We wanted a platform solution for AR.

What was the scope of their involvement?

8th Wall provides us with a system for AR that lets us develop and release our AR products. The team helped us find the right solution for our project and negotiated the pricing. They host and manage the platform.

Additionally, 8th Wall has provided us with some consulting services, giving us advice on promoting AR in the best way.

We work with a key account manager. 

How did you come to work with 8th Wall?

An agency developing AR projects recommended 8th Wall as the lead provider for hosting AR platforms globally. 

We realized that 8th Wall was the leading company for AR releases through that recommendation and Internet research — searching for these types of projects, they always came up.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent between €5,000–€30,000 (approximately $5,600–$34,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality of 8th Wall’s system is good. Since working with them, we have a helpful solution that allows us to release our AR products. We don’t have any metrics or statistics. However, we have a good and working platform, so we appreciate having them as a partner. 

How did 8th Wall perform from a project management standpoint?

They have good project management performance. The team is helpful, precise, and quick; we can rely on 8th Wall’s work. 

We typically communicate via phone calls and emails. Because of the nature of the project, we don’t work together on a daily basis; we speak only once or twice a year to discuss our plans. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

8th Wall is the leader in their field. Whether it’s for experienced or new AR projects, there’s no other way to go but with 8th Wall — they’re the main players on the AR market.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve in providing us with more insights, such as platform usage, reports, and analyses.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

First of all, be clear on what kind of AR you want because your choice of system provider should depend on your project. 

Secondly, speak with 8th Wall and discuss what you want, how many people you want to reach, and how you want to roll out your project. That way, they can give you a good quote or tell you what needs to be done in terms of the system.
