Please describe your company and your position there.

Metro Contents provides home restoration services. This particular division offers pack out, cleaning, storage and pack back services for personal effects. Our services typically follow a personal disaster or major renovation. In my consulting position, I help the company put processes in place to reduce their cost and improve customer deliverables.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Xtreem Solution?

This was my first time defining and building a software application. I hired Xtreem Solution to help me overcome three significant challenges. They provide support for managing data input into the system for estimated and ongoing costs. Reporting functions should help make informed, data-driven decisions. Lastly, we needed help pairing costs with billing.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed our product to be accepted by direct labor for ease of use. To achieve this goal, the apps required demonstrable data and management reliability to serve as a firm foundation for making decisions.

How did you select this vendor?

I found Xtreem Solution through a recommendation from a service bureau. I selected them based on their support staff’s rapid and complete responses.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

At the beginning of our project, I gave Xtreem Solution input about what I wanted. They came up with designs for the applications’ look and feel. In response, I sent them detailed proposed screens and reports according to the primer they had made. Xtreem Solution built our data collection iOS app along with a reporting and database management web app. The team continues to provide ongoing testing and monthly applications support

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project is too new to know the impact.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Initially, we managed the project by regularly updating a spreadsheet with comments.  Further along in the process, we transitioned to using Trello.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Xtreem Solution maintains consistent daily communication with us. Our correspondence centers on progress updates and questions.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

My suggestion would be to conduct internal testing prior to product release.
