BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of marketing at 3Play Media, a captioning solutions company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenges were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We needed a full website redesign and backend support services for it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web designed and created our WordPress website from scratch. We started by going through an iterative design process where they listened to our needs and goals and then came back with different options for us to choose from. Consequently, they went into the full implementation and site migration phase, which lasted a year. Regarding tools, they used InVision.
Currently, we have an ongoing support services contract where we engage with them when we need maintenance and upgrades for the platform.
What was the team composition?
We’ve mainly worked with Marc (CEO), their senior tech services manager, and a head designer.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
We found them online and chose them based on their confidence in building a fully-accessible site and their enthusiasm for working with us.
How much have you invested in them?
So far, we’ve spent $50,000–$199,999 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve noticed an increase in site traffic and website health metrics.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always good at staying within budget. Regarding tools and communication, we use email, Zoom, and in-person meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their accessibility is their best attribute. 3 Media Web’s team is capable and knowledgeable to provide suggestions and feedback whenever we have a question. Moreover, their design skills are creative, strong, and outstanding.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could be more proactive with site maintenance. Nonetheless, they’ve been very responsive whenever we ask them for something.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask questions to them and use them as a resource to get the most out of your website.

3 Media Web helped a nonprofit organization redesign their website as part of a rebrand. After the discovery phase, they rewrote all the content, restructured site navigation, and upgraded the company's logo.
3 Media Web's support enabled the organization to execute the QA and launch phase smoothly. In addition, the website received positive feedback, became accessible, and increased contact form submissions because of the new designs. On top of that, the team was efficient and effective throughout.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
Catholic Charities Boston is one of the largest social services Agencies in Massachusetts, providing support to thousands of families and people in need of food, shelter, living assistance, legal support, childcare, and education. My role is the Senior Director of Marketing
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire 3 Media Web?
We hired 3Media for a full redesign of our website, including rebrand, rewriting all the content, a restructure of site navigation, and an upgrade to our brand logo. We subsequently hired 3Media for a service contract and a digital advertising buy.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We are a complicated Agency that provides a lot of services and we needed a partner who could synthesize information and make it easy for all audiences to understand. 3Media's pitch presentation was straightforward yet personal. 3Media was also very competitive with pricing and was willing to work with us to fast track our project–other vendors gave us an estimate of 9-12 months for completion. We had our site launched within six.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We immediately dove into the design process after an initial discovery call and were very impressed with how the designer accurately captured a lot of ideas in a clean, modern way. We had weekly check-with a project manager and a creative team unit to discuss ideas and give feedback. Once the creative process winded down we moved to e-check-ins, which lasted until we got closer to launch. At that we picked up again with check-ins to talk through content migration, images, and to test forms and work through any adjustments.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We mainly worked with a project manager, designer, and writer. As we got closer to launch we worked with IT and throughout our service contract we work with 2-3 support reps.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I've launched over 10 websites in my career and this was by far the smoothest QA and roll out of a site I've experienced. The design has gotten such positive feedback and more importantly information is much easier for people to access. We see this most distinctly in our contact form submission which have increased over 40% pre-launch. We initially had opted to used the logo 3Media created as a secondary option to our primary logo, but it's been such a hit with the Agency and donors that we are in the process of updating our brand guidelines to make it our primary logo.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team was very communicative and fast paced, 3Media is very efficient and effective at meeting deadlines.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were very impressed by their design capabilities, willingness to collaborate, and creative ideas. We wanted a site that could feel approachable and that wouldn't intimate donors or clients that are not technologically savvy and we feel like we received a site that was so streamlined and easy to use but still feels modern and sharp.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
3Media has been a fantastic partner for Catholic Charities and we could not be happier with the experience.

I am the CFO of a UK/US biotech, working closely with a number of world leading academic institutions and developing a broad portfolio of new medicines.

We had a very old legacy website that was totally not fit for purpose. We wanted a big refresh but something that was very thoughtful, incremental, to allow us to build out our messaging over time.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We consulted widely in our network of other start-ups, institutional investors and financial and PR advisors. The 3Media team came highly recommended and impressed us all with a very clear understanding of our brief, the appointment of a focused team and great interaction and follow-up.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We went through a number of interactive sessions with the team to define what our needs were and what the options were to deliver them. We worked closely with the project lead and designers to test beta versions and optimise what we needed to achieve.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with two main team members - one from the corporate resource planning team to explore the main options available and then a project delivery lead who coordinated the product creation over the various iterations.

3 Media Web designed and developed a WordPress website for a town’s government administration. They built a directory of local businesses with profiles users can search and filter using various criteria.
The site was launched last month, and over 170 businesses signed up for the directory, showing positive community response. 3 Media Web delivered a high-quality product that exceeded the client’s expectations. The team was timely and on budget, and they were very responsive in their communication.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm on the economic development staff at a small-to-medium municipality's government administration.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
Our goal was to create a searchable and filterable online directory for businesses in our town to use in shop local campaigns.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web developed a WordPress website in three phases; the first was the design phase, where the team helped us flesh out what we needed the platform to do and worked through various mock-ups to see how users would interact with it. As they iterated on the design, we asked for changes.
From there, they went into a development and content creation phase. They implemented the website and helped us upload the content. Lastly, they launched the site in the third phase. The team also trained us to use, manage, and maintain the site.
The site contains business profiles with a set of tags that we sourced from the businesses that are part of the directory. Users can search by keyword or business name and filter by industry or business types, such as contractors, retailers, and restaurants and cafés.
Users can also search specifically for minority, women, or veteran-owned businesses. We requested 3 Media Web to add badges to each profile to indicate whether an underrepresented interest group owns the business. Users can also mix any of the fields in their search. Another feature of the site is that it plots all businesses on a map, so each business profile shows their location and storefront.
What is the team composition?
I mostly interacted with Sarah (Project Manager), and we also worked with a designer and some back office teammates.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
We were referred to them by someone we work with.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from May–August 2022.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had over 170 businesses sign up for the directory, which attests to our community's excitement for this source and the quality of the product. We're still trying to get a sense of the site's impact because we only launched last month. Still, our team was happy with 3 Media Web's work. The design and the final product exceeded our expectations.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
They delivered on budget and met our expected launch date. We used email and Zoom to communicate with them, and they were very responsive to our questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed with the finished product; 3 Media Web's work speaks for itself.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could provide a bit more guidance about what to expect at launch, especially for clients like us that are less technically literate than others.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

3 Media Web drove the process, so it didn’t take a lot of proactive work on my part. We were so in tune with one another that there was never an issue, and I suspect it has something to do with their philosophy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We needed their team’s design expertise.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web’s initial work for us centered around website redesign to support our rebranding efforts. Their team conducted thorough research to determine the trends and themes we could apply to our new platform. Upon collating the results, 3 Media Web then finalized the color scheme, font styles, and other design elements that they integrated into our updated WordPress platform.
Apart from implementing a new tech stack to update the UX and format of our existing website, 3 Media Web devised a 3-D viewing option for the images displayed on our website. We provided them with the rest of the site content, which we needed to be featured on the platform.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Kelsey (Senior Project Manager) and a web designer.

3 Media Web designed and developed a website that provides customers information on local aid programs. They identified key elements of the client's identity and crafted an engaging, clean, welcoming design.
Working on a rapid timeframe, 3 Media Web launched the website ahead of schedule, pleasing the client. Their ability to combine the information of two websites into one stood out, as does their professionalism. Their ongoing support services demonstrate their customer-service-oriented approach.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for an employment-support related nonprofit. I’m the VP of marketing facilities and IT.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We had two separate websites — one for our affiliate agency and one for a program that our affiliate agency ran — that we needed to combine on WordPress. There was a tight timeframe of just under two months to design and develop this new website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our affiliate is a private nonprofit organization that serves low-income individuals through community block grants. Their programs include healthcare, child care, tax preparation, and nutrition.
The purpose of the website was to educate people on the programs in their area and how they can access them. It’s an informational website, and we added a bar that gives the reader updated information.
Robbie (Former Creative Director) asked us questions to understand what we were looking for and how our affiliate organization viewed themselves. He then came back with an unbelievably designed homepage. It portrayed the agency as very caring and philanthropic. We made minor tweaks and quickly moved on to work with Jenny (Senior Project Manager) to develop the site. The main step of that process was our approval of a site map.
What is the team composition?
The kick-off meeting was with Mark (Founder & Chief Helper). He introduced us to Robbie and Jenny, who are very efficient and supportive. They display amazing turnaround times and response times. We have an answer to an email within a few hours. This makes the process very easy for us.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
Prior to this project, we brought them to maintain a different website, so we were already familiar with them when they submitted a proposal. We selected their team because the fee was within our budget and they had a positive track record with us. I requested references for all the other bidders and asked direct questions. I got rave reviews from all of 3 Media Web’s references, including one person who responded to me while on vacation in Florida.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $50,000–$100,000 with them on the website design.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together on the website since April 2021. 3 Media Web has been providing maintenance since the launch in late June.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
3 Media Web had to accomplish a miracle, as we had only a short window of time to get a new website, and we’ve had a lot of positive feedback. Even though it’s only been up for less than a month, the people who’ve gone to the website have given great responses. From our board of directors and staff to our customers, everyone has found the site easy to navigate and informative. The design is clear and works well. There are no glitches.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re excellent and really professional. They stick to a schedule and deliver within the promised timeframe. We mostly communicate through email, Google Docs, phone calls, and Google Meet. Since the initial meetings, we’ve primarily spoken through email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their number one characteristic is their listening. When I saw our website design, it was clear that they listened to everything we said. It was amazing. I’m also amazed by how efficient they are.
Additionally, the people that they have working for them are unbelievable, including the website support coordinator/junior project manager that maintains our other website that 3Media Web came onboard to service a year ago. Everyone on their team is courteous, customer-service oriented, and professional.
Their professionalism stands out — the fact that they do what they say they’re going to do is great. They deliver on time with a smile. It’s a refreshing change for us. All their staff members are excellent, knowledgeable, and professional. I don’t think that you can ask for more than that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t say at the moment because they’ve done everything right.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to 3 Web Media’s advice because they know their stuff. They’ll work with you and listen to you. You can take or leave their suggestions, but they’re knowledgeable in their field.

transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO for a brand protection and consumer engagement company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We were going under a complete re-branding and re-messaging in our business. We also wanted to update our website with a new look, feel, and navigation. In addition to that, we wanted to be able to share the new look of our company.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a new website on WordPress for us. In terms of features, it has multiple pages based on different product lines that we offer, and we wanted to ensure that our global footprint was properly represented on it, which it is. It also has a good investor page we wanted because we’re a publicly-traded company, so we needed to make sure that investors could get updated information about our business.
The next step for us is a complete social media marketing campaign as an ongoing effort to ensure we’re making brand awareness for our business in the marketplace. We’re a business-facing company, so we’re focusing on LinkedIn, Google Ads, and a little bit of Facebook.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact has consistently been Mary (Account Manager), but we’re also working with Stephanie (Senior Digital Marketing) for the social media and advertising efforts.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
We were going through one of the websites they developed. We were impressed with it, and it turned out that 3 Media Web were the builders for that site, so we decided on going with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $100,000 with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s all about the new look of our site. Everybody’s been happy, and we’ve been getting high feedback. The next phase or success measurement will be more metric-driven since it’s going to be about the social media marketing campaign.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
We had regularly scheduled meetings during the development process; now that we moved into the social media marketing phase, we’ll have meetings twice a month. We have overall good communication with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think it’s great that they’re a full-service firm; they’re capable of doing web development, design, and social media campaigns — that’s a great feature.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
Any advice for potential customers?
I recommend going with a full-service company in case you’re going for a complete re-branding project. If you go with a single company to provide all those efforts, you’ll avoid any time of hand-off confusion throughout the process.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
LiveAction is a network performance management software provider. We work with Fortune 500 companies to help give them analytical and personal insights into their networks. Our platform is meant to help organizations reduce their operational overhead and any important downtimes. We help them optimize the strength of their network, something really important these days where the networks are strained from the amount of remote activity.
I’m the director of demand generation within the company, and I oversee our demand generation, content marketing, website, digital business development, and marketing operations.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
When I joined LiveAction, my first order of business was to take on our website and create a better, more optimized experience for our users and prospects.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web originally came in to help us with digital auditing. They evaluated our SEO optimization and best practices tracking conversion. We put that on pause and quickly went to rebuild our entire website — we didn’t want to optimize our current experience because we felt it would be a waste of time.
What 3 Media Web did for the last five months was to rebuild our website. They also acted as our support arm as we got rid of our internal web resources to help maintain and troubleshoot our existing website. They needed to maintain it up and running while they were building the new experience.
The new site was built in WordPress. One of the key features that I wanted it to have was a flat and friendly design. I also required them to create pillar page content assets with SEO-friendly content. I wanted to create stronger navigation and graphical representation of our business and products to make us look like a modern software company. Ultimately, I wanted our website to become the foundation where we could build and expand our offers, start to go after best practices, and be able to do some more creative and out-of-the-box things with it.
What is the team composition?
Kelsey (Senior Project Manager) was our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
My boss heard about 3 Media Web through some people who had worked with them before. We had already engaged with them for digital consulting, so I reviewed their portfolio work and decided to choose them to kick off the project and get it going.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $55,000–$60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first engaged with 3 Media Web in December 2020 for the digital services, and the website project started in January 2021. We launched the site at the beginning of May 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been measuring the conversions, traffic, performance, bounce rates, and Lighthouse scores, and we're beyond pleased with 3 Media Web’s work. I’ve done many site launches in the past and, in some cases, we had to roll back to the old site. This project was one of the most painless website experiences I’ve ever had.
3 Media Web was on top of everything, and any little bug we found was fixed almost instantaneously. They were very responsive, and the project went really well.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
3 Media Web used a project management tool, but I don’t remember how it was called. We had a bi-weekly check-in, and Kelsey had her Calendly open. If anything urgent came up, I would just put our time on her calendar, and we would meet to work through whatever we needed to do pretty quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
3 Media Web’s overall responsiveness was impressive. They offered very quick turnaround times and knew what they were doing. They were very flexible to accommodate what we were looking for, even if there were slight changes to the original scope.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing 3 Media Web could improve on — I was very pleased with their work. If anything, there were little things I would have changed, but I wouldn’t even really complain about them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Definitely work with 3 Media Web. They’re very knowledgeable and partner-centric, and they’ll be very invested in you — your success is their success.
Focus on being on top of your timeline, know what that is, and make sure that it’s well documented and communicated to them. If they know your timeline and what you want, they can make your project happen.
