To ensure the model’s accuracy and robustness, key data preprocessing strategies were implemented:

• Handling missing values.

• Actual Performance: The model achieved a GINI score around 40 and an AUC of approximately 70%, which was slightly below the expected target but still within a reasonable range for further refinement. This indicates the model was performing well, but additional data or fine-tuning could further enhance its accuracy.

We needed someone to build proof of concept (POC) solutions for our platform. We wanted to develop solutions with real marketable value.

Postdata developed a custom recommendation engine on our platform. They used Python to build the solution, which was an Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML) model. They developed everything from scratch.

Postdata executed the project in about a month; they were fast and professional. Moreover, they did an excellent job with the solution. The team delivered a well-rounded and fully-functioning product. The nature of their submission was premium quality; the documentation was superior and impeccable, and they captured everything.

How did Postdata perform from a project management standpoint?

They were particular about their work every step of the way. However, the communication was top-notch. We communicated via email, phone calls, and mostly Slack.

The one thing that stood out was the quality and presentation of their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They didn’t overcharge, but they could’ve been more flexible with their pricing structure. Additionally, they were more particular about project management than necessary. I felt they were too systematic, although that could be nice for some companies.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Spend more time upfront setting out the expectations and value proposition to ensure their decision-makers understand them. Once they know the value proposition, they set out to deliver the best. Since they’re meticulous about their project management, they’ll deliver just what you ask. Therefore, set a larger vision and guide them; if you start asking small, they’ll deliver small.

A system meant for managing fish, shrimp and oysters production data required additional modules for the data analysis. The Data Science work required included a number of classification problems, choosing the best candidates for mating in maritime agriculture production, as well as regression analysis including phenotype and genetic data. There was a number of Machine Learning algorithms implemented and tested to satisfy the business requirements, and the Data Science work has been finally accomplished with the usage of Deep Learning methods.

There were three people involved. Andrey Rohovy as a project coordinator and data scientist. Oleksii Piddiachyi - data scientist focused on research. Pavel Filatov - full-stack developer.

The delivered Deep Learning solution has fullfilled needs of our client with the expected classificaton and prediction accuracy measured by a number of statistical measures. The solution has allowed our client for a better effectiveness in the agricultural production, as well as mating process chosing the right animals for further mating, growth, and production.
