We were looking for a company that is ready to work with new ideas and has excellent developers in team. We find it difficult to find all in a company at early stage of our screening process. But when we started discussion with Xpertyst, we got great confidence in their ability and also we had an interview with their developers which gave us complete trust on their skills and understanding of project scope.

Describe the project in detail.

They built very beautiful and impressive app, including deep linking and My Coach feature, which allows us to send daily coaching messages to our users. They also integrated the app with our campaign management system so that we could easily send push notifications. With the new app, we’re capturing more data and can send notifications and reminders according to our customers’ activity. Regarding the design, xpertyst redesigned the entire meal planning screen because we’d received feedback from customers that it wasn’t very intuitive. They also redid the home screen and the layout of the exercises.

What was the team composition?

The team included many resources - One project manager, one guy for designing, one for IOS developer, one Android developer, and testing team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our app is currently still in development. With the video demonstration of the app and its progress, can say without a doubt that we didn't make a wrong decision on choosing Xpertyst for the development of our app as the current results are better than expected.

The communication between our teams was relatively smooth. We used Slack to collaborate with their team. Their dedication and professionalism were apparent at all stages of the project. The project manager was great at updating over email, keeping everyone in the loop.

The resources were absolutely committed, and not afraid to learn new things. There were no moments when they said something was difficult, or that there was no value in learning it. They’re a professional team that’s good at anticipating change.

Anuj Atrey is our coordinator. He's an amazing person, reactive, and dynamic. We can contact him by night, as well. The team was in a group of 4-5 members including designers and developers to help develop the app in both Android and iOS platforms.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Just know we published the application and we can see that people start downloading it and having a good impression from using the application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The experience was excellent. They basically created many milestones to track the progress and they shared it with us. So we could track the progress and plan our development and budget as well. We also created a Skype group between us and the developers so it was a clear and fast communication channel that cut through the process and let us focus on getting things done.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Xpertyst made an effective plan and followed through with every word. They paid close attention to my priorities, and their consistent communication during the early phase of the project gave them a strong understanding of my needs and helped avoid misunderstandings and rework. Project installments have been very clear and delivered on schedule.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They have done well and exceeded my expectations. Xpertyst is confident in what they do and was able to implement all the functionalities according to our timeline. It is difficult to comment on any areas that may require improvement. We were totally satisfied with the level of service we received.

We were looking for the leads and order system that can enter directly to our production line without wasting time. We were supposed to contact only with their analyst although they said they are 6.
