomplish?
As our company evolved, we realized that our visual identity no longer reflected the level of quality and maturity we deliver in our projects.
We decided to invest in a complete brand refresh - including a new logo and a cohesive visual system - that better represents who we are today and supports our long-term positioning.
We were looking for a partner who understands that branding is not just about aesthetics, but about business context and credibility. That is why we chose ALT.WERK.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
We needed a modern, scalable brand system that feel modern, innovative, and tech-forward while also remaining professional and trustworthy in more conservative corporate environments.
The new visual identity centered around a refined wordmark, custom iconography, and a flexible color system - designed to communicate trust, clarity, and momentum.
Built as a digital-first system, our identity needed to work consistently across proposals, presentations, website UI, hiring materials, and product-related assets as well.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
There were two key challenges in our rebranding process that ALT.WERK tackled perfectly.
1. Serving two very different client segments
Our clients range from early-stage startups to large enterprise organizations. The new visual identity needed to feel modern, innovative, and tech-forward while also remaining professional and trustworthy in more conservative corporate environments.
For example, when a presentation we create for a startup or an enterprise client is shared internally within their organization, it must visually fit into that environment as well. This balance was essential.
2. Redesigning the Mindtech logo
Our original concept included the idea of a brain, symbolizing intelligence and problem-solving. The challenge was how to express this in a clean, minimal, and unique way - especially considering how many “brain logos” already exist globally.
We wanted something:
Simple and recognizable even with just a few lines Unique and distinctive Functional across all surfaces (from a small browser tab icon (favicon) to business cards, merchandise, and digital interfaces) Additionally, we wanted the logo elements to function as a flexible pattern system that could be used in presentations, website backgrounds, and various brand materials.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
ALT.WERK approached the project in a highly structured and collaborative way. We had weekly status meetings, clear checkpoints, and transparent communication throughout the entire process.
What stood out immediately was their ability to listen. They did not impose their own taste or direction. Instead, they invested time in understanding our business, our clients, and how we operate.
The final visual system - especially the flowing wave lines - elegantly represents both neural brain connections and IT network structures. It is simple, modern, and highly adaptable. The pattern system built from these elements allows us to maintain consistency while keeping our materials dynamic and visually engaging.
The collaboration felt balanced: they guided us professionally, but we were involved in decisions at the level we were comfortable with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to combine aesthetic sensitivity with strategic thinking.
They design systems, not just visuals. They understand how branding influences credibility, positioning, and long-term business perception. That mindset makes a real difference
Are there any areas for improvement or something ALT.WERK could have done differently?
We genuinely cannot highlight anything significant. The project was delivered on schedule, within expectations, and with a level of quality that exceeded what we initially envisioned.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the Interior designer of Sunny Side Up Studio
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
Sunny Side Up Studio (SSUS) is an interior design studio working on residential and boutique commercial projects. Our work is strongly atmosphere-driven, we don’t simply design interiors, we design how a space feels.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire ALT.WERK to accomplish?
As our portfolio evolved, we realized that our previous website did not fully reflect the emotional depth and visual sophistication of our projects. We needed a complete website renewal that translates our spatial thinking into a digital experience. For this, we partnered with ALT.WERK.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
We needed an emotional translation. Since interior design is physical and sensory - light, texture, materiality, proportions, mood, and a website is digital and flat, the question was: how can we make visitors feel something similar to what they would feel walking into one of our spaces?
We did not want a standard portfolio layout with image grids and predictable navigation. We wanted rhythm. We wanted breathing space. We wanted elegance and subtle tension. In short, we wanted a website that communicates the atmosphere of our interiors - not just showcases them.
This is something ALT.WERK also communicates as part of their own philosophy, and in our case, they genuinely delivered on it.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The result does not feel like “a website about interior design.” It feels like an extension of our studio. They paid attention to:
visual rhythm and white space typography that supports our tone without overpowering the imagery subtle animations that enhance the experience instead of distracting a calm, intuitive navigation structure The feedback has been very encouraging. New clients often mention that the website already communicates our style and mindset before the first consultation. It sets expectations at the right level and filters inquiries in a positive way.
For us, the biggest impact is alignment. Our digital presence now truly matches the standard and atmosphere of the interiors we create. That consistency strengthens our brand significantly.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
The collaboration was smooth and inspiring.
ALT.WERK did not approach the project in a purely technical way. They spoke our language - mood, proportion, narrative, flow. At the same time, they maintained structure and respected deadlines.
They were open to our ideas but confident enough to push back when something did not serve the overall concept. That balance between listening and leading is something we highly value.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to translate spatial atmosphere into digital design was impressive.
Many agencies can build a website. Few can interpret and communicate the emotional layer of a design-driven brand so coherently.
Are there any areas for improvement or something ALT.WERK could have done differently?
No major areas stand out. The process felt professional and the outcome reflects what we envisioned.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire ALT.WERK to accomplish?

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
ALT.WERK joined the project as a specialist design partner alongside our Salesforce delivery team. Their focus was on the user-facing layer of the Experience Cloud portal and the overall usability of the solution. They helped us review the initial user journeys, identify friction points, simplify key flows, and design a more coherent and intuitive interface for the most important portal screens.
Their deliverables included UX input during discovery and alignment, wireframes for core journeys, UI designs for the portal interface, recommendations around user guidance and trust-building interaction patterns, and close collaboration with our team during handoff and implementation.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
ALT.WERK’s contribution helped us simplify several core portal journeys before implementation, reduce ambiguity in the interface, and create a more consistent and confidence-building user experience. From a delivery perspective, their work also helped reduce open UX questions during build, which made collaboration smoother between design and implementation.
The end result was not just a cleaner interface, but a portal that felt easier to understand and more reassuring to use in the moments that mattered most. Client feedback on the clarity, quality, and professionalism of the experience was very positive.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was very strong throughout the engagement. ALT.WERK was responsive, organized, and easy to work with. They delivered on time, communicated clearly, and collaborated in a very partner-like way rather than behaving like a disconnected external vendor.
What I appreciated most was that they were able to bring a high level of design care without slowing the project down. They were thoughtful in discussions, transparent in communication, and adapted well when priorities shifted or delivery constraints had to be considered.
What was your primary form of communication with ALT.WERK?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out to me was their ability to think beyond standard UX deliverables. They were not only focused on usability in a narrow sense, but also on how the experience would feel for the user at each step (like where the interface needed to create clarity, where it needed to reduce hesitation or build trust). That added a lot of value, especially in a portal with more complex flows.
We were also impressed by the overall quality of their work and the level of thought behind the details. Their team brought together strong UX, UI, strategic thinking, and a very collaborative mindset.
Are there any areas for improvement or something ALT.WERK could have done differently?
There were no major issues in the collaboration. If anything, at the beginning of the project we needed a bit of alignment around the level of discovery and documentation required before moving into execution. ALT.WERK took the time to really understand the product, the users, and the broader context, and while that required a bit more upfront input than expected, it clearly paid off. In the end, this was a strength of the collaboration rather than a drawback.
