EtonX is a new e-learning project by Eton College and wanted to promote their first course - 'Making an Impact' - to teenagers in Russia and Kazakhstan. The course content focused on soft skills development and was new to the audience. We had to not only promote the course, but also explain its unique value.

 

Results: During the first 3 weeks, we managed to

achieve almost 2 million impressions, several thousand clicks, and a number of registrations. This justified further marketing investment into the territories. 

By the end of the "Making an Impact" course promotion, EtonX highlighted that the Yay!Starter marketing campaign demonstrated a very efficient acquisition of users in the new territories.

Tiny Whale provides a week-long surf holiday experience, complete with training, accommodation, and food. Our goal was to fill as many main holiday package slots as possible while simultaneously marketing the several specialty packages Tiny Whale provides.

 

Results: By the beginning of September, all available slots for Tiny Whale’s holiday packages had been fully booked through the

end of October - almost 2 months ahead of schedule. By this time, our pay per click ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Google garnered nearly 1.3 million impressions and over 20,000 clicks.

I'm the CEO of the National Association of Licensed Paralegals. We're the professional body for paralegals in England. We provide membership and nationally recognized paralegal qualifications.

What challenge were you trying to address with Yay!Starter Marketing?

We needed help with our marketing efforts. We used to have a consultant, but because of their other commitments, we needed to look for a new partner. We needed someone who was on the ball, future and forward-thinking, who would be able to push us forward to where we wanted to go.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were tasked with pushing us forward, with a limited budget, to promote our growth and effectively our budget's growth as well. They delivered effectual social media advertising on LinkedIn and Facebook, created content for the betterment of our Google SEO, took care of the newsletters for our members, and made contributions in so far as ideas on moving forward in marketing.  In terms of SEO, they also managed paid ad campaigns and strategy tactics for success, as well as keyword research and backlinking services.

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact, who also delegated tasks to other teammates at times.

How did you come to work with Yay!Starter Marketing?

Our previous consultant referred us to Yay! Starter Marketing.

How much have you invested with them?   

I won't disclose any figures, but I will say that we started off with a very limited budget which was increased slightly.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in March 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their success is proven by new memberships, new enrollments, and an increase in revenue. They've done exceptionally well through social media, and have increased our followers on LinkedIn, and the participation on Facebook has increased as well. They've been very good in terms of meeting our budget and timelines. They keep a close watch over the keyword research and are removing those that aren't necessary, changing them, and adding to the list.

How did Yay!Starter Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Their management has been exceptionally professional and incredibly efficient. They’ve given me a report every month. We use Trello for communication purposes. They've approached me with innovative ideas, which we appreciate. They've been very on-the-ball, sharp, and efficient.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professionalism, knowledge, and experience they have with marketing are incredible. I'm just blown away by them so far. Considering that their brief was just to increase everything without specific parameters, they've delivered far beyond my expectations. I'm happy and it will be an ongoing project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can't think of anything at the moment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It depends on what's required by the prospective clients. I have full faith in the Yay! Starter team to be able to communicate everything they'll need to be successful, or recommend someone who can get the job done. If anyone's looking for efficiency, Yay! Starter is the company to choose.
