I’m the co-founder and lead of product for a startup based in San Fransisco, CA. We’re building an app that helps teams collaborate and communicate effectively.

For what projects/services did your company hire Abstracta Inc.?

When we began working with Abstracta Inc., we needed help testing our app. We didn’t have the internal resources to fix the bugs we were finding, so we hired their team for manual and exploratory testing support.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to ensure our app’s quality was up to standard. Our goal was to have one tester working consistently with us to meet our development timeline objectives.

How did you select this vendor?

We considered larger companies but they didn’t seem to be the right fit for our startup. From there, we evaluated several companies, including some in Eastern Europe and the Philippines, but we looked locally for communication reasons. We found Abstracta Inc. online and were impressed with their thought leadership and industry knowledge.

The tester from Abstracta Inc. tests our web app, and native iOS and Android apps. Another member of their team assists with our accessibility and usability testing efforts. In addition, they do mind map demonstrations to help us understand our options. They also provide suggestions to improve the project.

Abstracta Inc. provides 1–2 testers to support our team of in-house developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With the support from Abstracta Inc, we’ve been able to meet our deadlines and stick to our original release date.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Although we’re based in different countries, we’ve had no issues communicating. Even with the time difference, they have done a great job of adapting to our work hours. Their team is prompt, consistent, and open to feedback.

I’m most impressed with their ability to go above and beyond to ensure we’re happy. They also have a better attitude than most teams I have worked with.
