I'm the CEO of Somco Software, a company that develops embedded and cross-platform software and firmware for regulated industries like medical devices. We offer end-to-end solutions from UX/UI design to firmware and long-term product maintenance.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire 2s.design to accomplish for your business?

We hired 2s.design to build a physical prototype for a medical-grade laser treatment device.

What was the scope of their involvement?

2s.design was responsible for market research, enclosure design, consultation on materials, and in-house preparation of the prototype. The team delivered CAD files, 3D visualization, 2D mock-ups, physical models, technical documentation, and a photoshoot session.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were impressed with the physical, tangible prototype that we could wire up and show to our customers. Our customers were impressed by the project's detail, avant-garde design, and how nicely it fit the design. We also saw more inquiries and visible interest from people coming to our booth at tradeshows.

How did 2s.design perform from a project management standpoint?

2s.design delivered on time. The team was precise, direct, and certainly knew their craft. We communicated via in-person meetings and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

2s.design had a lot of in-house knowledge and skills about design, technical aspects, production, and making items compelling.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn't think there was anything they could improve on.
