Prexo Mobile App
Prexo is an app that allows users to keep track of the US President's executive orders.
We sought to deliver a clean, easy-to-use interface that focuses on content.
When Zetaton was approached to create an app to make Executive Orders more accessible we knew right away that this app needed to be self-sufficient to administer but also interactive and user friendly. The data itself is publicly available so the app simply needed to format the data and make it searchable. With our simple to use UI/UX the user can easily search by Order, topic or keyword. For those who want to comment we included an account creation feature to allow users to post their thoughts about Executive Orders.

Those who know will tell you that monitoring a large number of oil wells is a daunting challenge. Wells are often located in remote locations in geologic formations that are constantly changing. Unico Well Analytics System GMC® is an industry leader in remote monitoring of oil wells. While there are many ways to access the data provided by this system Unico needed a way to put the data in the hands of geologists on the move. Zetaton created an app that can connect remotely to well control systems in oil fields around the globe, retrieve data and generate visual reports and charts securely and with a high degree of reliability. The app allows the users to connect to a Unico drive or device over Modbus TCP RTU, request a report data, and display the status of the device in a graphical or tabular format”

Mobile App Development for Relationship Coaching Platform
“Their team is well-run and has executed ahead of schedule in this project.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Tend Task, a company that develops mobile apps that we use in conjunction with tech-enabled relationship coaching.
What challenge were you trying to address with Zetaton?
We hired them to revamp our mobile app based on the user feedback we had received from a previous version. Our goal was to streamline the UI and enable users to invite other users into teams within the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Zetaton has rebuilt our app, doing backend work to enable new features. Our app is an organizational tool that couples can use to create equitable relationships and shared partnerships. The Zetaton team added a comprehensive database of tasks, fixed an issue we had, and streamlined the interface to make it more user-friendly.
Within the app, users can create an account and have the option to build a team; part of the update Zetaton did was to enable team-building. Users can invite anyone they'd like to share the app with. Once they've added the person, they appear as a team member, and users can add them to customized lists to organize household tasks.
For example, users can assign laundry chores like sorting, washing, and folding to three different team members. The task database Zetaton added includes an autocomplete feature. This way, if users search for a task, it shows up for them, so they don't have to come up with their own terminology for their customer lists.
Zetaton has used React Native and GitHub for the update. The team has worked with our previous developer, who acts as our project manager. She's provided Zetaton with extensive direction and support through Figma and given them clear screen designs.
We're currently in the project's second phase, where the team is adding back features that had been successful in the previous version of the app. They've completed the features and uploaded them to testing sites such as TestFlight. Next, they'll take care of bug fixes. We're also negotiating maintenance after they complete phase two.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with two developers and a project lead.
How did you come to work with Zetaton?
I found them through my previous developer, who connected with Zetaton when she needed greater support to have a more comprehensive team that could manage the project more quickly and efficiently.
How much have you invested with them?
We've invested $6,000 so far. The overall scope of the project will be $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our previous developer outsourced Zetaton for the first phase of the project. We started working directly with them in September 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Phase one’s full front- and backend shift has been very successful and received a positive response from our user base. However, since phase two isn’t live yet, and the full functionality isn’t available, we can’t assess measurable outcomes yet.
How did Zetaton perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re extraordinarily organized, and their process is very efficient. Moreover, their team is well-run and has executed ahead of schedule in this project.
The team communicates very clearly with my project manager and me. I’m in contact with them primarily through my project manager, who holds regular meetings with Zetaton and keeps me informed. This approach is more efficient because she’s tech-savvy and can assess the progress much better than I can. Still, Zetaton has been very responsive whenever I have questions for them directly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed by Zetaton’s transparency. I appreciate how they’ve broken each phase into sprints and given us updates on each sprint’s progress. As a result, we haven’t had any surprises, which sets them apart from other development teams I’ve worked with in the past.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing they need to improve at this stage; I’m satisfied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d advise having very clear and measurable milestones, which is true of any collaborative venture. With a development team like Zetaton, you should ensure that the developers have all the information and tools they need to avoid miscommunication.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a clothing company with several stores across the US.
What challenge were you trying to address with Zetaton?
Since we have several locations, we needed to do the inventory and ensure everything was well-reflected in each store so we wouldn’t have to do manual tracking.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Zetaton has developed our e-commerce website from scratch using Shopify. We already had our logo, but we worked on the site’s color scheme because the logo was just black and white. Initially, we told them what we wanted, and they focused on development.
We still contact them for any issues or questions. Additionally, we plan to start with marketing services once we finish with the inventory.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with three people, including a main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Zetaton?
Someone recommended them. We had a consultation to explain what we needed to do, and they made us feel like it was an easy project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in March 2022, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
At the moment, we’re focused on fixing all the inventory, but the functionality is great. The website works perfectly fine, and we haven’t had problems with it. Everything is connected; all the shipping is automatically calculated, so we don’t have to worry about that.
How did Zetaton perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always in touch. Moreover, the team is always engaged, and they deliver on time. We’ve experienced delays with other web development companies, but Zetaton has done an excellent job with deadlines.
We mainly communicate through Zoom because we wanted to keep it as simple as possible.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their time efficiency is outstanding, and they’re able to perform exactly what we want, which is pretty unique in that space. Moreover, they’re affordable; the prices aren’t over the top.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to my mind; everything has been perfect.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust them; they’ll do the job.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of a mobile app company and event venue company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Zetaton, and what were your goals?
I needed help testing and launching new features of the app I had been developing as it had been a while since our last update.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I was referred to Zetaton by my previous app developer. I was looking for someone with experience, knowledge in the feild and had a decent price.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We retested the entire app looking for bugs and UI/UX issues with the current launch as well as new features which needed a little tweaking to make correct. We also had to merge content from different builds and developers into the app.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with a project manager, Andy/Wyatt, as well as a developer. Jehad, and the owner Zaid.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We removed a lot of bugs and issues with the current build which has made the user experience better.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They were extremely easy to contact. Worked within my timeline. Always available to meet and discuss any issues or concerns I had. They always sent me the bug report so that I could assess any actual issues before working.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I loved their response time and the fact that they were dedicated to getting the app correct and that I wasn't solely talking with a random rep. Many meetings included Zaid, the owner, which showed me that they were dedicated to my project
They made sure that the correct people that needed to be on the meeting whether it was the developer or UI designer or whomever, was on the call so that they could ask the questions directly and not back and forth between different departments which could lead to miscommunication.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think we had some issues using verbage. This is a pretty niche area and my verbiage asking what I wanted was off a lot so I think more questions asking what I meant may have been helpful to reduce any miscommunications.

Sydetasker is an online service marketplace that connects Users in need of "at home" services to verified, skilled, and local Taskers while also providing a secure payment & review system. I am the Co-Founder & CEO of Sydetasker. I run the day to day operations/sales and decide the future features that the development team will construct.
For what projects/services did your company hire Zetaton, and what were your goals?
We hired Zetaton to create our custom software for the Sydetasker iOS, Android, & Web applications. Zetaton also created our custom company dashboard to monitor and control all activities on the Sydetasker platform. Our goals were to create a seamless process where customers can post any job they need completed and get it completed securely through our platform. We needed to make it a very easy-to-understand process because a lot of our customers are older than 40 years old where they are not as embedded in the use different technologies. Our main goal is to let the software to do as much of the work as possible to collect revenues and maintain a good user experience for both Posters (Paying Customers) and Taskers (Independent Contractors).
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I selected Zetaton because the founder, Dr. Zaid Altahat, has much experience in the computer science & development space. He is very trustworthy and transparent with his work. Also, Zetaton is reasonably priced, has great UI/UX design to make customers enjoy using the software, and once I met the team, I quickly realized they are very hard & dedicated workers.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Sydetasker is a mobile & web software platform that connects people who needs different tasks completed to verified Taskers who have their own Tasker profiles to describe the work they can perform for customers. First, we created an outline for the product we wanted to create. We got the main functions that we needed and connected with Stripe - our payment platform to find out all that we needed to know before development started. The developers used Flutter, Algolia, and Firebase.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with at least 6 different people from Zetaton. I currently work with a scrum master. There are lead developers; one for web & one for mobile. There is a Quality Analyst as well. Then there were backend developers. I also worked with a Business Analyst as well who helped with cultural differences and presentation of the product.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have a working product within 1.5 years of starting development. It is a very complex product with a good amount of features. I am satisfied as we have had some very happy customers with little to no guidance use our app.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines?
Dr. Altahat is the communicator between the client and the development team. Then there is a scrum master who is in charge that speaks directly with the client and Dr. Altahat about all front-end issues and the most important aspects of the development. It works well. We communicate via Slack and have our stories set up on Atlassian/Jira. For timelines, we are making sprints about every 2 weeks for web/mobile.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I find most impressive about Zetaton; the dedication and tenacity the team puts into solving issues - big or small. They do not stop working until the problem is solved. They also have a great understanding of the User's logic when they use software applications like Sydetasker, which helps the development process a lot because I do not have that knowledge/experience.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They could improve on their uniqueness of web design. Also hitting timelines can be improved upon, but we are getting better as we keep working together.
