I am the Principal Investigator of a large university neuroscience research lab.

The lab website had become outdated and almost non-functional, and we required a complete rebrand, including a new logo.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I searched online for local web developers and interviewed three. We went with Ziko Media because of their enthusiasm and good ideas.

We had several Zoom meetings to discuss goals and design parameters. The project was implemented using WordPress, and included teaching me enough about the software to manage editing going forward.

The entire project was done by one person at Ziko Media.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We're not trying to sell anything, so outcomes will be difficult to quantify, and the site has only been up for a few days. But Twitter has been quite active with colleagues praising the new site.

For communication we used Zoom calls, which occurred weekly near the end of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I felt from the beginning that Abbas Khatamian from Ziko Media and I were on the exact same wavelength, which is especially impressive since he had never created an academic website before. I asked for a number of unusual features, which I later learned were hardly plug-and-play issues in WordPress. But he figured out a way to do everything I had in mind. I'm also very happy about the handholding that occurred in the last few days before the site went live. Their team has never become frustrated with our increasingly picky edit requests. It was a very enjoyable and productive experience!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Things may have been slightly slow to get started, although once it did things ramped up really quickly.

We wanted a great looking website, including all the information about us, our products (pictures, description), and the way customers can contact us. This website had to be in both Canada's official languages (English and French)

We had seen some final works of Ziko Media company, so the quality of their products was the reason to select this company.

We contacted them, explained what type of website we were looking for including the details. We received a lot of good suggestions from them and also they kept us informed all the way to the end of the project.

We wanted to increase the clicks per view, increase brand awareness. Get more traffic on our website and then eventually into our stores. We needed to have a strong marketing campaign to attract our customers through these avenues.

Our goal was to increase our sales by creating a strong, attractive campaign that would attract customers to our site, increase our brand awareness and increase traffic flow into our stores. Our campaign had to have a clear and focused target audience with an attractive ad campaign.

After doing some research, we came across some of Ziko's other work. Liked what we saw and set up a meeting to further explore. We found the company very focused and able to deliver what our company wanted to achieve. They provided a clear and effective strategy to execute the plan.

We had many meetings to clearly explain our industry, what our goals where with this project and what we wanted to achieve. The company went through it and presented their suggestions on how to achieve this. We fine tuned some and rolled it out.

Its ongoing, but we have seen increased in clicks per view, website traffic and traffic into our stores.

Very easy to communicate with, quick to understand our needs and respond promptly. Worked very efficiently with the timelines given.

They're very knowledgeable and have good work ethics. We have a very good and strong working relation that helped make this campaign so successful and allows us to have an ongoing relationship.

I own and operate a Private tutoring and Home School program. We provide services to schools, private individuals and serve as a testing site for universities and private programs. My primary tasks include Marketing and Consulting with families about our different programs. I also teach some of the upper level classes.

We selected this vendor after interviewing several companies and on the recommendation of another business partner. They mentioned that Ziko Media was exceptional in their communications. They told our company that their experience had been very efficient and affordable. Our experience has been the same.

They build our website. Oversee all updates and changes. Provide hosting and security SEO and Blog training.

We were put in touch with one rep who saw the entire process thru. He still manages our support issues through Ziko Media.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Immediately we noticed an increase in calls from Google searches. The website was clean and efficient. The color schemes and themes were very much representative of our business ideals and image. We absolutely LOVE their expedience in communications. It really helps that their rep knows us and understands our business model. Our operating costs are slightly lower but the quality is much higher then our previous site. The response rates have been better as well. We have renewed with Ziko Media and will continue to do so in June of this year.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

There was some collaboration in terms of content, deadlines were clearly outlined and met. At the onset, we actually had a family emergency that made it difficult to work on the content with Zeko Media, but their professional and personal business ethics helped support and make our situation far more convenient. We did not experience any issues what so ever. In fact Ziko Media was very helpful in reaching our goals. We used a few different tools like Google Docs to communicate back and forth.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Personal touches. The efficient and clear communication. The timely response and implementation of our Covid19 changes. The quality of care and support at Ziko Media makes them an excellent vendor to use and support.
