• App re-design. We had one app that we wanted to pivot and revamp the UI/UX. 16Pixel took a lead on the UI/UX changes accomplished this and helped us launch our new app.

We had an existing app (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/luci-soon-science-inc/id1608114955) that we wanted to pivot into a new app targeting different user groups and different UI/UX. The initial app was very gamified (almost game-like), and we wanted to change it to a style that is still gamified but less game-like. The work entailed coming up with new UI/UX based on the general mock-up provided and the design system. The deliverable was a design that could be used to implement and build the app.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest was being able to get the redesign done quickly so that we could launch the first version of the app within a month. After that was ongoing quick support, where turnaround is less than 2 days.

They delivered the project on time. We mainly used Figma to communicate project details, as well as Discord, and sometimes live virtual meetings. We had more regular meetings initially and then switched to more asynchronous and messenger-based ones once the bulk of the project was delivered.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think there are a lot of agencies that give agencies a bad name... They want to maximize profit, quality, and care drops. I have been personally burned by a few agencies that have great ratings on sites like Upwork, where, when you actually work with them, it's a lot of talk without delivering (overpromise, under-deliver). I think the main issue with companies like that is that the founder/ CEO is not a technical person himself and is mainly a business person who doesn't fully understand how things work. Jatin, on the other hand, is the founder and a very good designer (so in a sense technical), and he understands the scope of the problem and knows how to utilize his teammates, whom he has trained well. And if there are any issues, Jatin can personally jump in to actually improve or fix it. Many business leaders (who are not technical or don't have the skills themselves) can't do that, and you are usually just left with false promises, and it wastes time and money trying to chase them down. Jatin will sell and deliver, whereas others are mainly focused on just selling. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something 16pixel could have done differently?

I think the only room for future improvement is that Jatin could connect us directly with the teammate working on our project. I think this wasn't really needed for us because Jatin was closely involved, but as the company grows in the future, this could be helpful.

I’m the CEO of WiserNotify, a software company. We provide dynamic, interactive notifications for websites, displaying real-time social proof such as live visitor counts, sales, and customer reviews to build trust and enhance brand credibility.

We hired 16pixel to redesign our entire SaaS product from the ground up. The goal was to improve the user experience, visual design, and overall flow, as well as the user activation rate.

16pixel worked on the full product redesign. Their scope included user research, wireframes, and final UI design for both desktop and mobile. After the redesign, we saw better user engagement and a smoother onboarding flow. More users completed the setup without support. The new UI also helped reduce churn and improved feature discovery. Our team got positive feedback from both new and existing users.
