I’m the marketing manager of a company that develops and produces dermatological skincare products designed to support healthy, balanced, and protected skin.

What challenge were you trying to address with Acclame?

We needed help building a clear and consistent brand identity and packaging design system for RoutinoDerm, our range of dermato-cosmetics.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Acclame worked on the full brand development for Routino Derm, from positioning to visual execution. The scope included defining the brand strategy and market positioning, creating the visual identity system, and developing the packaging architecture. On the execution side, the work covered logo design, product labels, and secondary packaging such as boxes. We also developed a clear system for the product range to ensure consistency across all SKUs.

In addition, Acclame supported the selection of packaging materials and finishes, making sure they align with the brand’s dermatological positioning, usability, and overall product experience. They also contributed to decisions around materials and production specifications to ensure consistency between design intent and final output.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Following the rebranding and packaging system, we were able to present the products in a more professional and cohesive way at international trade events, including Cosmoprof Bologna, where the brand received strong interest. It also supported ongoing commercial discussions, including potential listings in pharmacy networks, by making the brand easier to understand, more credible, and better aligned with industry expectations.

For the launch, the new brand presentation made it much easier to introduce Routino Derm in a clear and credible way, especially in meetings and at Cosmoprof, where it attracted strong interest and opened new commercial discussions. We had more direct conversations with potential partners, several follow-up meeting requests, and clearer commercial interest compared to a standard launch.

The conversations and follow-up meetings opened several active discussions with potential distribution and pharmacy partners. Some of them progressed into concrete steps toward potential listing agreements, although nothing has been finalized yet.

How did Acclame perform from a project management standpoint?

The project was well-managed and delivered on schedule. Communication was clear throughout, deadlines were respected, and the process was structured, with smooth coordination between creative development and packaging execution. We communicated via in-person meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out most was how they built a clear system that made a complex range of 13 products feel simple and coherent. They managed to align different packaging formats, sizes, and bottles into one consistent visual architecture, so the whole range feels unified and easy to navigate, without losing each product’s individual role.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing specific they could have done better. The collaboration worked well throughout the project, and we continued working with them on other projects as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since launching the new brand identity and website, we've been able to approach new partners with confidence. The professional image opened doors that were harder to open before. We also started receiving CVs directly through the website, which tells us the brand is communicating the right things to the right people. Overall, it gave the company a more solid presence in the market and reinforced our position in the industry.We don't track every inquiry formally, but the growth speaks for itself. Since rebranding, we've scaled from €80,000 in our first year to €800,000 in revenue this year. We can't attribute all of that to the brand alone, but showing up professionally in front of partners and clients has clearly made a difference.We've received great feedback from partners. People noticed the change immediately. When we started showing up with a cohesive brand, professional materials, and a proper website, the conversations shifted. Partners took us more seriously, which made a real difference in how we were perceived in the industry.

What stood out most was how quickly they understood our industry. They didn't just deliver generic design work. The logo itself is shaped after HVAC pipes, which is exactly the kind of detail that shows they actually thought about who we are and what we do. That level of creativity combined with real industry understanding is not something you find easily.
