I'm the North American sales manager for Nawkaw corporation. We offer high-end architectural finishes for concrete and masonry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zivoke?

My company wanted to implement Salesforce. Once you buy the program from them, they leave you out to dry and don't help you at all. We had to hire Zivoke to do all the background setup and configurations of the software to make it work for our company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zivoke’s team went into our software and configured it the way we wanted. They did all the background work and made all the changes we needed. Since then, they have been working with our team. We have weekly meetings, and then they give us a training course on how to officially use the products and services.  Salesforce calls them implementation teams.

What is the team composition?

In every meeting, we have four different partners, but we only really talk to two of them.

How did you come to work with Zivoke?

One of our admins found them, and he recommended Zivoke. We looked at a bunch of different companies, and after our first meeting with them, we knew that they could efficiently do what we needed.

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested somewhere around $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working in December 2020, and we are still collaborating. They're helping us all the time, even though they've done more than what they said they were going to do.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Zivoke’s team is amazing, I cannot speak highly enough of them. They are precise with what we request. Whenever there is any trouble with Salesforce, we outline the problems and they fix them by the next day.

How did Zivoke perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through emails, Zoom, and their forum. They make every part of the process easy for me. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We are impressed by their response time and how happy they are to help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing they can improve on. They do everything we ask.

Any advice for potential customers?

Hire them and trust them. If they say they're going to do something, you can be sure that they're going to do it.

I’m a systems and operations manager for a nonprofit.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zivoke?

We had a really messy Salesforce operation that was basically unusable because there were so many duplicates. Every time someone wanted to search for a particular donor, there were three different versions with different donation information attached to each version. We hired Zivoke to clean up our Salesforce, deduplicate our database, and also change some of the configurations that we had in fields that were more suited to our presence.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We kicked everything off with a requirements gathering session so they understand our Salesforce issues and see what needs to be done. They’re doing our data deduplication, configuring changes, and training our staff. Originally it was just supposed to be a single project engagement, but since it has been such a long process they're doing other projects for us that are all related to Salesforce. 

What is the team composition?

There are 3–4 people. The CEO has been in contact with me since the beginning, but the developers assigned to our project change throughout the process.

How did you come to work with Zivoke?

Being a small nonprofit, we have a small budget. A lot of the other providers’ starting rates were double our budget. We were looking for smaller shops or any consultant that was in our budget, but still capable of completing the tasks we needed to be done. We talked to a couple of different individuals and companies, but we felt like Zivoke had the best handle on our issues.

How much have you invested with them?

So far we’ve spent $1,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in February 2019 and the work is still ongoing. The reason this project has gone on so long is that there have been a lot of dependencies on our end.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There were a few configuration changes that I think were just a matter of communication error, but they were willing to go back in and work through it again. For more boilerplate, less customized tasks, their work is definitely satisfactory the first time around.

How did Zivoke perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re incredibly responsive; I send an email and about 20 minutes later they’ll respond just to let me know that they’ve seen it. We don’t necessarily set deadlines because our work is very seasonal, so we’ve just let the project evolve naturally.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve gone above and beyond the original scope of the project. Their flexibility is the most impressive. They’re always willing to listen to an issue that we’re having as it comes up and work on it even if it isn’t strictly within the scope of our agreement. I get the feeling from them that they’re trying to get our sales force right and as issues arise from other areas they’re ready and able to jump on that problem and take it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think having a better project timeline at the beginning would be helpful, but I’m not sure how much we would stick to it.

Be clear in your communications; it helps to go into detail upfront rather than waiting until later.

Zivoke finished the project on time, meeting all requirements and every milestone along the way. They followed agile methodology to complete work.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had access to the developers during the kickoff stage and in weekly change meetings and technical advisory sessions. Working with Zivoke was like working with an internal team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Thanks to their detailed planning, Zivoke curtailed all risks that could have threatened the project. We found it exceptionally easy to work with their highly professional team.

We wanted to smoothly implement Salesforce Lightning.

We found them through a referral. We did not want to go through the agony of working with the wrong partner. We knew that would be a grave mistake from our past experiences.

They've done this kind of migration for many of their customers across the globe. We also spoke to a few of their reference customers. It was easy for us to choose them.

We were running the classic version of Salesforce, which was due for an upgrade. Zivoke helped us migrate from Classic to Lightning in order to implement an app for our internal use.

They planned and executed the whole migration seamlessly with minimal disruption to operations. They have become our go-to folks for anything digital.

I am the IT infrastructure manager of Lactalis Group, a producer of dairy products.

Our in-house quote-to-cash app software was aging and did not cater to our evolving needs. We engaged Zivoke to find a modernized solution.

What were your goals for this project?

We hoped to upgrade to the best-in-class configure price quote (CPQ) app and integrate it with our other billing, booking, and financial systems.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Internally, we shortlisted Oracle CPQ and Salesforce CPQ, and we eventually selected the latter. I asked many colleagues for recommendations of a Salesforce implementation company. Through those discussions, we learned of Zivoke, but we hesitated to choose them because they are New York-based and we were unsure of how we would handle the time zone and language differences. We were convinced of their abilities upon seeing that they top a list of reliable Salesforce implementation specialists. We scheduled a few meetings with them and decided to hire them.

We held a discovery session to review the requirements of our project. We assigned our technical team to work in tandem with Zivoke’s, which yielded a clutter-free CPQ environment.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new CPQ software saves our sales team more time and gives us more control over alliance partners. With Zivoke’s guidance, we managed to automate more workflows and reduce stock keeping units (SKU) and price books.

Our teams worked well together. Zivoke took an interest in understanding all of our operational processes, and they operated well within our stated timeline.

We were pleased from the first day. I was impressed with their proposal, the questions they asked, and the professionalism they exhibited. In addition to implementing our Salesforce CPQ, they have also improved our existing processes.
