Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of Swalky, a social walking app for dogs and people.

What challenge were you trying to address with 3SDS?

We needed someone to help us develop our app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

3SDS is building a React Native app that’s compatible with the iOS and Android platforms. They’re optimizing a couple of functionalities before launch, including password reset, the registration process, the search feature, and the general reliability of the app.

Apart from that, they’re providing us with long-term maintenance support to fix security vulnerabilities 

The purpose of the app is to primarily connect people and dogs to go walking, and match them in terms of dog breed, fitness abilities, age, location, and preferences.

What is the team composition?

We’re mainly in contact with the owner of the company.

How did you come to work with 3SDS?

We came across 3SDS when we were researching for reputable and technically proficient companies.

We decided to embark on a venture with them after looking through their previous projects and meeting in person — they actually traveled to us, so that remedied our concerns.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested about $3,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our initial consultation started in February 2022, and it’s been ongoing since then

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were able to raise a whole list of issues they’ve identified through a spreadsheet that also shows proof of testing. It’s been a very well-organized process, so we know exactly where we’re moving forward.

Moreover, we’re very satisfied with the work as these developers actually go beyond to help us fix the situation we’re in — they’ve restored our confidence in developers.

How did 3SDS perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been produced and delivered on time, if not earlier. They don’t really give us a deadline date because they want to take the time to fix the issues as best as possible, and understand them a bit more about their context.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their communication, as they go out of their way to actually meet with the clients and learn their needs to fully address them — they establish good business relationships and they definitely have empathy for the situation we’re in.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As of now, I’m not entirely sure what they can improve on from a technical standpoint.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise you to spend time meeting with them to identify what you want and how to build it. Doing so will result in a quality application that will save you a lot of time and resources.
