Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a marketing company that builds some software as well, and for the most part we work with small businesses in our area.
What challenge were you trying to address with Yashco Systems?
We worked with their team to help us develop a medical software for one of our clients in the medical industry.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Yashco Systems provided PHP, Angular, and HTML development for us, working together to build the program from the ground up. They have a wide range of experiences in different programming languages and have been able to help us with a lot of different development challenges that we’ve faced over the years.
We have another development partner that we work together with as well, and Yashco Systems will always do a good job of cooperating with them and going back and forth to make sure all the different pieces come together.
What is the team composition?
We work with three different developers from their team, all with different development specialties.
How did you come to work with Yashco Systems?
We found them on Upwork, and the quality of their work was good, so we continued to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent a little under $25,000 with them over the years.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our first work together was in 2015, and they continue to help us with a variety of development tasks.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve been very satisfied with everything they’ve done. The team is totally honest about their abilities and has been able to deliver on everything we’ve asked of them. They are able to adapt to changes in scope whenever they come up, so we’ve never had any problems.
How did Yashco Systems perform from a project management standpoint?
We typically communicate over Skype or email, but they also make good use of JIRA to keep track of project milestones and our long-term goals, and between those channels we have been able to stay on top of all of the work quite well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re reasonably priced and they do a really good job. That says everything you need to know.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only reason they’re not my lead developer is that they don’t have people available to communicate during work hours here, which introduces some difficulty, but that’s not something that I would really hold against them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them your requirements and let them get to work because they will deliver.

We’re a communications service that provides custom solutions such as video chat and payment processing options.
What challenge were you trying to address with Yashco Systems?
We were seeking additional resources to help our internal developers pick up the slack. We needed help with finalizing some minor projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provide assistance in developing a custom web application.
What is the team composition?
I work with a team of three, which consisted of the company owner and two developers.
How did you come to work with Yashco Systems?
I found them through a freelance site. I interviewed four other developers, and they came out on top.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2018, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of their work has been good, and I’m impressed by how quickly they’re able to complete tasks.
How did Yashco Systems perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication is satisfactory, and their scheduling is pretty good. Sometimes—especially in the face of changing requirements—they’ll go one or two days over the deadline, but I’m fairly happy on this front. We use Trello for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Even though they’re an offshore team, their English proficiency is high, and their communication skills are pretty impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t really think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They offer a wide variety of programming languages, so just be ready for developers to have different approaches towards different projects. I’d also advise you to reinforce your deadline to make sure they meet expectations. Make sure to clearly communicate your objectives and goals.
The designs and features delivered by Yashco Systems continue to satisfy all project requirements, pleasing the client with their quality and timeliness of delivery. Their team is very professional, working to overcome the communication barrier of time differences with extensive documentation.
