• UX and workflow cleanup: fixed the core marketplace flows and made a practical UI/UX pass before launch
• Platform foundation: unified the user, account and company model, built a consistent API layer, set up a pre-production environment, and expanded multi-language support
• Architecture and admin tools: converted the codebase to a monorepo, built a separate internal admin app, and added a framework for background jobs
• Supplier bidding workflow: branded request documents with PDF versions, supplier and contact management, publishing projects for bids, secure supplier invitations, engagement tracking, bid submission, and award notifications
• AI document processing: connected our existing AI service so it extracts data from specs and bids, with team review and correction before anything is saved

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our engineer closed the critical security issues in the first phase, and we launched the platform publicly on schedule. Over five months he delivered every phase in scope, from launch readiness through new marketplace features, and our team now runs bidding and supplier management in the platform instead of manually. The clearest measure of success is that we converted the engagement to a full-time hire.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Yes, consistently. Natalie, our account manager, was responsive, proactive and easy to work with from start to finish. Anything we needed was handled quickly, so work never stalled. Our engineer broke every phase into clear deliverables, which made progress easy to track.

What was your primary form of communication with 10x Management?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The depth of their talent network and adaptability to our needs. The match they made for us was excellent: a senior engineer who thought like a technical leader and grew with our needs as the project expanded.

Are there any areas for improvement or something 10x Management could have done differently?

Very little. Their rates seemed on the higher end, but you get what you pay for. The quality of talent and the level of service were worth it.
