For the Gyaros Competition, they provided 3D CGIs for the proposal and created a fantastic sary video for our submission, which got us an honorable mention. More recently, they have delivered amazing renders and videos for our master plan and eco resort in Comporta and assisted with the presentation materials for my talk at the SHARE Architecture conference in Malta in 2026. On both projects, these were architectural visualizations and videos.

The project involved the architectural visualization of a full upscale renovation of a 210 sqm apartment occupying the entire third floor of a preserved 1930s building in central Kolonaki, Athens. The provider was engaged to produce photorealistic interior renders of the redesigned spaces prior to construction, for use in marketing and buyer presentations. The scope covered the key living areas of the renovated layout: the spacious living and dining room, the lounge with its traditional fireplace, the two-space enclosed kitchen, the master bedroom with walk-in closet, the two additional bedrooms, bathrooms, and the home office. A particular challenge was capturing the design intent of blending the apartment's historic character — original patterned wooden floors, period detailing, and the curved rear balcony — with contemporary finishes and modern amenities, staying true to the architectural heritage of the building. The renders were delivered on schedule and to a high standard of photorealism and detail, accurately conveying materials, lighting, and atmosphere, and were used directly in the property's sales presentation.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The renders played a role across the full lifecycle of the project. During the design and construction phase, they helped us visualize and validate the renovation concept — the blending of the apartment's original 1930s features with contemporary upgrades — before and during works, supporting design decisions on layout, materials, and finishes. Commercially, the renders were central to the promotion of the property, allowing us to market a 210 sqm Kolonaki apartment effectively while the renovation was underway, and they also elevated the presentation of Resi Company's broader portfolio and brand. The project concluded successfully with the sale of the apartment.

Their project management was excellent throughout. Deliverables were consistently provided on time and in line with the agreed schedule, which was important for us as the renders needed to support both design decisions during the renovation and the marketing launch of the property. They were responsive to our needs at every stage — feedback and revision requests were handled promptly and accurately, and they were quick to understand our design intent, particularly the balance we wanted between the apartment's original 1930s character and the contemporary upgrades. Communication was clear and professional, making the collaboration smooth from briefing to final delivery.

What impressed us most was the combination of communication, professionalism, and the quality of the final outcomes. They communicated clearly and proactively throughout the engagement, which made the process effortless on our side. Their professionalism showed in how they approached the brief — they took the time to understand the character of the project and our design intent rather than simply executing instructions. Most importantly, the quality of the renders was outstanding: photorealistic, detailed, and true to the finished result, which made them genuinely valuable both for our design process and for the promotion of the property.

Are there any areas for improvement or something 3D Studio CGI Kite could have done differently?

Honestly, very little. If we had to point to something, it would be that as their portfolio and client base grow, maintaining the same level of hands-on responsiveness across every project will be their main challenge — but that speaks more to their quality than to any shortcoming. Perhaps a slightly more structured revision-tracking process could streamline larger projects, but for our engagement everything worked smoothly and we have no real complaints.

We required a company to create 3D videos for a new furniture brand we are launching which primarily sells sofa beds. The main objective was to show potential customers the functionality of the sofa beds and the key features. The initial project was to create five 3D videos to showcase each key feature of the product. Our aim was that customers who saw the videos would understand clearly how our sofa bed worked without having to read any text.

Absolute pleasure to work with, so much so we have already started our next project.

We tasked them with a challenging project: to prepare 3D renderings of a residential apartment building based on drone shots, with the goal of convincing the municipality to create a redevelopment plan for the property. The scope of work involved making the apartment building seamlessly blend into a neighborhood dominated by single-family homes. Despite the complexity of the task, CGI Kite delivered outstanding results. 

Their renderings convincingly transformed the apartment building into what appeared to be a single-family home from street view, while still showcasing its design and layout accurately. It is difficult to discern a difference between existing photos versus CGI's renderings; that's how sophisticated they are. Their attention to detail and commitment to capturing the character of the surrounding neighborhood was evident in every aspect of the renderings.
