Altera Data worked with us to optimize our financial model and our cap table. They worked on fixing a couple of errors in our excel models and helped us maintain the model as new investors came into the picture. They also worked with us to do a Data Architecture Plan where they reviewed all our reports and data sources, and gave us an architecture proposal.

Altera Data met with us to understand our data infrastructure and formalize a plan to create a data platform. They provided us a detailed scope of work and brought our data from Google Analytics, Shopify, Meta, Salesforce, and Google Ads into Snowflake for our data warehouse. They also created 2 dashboards in Tableau for us to use on a regular basis. Once they delivered the product they also trained us on how to use the system for ad hoc reporting.

Using their platform we significantly reduced our reporting time. It used to take us hours to get our data ready for analysis and now its ready to review first thing in the morning. The reporting helped us pivot strategy and helped increase our campaign ROI by about 23%

They helped us move data from our ERP, our CRM, and excel spreadsheets into a data warehouse. From there they made some automated reports that are delivered every morning via email and a dashboard.

AlteraData consolidated and optimized our fragmented data sources—ERP, CRM, inventory management system, and e-commerce website—into a unified analytics environment. This engagement covered data discovery, prioritization, ingestion into a data lake, transformation into a high-performance data warehouse, and delivery of self-service dashboards. 

The key deliverables were a data discovery report, a data architecture diagram and instructions, a data lake and data warehouse, a data pipeline application to move data from our production sources to our lake and warehouse, and 2 dashboards.

My team has been working on a custom build of a CRM/FSM platform for client who does fuel storage tank inspection, testing, and service. Due to the regulatory nature of fuel storage, there is a tremendous amount of data and attribution that is operationally critical for my client's business which lives on government portals. I had previously been using an off the shelf low-code product to extract and load this data but this solution was hard to observe/debug, did not always scale well to new states, and was relatively expensive given our use-case.  Goals of this engagement were to:

• Replace existing scraping pipelines with something simpler, more robust, and more scalable
• Test scalability of new solution by adding new integrations for other states (CT, VT, NH)
