I'm the Senior Engineering Manager, managing the entire Tech department. A company that focuses on building food procurement tools for restaurants and suppliers and, therefore, making Restaurants cheaper and more accessible for everyone.

For what projects/services did your company hire Xplicity, and what were your goals?

For two different projects:

1. one on the web side, we needed help on the Front-end side of the app development
2. on the mobile side, we needed extra power/capacity, in developing our Android mobile app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

When I joined the company, we already had one person contracted through Xplicity and seeing that the collaboration was going very well and also considering that we were in a continuous rush for having extra man-power, they were like an obvious option for us. Hiring is our first priority, but that tends to be more time costly, therefore is some cases outsourcing turns out to be a better option.

• Web APP: Vue JS and JavaScript
• Mobile side: Flutter and Kotlin

2 persons, one Front-end developer and one senior Android developer.

Agile SCRUM/Kanban with all the routines involved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their commitment to helping their clients was exceptional. For us, all colleagues coming from Xplicity, felt like they were directly employed with our company. No difference what-so-ever, except for the payment method.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think that we can always improve and everything can be improved, so my answer would be YES. e.g. Perhaps they could also consider buyout options in the future.

Agiboo is a provider of commodity trade and risk management (CTRM) software. This software is critical for its users to support their business operations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Xplicity, and what were your goals?

Xplicity has been able to fortify the development team with numerous roles and functions. From generic development in C# and .net core to specific devops tasks for MS Azure or participating in the testing cycles. The team members at Xplicity played an active role in all development tasks and development processes.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Xplicity is capable of providing a team where the members have proven knowledge and skills and is adding dedication to this mix.

The team at Xplicity have provided a large set of solution and deliveries to the overall development of the products with a mix of technologies such as C#, .net core, Odata, MS Azure, Kubernetes. The list is ungoing.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Agiboo has worked with about 9 team members, which has positions like Senior, medior and junior developers as well as testers and devops. In addition Agiboo worked closely with the facilitating people at Xplicity to great satisfaction

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After involving Xplicity we have seen a much higher velocity in software delivery, which went up more than 50%.

The Xplicity team was really good in being part of the team, using the agile process Scrum. The team members participated in this process almost overnight which made the transition go very well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team's dedication and willingness to find a solution are very impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Xplicity is always looking for additional good team members, they are hard to find but they manage.

I am the CTO of a computer software company. One of our products is TeamShare, a system for managing projects, cases, and documents. The software manages and handles thousands of projects and millions of documents in numerous business verticals. It is available on multiple browsers and Microsoft Office.

We needed to deliver our solution on a mobile platform.

What were your goals for this project?

Supporting a mobile workforce is a key parameter for our customers, and our goal was to stay ahead of their requirements.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Xplicity approached us and offered their services. Their price range suited our needs perfectly.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Initially, we did a proof of concept of the basic functionalities of the mobile app. Xplicity now handles the development of our iOS and Android apps, creating new features based on our roadmap. We develop the backend in-house, so Xplicity adjusts to our specifications. They also give suggestions on the UI design for approval.

What was the team composition?

They assigned one resource to work with our in-house development team and outsourced test team. We can also get additional help when needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our apps allow users to take their work on the road as well as offline. Without the apps, we would not be able to support the requirements of our customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We handle project management using Scrum. Xplicity’s developer fits in well with the rest of the in-house development team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our original developer left Xplicity, but they quickly found a replacement and made sure he was brought up to speed quickly.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

We are highly satisfied with their work and would not change anything.
