Webflow development for Saas Company
Rasgo’s founders, Jared and Patrick, were looking for ways to handle the complex, highly inefficient process of transforming raw data into training-ready features. Their passion for data science and machine learning and how these could transform the world of business paved the way for Rasgo.
The team at Rasgo approached Seattle New Media to help resolve some of their website’s problems; from handling a complex resource page with lots of categories, redesigning their home and product pages, and ultimately a full restructure of the website. Akhil K Joseph on our team led this project to a very successful completion.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Project Manager at and we are a company that works with developing technologies to support the gaming landscape.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seattle New Media, and what were your goals?
Our website was first developed on Wix and we did a redesign of the website and wanted to migrate over to Webflow. So we wanted to find a company that could develop our site for us on webflow using the updated design we had on figma.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We looked online for some Webflow experts and had actually decided on someone else but he was no longer available for the timeframe we needed, so he posted our listing on a forum for other webflow experts and so Seattle New Media contacted us along with a slew of other companies.
When looking through them all Seattle New Media was one of the companies that we shortlisted and seemed to have more established presence. When we interviewed with them they agreed they could work within our short time confines, our budget, and they also set up a slack channel for us so we could have easy communication with them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We started off with going over the general project timeline and the budget. We had designed our website on figma so that was delivered and we gave them an overview of the figma file and answered any questions. The first milestone was having the pages reviewed as they were ready on web and the next was the mobile version and finally the final site but with QA happening at same time.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The project manager was our main point of contact and there was also single web developer we also were in contact with via slack.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our C-levels are very happy with the updated website and we have received feedback. Our new site on Webflow is a lot clearer than our previous website.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We used slack and had check-ins/updates about every other day and had video calls when needed to discuss anything.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were able to work within a short time constraint and kept communication with us active if we needed to adjust anything.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We had an instance where we gave feedback and it appeared to not have been addressed and so we spent time again qa-ing it, Seattle New Media informed us there was an issue with Webflow and did not charge us for those additional dev hours spent fixing it. So that was appreciated and we hope that the issue with webflow saving gets resolved!

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the VP of Growth for a rapidly growing venture-funded real estate appraisal company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seattle New Media, and what were your goals?
We faced a unique challenge to develop an online order experience, as it had never been done before in our industry due to product/pricing logic complexity. We hired Seattle New Media (SNM) because they have deep experience with solving business problems, not just developing web pages.
Our ecosystem includes Webflow, Airtable, and Hubspot; SNM helped us sort our business processes, integrate our tech, and provide a delightful customer experience. Our goals have been met; we are very satisfied with the work delivered by SNM, and we highly recommend them.
How did you select Seattle New Media and what were the deciding factors?
Factors in selecting SNM were listening skills, technical competency, problem-solving capabilities, can-do attitude, and good communication. It helps a lot that they are genuinely nice people and easy to get along with.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The work consisted of three different areas of operation, and SNM helped us with all three. Part 1, we had to develop an informative landing page we use for marketing campaigns.
Part 2 was the development of an intuitive online order form that incorporated our weird pricing logic, and Part 3 was to integrate the customer input with Hubspot. We used Webflow, Airtable, and Hubspot - from the mvp to the live launch, SNM executed and delivered on time, every step.
How many people from the Seattle New Media team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked primarily with Akhil and Rinju; we found them to be smart, competent, and responsive.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our new online ordering experience has generated many new orders in the first few weeks - orders that we would not have gotten otherwise. SNM gave us the tools to manage state-by-state growth, and we feel confident our new tech will scale nationally.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We set up a Slack channel for transactional communication, but what we found most valuable was SNM's willingness to get on a meeting and talk things out. Their work style makes it easy to innovate because they are focused on helping us achieve our business objective, not just getting a web page done.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They've shown great listening, communication, problem-solving skills, technical competency, and can-do attitude. Innovative thinking, and broad technical knowledge.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There are always issues, especially when trying to do something that has never been done before. SNM displayed innovative thinking and problem-solving skills throughout the process. I can't think of an area they need to improve on - they are already thinking of improvements before I am.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Chief of Staff and Marketing Executive at Rasgo, a feature engineering platform that transforms your existing data warehouse into a repository of fully contextual features.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seattle New Media, and what were your goals?
We originally hired Seattle New Media to design and develop a complex, layered resource page for our webflow website. We had a very rough blog template to begin and a variety of different resource types to share with our users. The ask was complex as it had different media and linked features, gated and ungated pages, and integrations with Hubspot and Salesforce. Our goal was to launch a beautifully designed, easy to navigate portal that would intuitively direct our users to more content.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online for webflow developers. After a brief 15 minute introduction, Seattle New Media, came to us not only with a cost-effective proposal but a rough mock of their vision and recommendation on how to create the page. We were blown away at how quickly they were able to put thoughts together and understand our ask in little time.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project was designed in figma using our established brand guidelines and it was developed in Webflow in just 3 short weeks!
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Seattle New Media provided us with a team of 2 people. Both were exceptional communicators making this a very seamless partnership.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Not only did the team exceed our expectations, but they also jumped right into another project for us to overhaul our entire homepage and product page! This was no easy task as we were developing assets in real-time and had a very tight timeline to hit by the end of the year. Our site has already seen a huge uplift in traffic and engagement based on the suggestions on UI and layout provided by the team!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Upon signing Seattle New Media, we created a joint slack channel, making them feel like a true part of our team. They were communicative and easy to work with. What I liked most was the constant check between work and hours spent, keeping us up to date on every detail each step of the way.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Seattle New Media just gets it! There was no hand-holding - ever. From when we briefed them to when we provided feedback writeups, we never had to over-explain anything. The team made suggestions that helped us to achieve what we set out to do!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None. We are looking forward to a longstanding partnership and support as our business grows.

I'm an artist that sells fine art direct to consumers and through galleries.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seattle New Media, and what were your goals?
I designed a website and store that I needed developed in webflow. I had several custom needs that webflow did not provide out of the box.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I posted on upwork with the tasks and needs for the project. Seattle New Media promptly sent in a proposal and was very quick to get on a call with me to understand the scope of the project and my needs.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Website to house archive of my work, a storefront to purchase available work, and multiple contact forms for commissions etc.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
2. A project manager and developer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The metrics I used to measure success for this project were...
- speed at which the project was completed
- prompt communication
- the parity between original designs and final production
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
There was clear and quick communication via Slack. I was able to keep track of different bugs/requests and was kept updated on their status.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
While a fairly straightforward project there were a few elements that were custom and a few that I didn't have enough tech knowledge to make a decision. The team provided their expertise to help inform my decision around certain vendors and platforms.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Online Encyclopedia Dev for Academic Research Group
“They are great with interpreting our needs and wants.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the assistant director of an academic center at UCLA. The center hosts a number of academic conferences and lectures every year and distributes scholarships and fellowships to students. The Center also manages several publications and research projects, many of which feature digital components.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seattle New Media?
We hired Seattle New Media to develop a website for The Archeological Gazetteer of Iran, which was spearheaded by a faculty member of the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at UCLA. He had a repository of physical media, including photographs, maps, and unpublished excavation reports. He wanted to digitize them to create an online encyclopedia of archeological sites of Iran.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our initial requests and goals included an ArcGIS map and encyclopedia catalog. An ArcGIS map would allow users to see the ancient borders of various empires and their geographic features, as well as demonstrate changes over time. The site also needed to be interactive so users could filter all archeological sites on the map via time period, location, and specific site features. On top of that, we wanted a regular encyclopedia catalog, where visitors could search alphabetically and by time period.
Meanwhile, we also needed a repository for images that users could view and download. We also wanted a bibliographic index of PDF files of both published and unpublished works that could be provided for free to viewers (copyright allowing). Seattle New Media handled all of this.
At present, the website has around two dozen archeological sites posted. We expect to have hundreds, if not thousands, of archeological sites when the project is completed — if it’s ever completed; archeologists always find new material. While the site is up, we’re still working with Seattle New Media for ongoing support and site updates.
What is the team composition?
We work with Erik (Co-Founder) and Joseph (Designer). The designer answers our day-to-day questions on the technical side of the project. Erik oversees the project and assists us with our big-picture goals.
How did you come to work with Seattle New Media?
We came across Seattle New Media through a colleague. Seattle New Media had reasonable pricing and seemed invested in this project. They were by far the most responsive group when we were shopping around for vendors. All of these were positive things for us, so we decided to engage them.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested around $12,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2020, and our engagement is ongoing. They designed and built the site through December 2020, and we had a fully functional site at the beginning of January 2021. From there, we worked with them through March 2021 to enhance the platform. After that, we had a public launch.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
To measure the success of the project, we’ve set milestones, and Seattle New Media has been great at hitting all of those objectives, which include the functioning prototype and the public launch. In terms of their abilities, they’ve proven that they understand what we’re trying to achieve. The Seattle New Media team is great at setting realistic goals in terms of timelines and milestones.
How did Seattle New Media perform from a project management standpoint?
They have excellent project management; they don’t overpromise and underdeliver. We’ve had weekly meetings with them to go over things during the development process. Now, we have monthly check-ins.
Moreover, their responsiveness is highly reassuring when it comes to managing the website; we know they’re monitoring and taking care of things. In addition, there’s never a time when we don’t get the attention we need. They also always send reminders if they need anything from us, keeping us on track.
To communicate, we have a channel on Slack, which works well. They’re incredibly responsive, answering questions within minutes. We use emails for larger discussions or if we have to include people who aren’t in the Slack channel. For instance, since we’re at UCLA, we have our internal IT services. Occasionally, we need to reach out to them to gain access to information or servers. As a result, we include them in our communication with Seattle New Media.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are great with interpreting our needs and wants. For instance, I don’t use the proper terminologies common for website development. That can be a huge communication barrier. Fortunately, Seattle New Media is great at converting our academic viewpoints into the digital language.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their billing system leaves something to be desired. For instance, when I explain exactly what I need on the invoices, they sometimes send me invoices that don’t have the proper terms and dates. I have to send those back and ask them to fix them.
For context, they use an online invoice generating system, which doesn’t always put the necessary information for UCLA to pay it. We know that this is a minor issue; it’s not a hurdle that can’t be overcome. Still, it would be nice if they correct it.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know your goals and expectations. Even though Seattle New Media can come up with good ideas, having a well-thought-out project and goals when you approach them will help you truly take advantage of their skills and time. They’re ready to hit the ground running, so come with solid ideas.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Director of Digital Marketing for a SaaS subscription platform that connects advisors with companies seeking board members.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seattle New Media?
Our website and landing pages were in dire need of a facelift with both the UI and the UX. We hired SNM to help with the auditing, planning, and building of the new interfaces on the front and backend of Webflow for the site and Unbounce for the landing pages.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The team at SNM were extremely responsive and proactive from the very beginning. They were clear with communication and confirming expectations. Their going above and beyond from the very first conversation is what led us to choosing them to help us with our projects.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We searched all over Upwork for qualified talent to help with Webflow site production and Unbounce landing page design/builders which proved to be very difficult. After a few discovery conversations regarding our needs and expectations, we're now in the process of exchanging deliverables and providing feedback on wireframes and design concepts.
We've yet to launch anything that SNM has produced, but I've been more than happy with their level of involvement and willingness to handle all of the curveballs I've thrown at them.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I've spoken with 4 people at SNM. I'm not sure their Titles, but 2 of the 4 seem as though they're the Founders/C-Level individuals.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We haven't launched anything yet, but are very pleased with the work SNM has produced so far which includes a wireframe of our website homepage and the beginnings of landing page design concepts.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
SNM has been very communicative over Slack and email. They're also willing and able to hop on the phone whenever needed for a quick clarification or chat, which is a breath of fresh air these days.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I've been very impressed with SNM's scrappiness. They've been able to deal with our ever-changing needs as we move through our ebbs and flows of business day-to-day.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only thing I'd recommend for the SNM team (which I haven't actually given them this feedback, so no knock on them) is to look into building out some sort of project management workflow in Asana (or similar) to give me a better idea of where the deliverables they're working on are at.
