Objective:
We sought to enhance the Login Portal by elevating the visual design and user interface for both desktop and mobile, creating a more professional, user-friendly, and credible experience tailored to members. The class registration process required streamlining to optimize the user flow, increase attendance, and boost revenue. 
A Membership Verification component was needed to enable seamless verification of membership status, ensuring that only eligible users could access membership discounts. The Certified Builder Application needed to be migrated to BIAW.com, eliminating the need for third-party hosting, reducing extra logins, and simplifying data management for the Certified Builder Manager. 
Additionally, the subscription service for contracts needed improvement to streamline transactions, automate builder membership verification, and prevent user drop-off after the login screen. To improve navigation and accessibility, we wanted to restructure the website and build a comprehensive mega menu to organize content more effectively and enhance the user experience.

The site was design was complex from an information architecture and content perspective and required a lot of custom scripting to accomplish. Seattle New Media were able to build an elegant and dynamic backend managed by a simple CMS, going above and beyond to make sure the site was robust.

Our website was first developed on Wix and we did a redesign of the website and wanted to migrate over to Webflow. So we wanted to find a company that could develop our site for us on webflow using the updated design we had on figma.

We looked online for some Webflow experts and had actually decided on someone else but he was no longer available for the timeframe we needed, so he posted our listing on a forum for other webflow experts and so Seattle New Media contacted us along with a slew of other companies.

When looking through them all Seattle New Media was one of the companies that we shortlisted and seemed to have more established presence. When we interviewed with them they agreed they could work within our short time confines, our budget, and they also set up a slack channel for us so we could have easy communication with them.

We started off with going over the general project timeline and the budget. We had designed our website on figma so that was delivered and we gave them an overview of the figma file and answered any questions. The first milestone was having the pages reviewed as they were ready on web and the next was the mobile version and finally the final site but with QA happening at same time.

The project manager was our main point of contact and there was also single web developer we also were in contact with via slack.

Our C-levels are very happy with the updated website and we have received feedback. Our new site on Webflow is a lot clearer than our previous website.

They were able to work within a short time constraint and kept communication with us active if we needed to adjust anything.

We had an instance where we gave feedback and it appeared to not have been addressed and so we spent time again qa-ing it, Seattle New Media informed us there was an issue with Webflow and did not charge us for those additional dev hours spent fixing it. So that was appreciated and we hope that the issue with webflow saving gets resolved!

The work consisted of three different areas of operation, and SNM helped us with all three. Part 1, we had to develop an informative landing page we use for marketing campaigns.

Part 2 was the development of an intuitive online order form that incorporated our weird pricing logic, and Part 3 was to integrate the customer input with Hubspot. We used Webflow, Airtable, and Hubspot - from the mvp to the live launch, SNM executed and delivered on time, every step.

Our new online ordering experience has generated many new orders in the first few weeks - orders that we would not have gotten otherwise. SNM gave us the tools to manage state-by-state growth, and we feel confident our new tech will scale nationally.

We set up a Slack channel for transactional communication, but what we found most valuable was SNM's willingness to get on a meeting and talk things out. Their work style makes it easy to innovate because they are focused on helping us achieve our business objective, not just getting a web page done.

There are always issues, especially when trying to do something that has never been done before. SNM displayed innovative thinking and problem-solving skills throughout the process. I can't think of an area they need to improve on - they are already thinking of improvements before I am.

Our goal was to launch a beautifully designed, easy to navigate portal that would intuitively direct our users to more content.

This was no easy task as we were developing assets in real-time and had a very tight timeline to hit by the end of the year. Our site has already seen a huge uplift in traffic and engagement based on the suggestions on UI and layout provided by the team!
