What challenge were you trying to address with Yelling Mule?

Our website felt very outdated, so we hired Yelling Mule to develop a new platform for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had several meetings to begin the project. We looked at websites we found attractive and used those examples to figure out our goal. Yelling Mule presented several design options, and we selected our favorite. From there, their team designed and developed the custom-built platform. After the launch, they began providing SEO services to ensure our site appears in key search results.

What is the team composition?

I had two main points of contact during the development of the site. James (CEO & Founder, Yelling Mule) primarily led the project and directed the rest of his team.

How did you come to work with Yelling Mule?

We looked at various companies near Boston since we wanted a nearby team to work closely with. After looking at various websites we liked and creating a list of developers, we interviewed several options and chose Yelling Mule.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together on the website from January–May 2013, and Yelling Mule provides SEO support when needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since implementing the SEO tools, our search result placement is greatly improved and helps potential customers find our business. The new website helps users navigate through our information and find what they’re looking for. We’re able to get the clients and candidates that we need thanks to Yelling Mule’s support.

How did Yelling Mule perform from a project management standpoint?

Before the site went live, we would communicate nearly every day. Post-launch, our interactions decreased to weekly, to monthly, and now everything runs smoothly without constant communication. We could reach out whenever we had questions, and they were open to our ideas. If we need them to make an addition to the platform or SEO approach, they’ll work with us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are a young, enthusiastic team that is full of good ideas. They have a modern, up-to-date approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their response time is sometimes not as quick as we would like. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Even if you go into the project with an idea, be open to Yelling Mule’s advice. They are honest and have great expertise that can make your project stronger. If you aren’t open to hearing their insight, the results may not reach their full potential.
