I am a crypto trader with over five years of experience in the market. I have been successful in achieving stable profits in the crypto market. So I wanted to transfer this knowledge into the bigger project.

The request was to design and develop a Web3 platform where people can buy NFT, trade it and get recurring income, integrate it with the Binance blockchain, and creating NFT artwork.

Additionally, they were fully involved into my idea on the discovery stage and helped me to improve it during our initial conversations.

The legal negotiation was simple and clear, we decided on developing the whole project on a time and material basis but they gave me an initial ballpark estimate so I could manage with the budget. Service package was a time and material development of design, code, NFT artwork and deployment. Recurring demo calls, and workshops.

Project is a react web app where people can mint NFTs of different grades based on Binance blockchain (solidity contracts), trade it on the marketplace inside the app, and get weekly payments during the time they keep the NFT. We also have a blog, tool for article creation (Firecms), and custom payments management tool. NFTs stored on Interplanetary file system (IPFS)

The vendor's team consisted of 1 UI/UX designer / illustrator, 2 full-stack JavaScript developers, a manual QA tester, and a project manager. Also their account manager was always in touch.

We are currently on the marketing stage and bringing first client, so the main deliverables right now is a project developed within budget and timeline with all the features I initially planned and even some tiny extra additions. They also have created creative NFTs arts for the project. I also have all designs in figma

The first two months of the engagement were focused on workshops and the discovery phase, as we were iterating on the design and features, and establishing the scope of the project. After that, we transitioned to a format where I was less involved and we had demo calls every two weeks. We were using slack and zoom for communications. The project management was outstanding, and I was kept informed about the project's progress and expected outcomes at all times.

The company is relatively small and cozy which I really liked. Founders are former developers. They were transparent about budgets and operations and were always responsive. I liked that all team members were attentive to details, they were bringing their ideas often, were very proactive

Hard to say, this was my first experience working with outsourcing software development company but they did it great.

Yojji completed the assignment satisfactorily and is continuing on retainer for additional assistance. The product has been highly accepted by our clientele since its launch. Previously, all of our apps were created manually; now, 25% are done so via software.

We had regular meetings with Yojji and frequent communication with him via Microsoft Teams. They were prompt in explaining the criteria to us in case there was any mistake or misunderstanding. Yojji has really good code. Our sprint-based delivery plan included frequent software releases, and the product was well-written and refined over several revisions.

Honestly, we’ve had a great experience with them. Although they didn’t offer the cheapest services, we’ve been very happy with their results.

The results are excellent. Yojji is well-organized, helping us manage roadmap and development matters, separately. Before they were all mixed up, but now we have two working groups. One is dedicated to long-term projects, while the other is focused strictly on development.

Yojji LTD's team exhibits many strengths. The developers they have based in our office are frequently checked on by their staff. I appreciate that. The developers are productive and capable. We save money because they don’t have a high personnel rotation.

They assisted us in developing our technology partners and platform for the initial phase of the project. They obtained the specifications, designed the layout, and collaborated with us to comprehend our difficulties.

Clinicians can access the web-based application to review patient data. The work was divided into two parts. The first was a screen where patients could enter their information, which was subsequently transferred to our cloud software. The other side was using our algorithm, which was used to notify the physicians and provide them with a summary that allowed them to log in and see the patient's state.

We also made use of several already-existing platforms and received assistance from their own tech staff. We used Heroku for the backend and had Postmark, Twilio, and PagerDuty integrated as well. Additionally, their backend team provided assistance to us in configuring the complete product. We intend to collaborate with them once more on a more ambitious project if we can pick up the pace.

There were times when we had a clear view of how we wanted the product to look, and they came back and made small iterations that created a wow factor. They delivered on time and the quality of the work was really good. We were happy with the results of the product and the interaction with the team.

We were very happy with their project management. The project manager was very hands-on and there for us 24/7 despite operating in a different timezone. We mostly used Asana and Slack to communicate, so we never felt there was a lag in communication.

Their expertise was impressive. We only had to talk to 1–2 people to take our requirements and they came back with amazing solutions. They captured our vision perfectly and they went above and beyond with their services.

We had some changes in the requirements that took some time, but I didn’t hold them accountable for that because we had to change some of the items in the scope. However, it would’ve been helpful if they considered that 2–3 weeks lag time. Other than that, it was a very great experience and we plan on working with them again.

Overestimate hourly task estimates for newer development / R&D tasks such as AI implementation and API development, as we can encounter many unknowns. It would be better to allocate more hours for tasks rather than less.

I am Software Development Director at CSI Helsinki Oy, located in Helsinki, Finland. We specialize in Legal Practice Management software.

For what projects/services did your company hire Yojji, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop mobile and web applications to extend our legal practice software, "CSI Lawyer." The application (mobile, web, backend, and admin) should be developed using technologies and architecture that are not bound to any specific cloud provider and/or database.

Mobile apps should work on multiple devices like iOS, Android, etc. Software development and architecture should take into account security, scalability, and best practices in various technologies used for developing such kinds of applications.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found the vendor through Clutch, and we did a thorough review for technology match before selecting the correct vendor for our project.

The mobile and web apps were developed using react-native and react. The backend was developed using NestJS. The cloud-based infrastructure uses Kubernetes. Multiple database support was also an essential part of the project, and currently, the backend supports two kinds of databases (MSSQL and Postgres). The testing of the front and back end was also covered using automated test cases and manual testing.

There were 2 architects, 3–5 developers, 1–2 UI/UX designers, and 1–2 testers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still ongoing. Yojji has delivered very well in all areas and has an excellent team for software development, UX/UI, and automated testing, UX/UI, and automated testing. Communication has also been excellent.

The project management was excellent. We used Agile project management methodology and were in contact with the team and project manager daily.

Communication, work quality, and their zeal to deliver on time despite multiple issues in their country due to the recent war.

Perhaps documenting the architecture alongside development would have been great, but we got help from them the whole time, so it wasn't a big issue.
