What challenge were you trying to address with Akurateco?

We wanted to strengthen the payment infrastructure component of our integration-heavy e-commerce projects. Our main objectives were to access reliable payment technology without developing a payment orchestration layer entirely from scratch, simplify integrations between e-commerce platforms, payment providers, and acquiring partners, support more flexible payment routing and transaction management scenarios, and give our technical team access to payment expertise during architecture, integration, and testing. We also wanted to create a scalable foundation that could support international and multi-provider e-commerce environments.

We’ve been able to move more quickly from architecture and discovery to integration and testing because the core payment capabilities, transaction management tools, and provider connectivity are already available.So far, the main outcomes include faster preparation of the payment integration layer, less reliance on one-off custom payment logic, better visibility into transaction flows and statuses, a more structured approach to connecting e-commerce systems with payment providers, improved scalability for projects involving multiple markets, currencies, or payment partners, faster resolution of payment-specific technical questions, and a reusable technical foundation for future integration scenarios.

Additional reference architectures, sample implementations, and testing scenarios for Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, and composable stacks could help development teams accelerate the earliest stages of implementation.That said, Akurateco’s specialists are responsive and provide the necessary guidance whenever we encounter a project-specific question.
