Easing Travel Stress with the JetBlue Airways App

The travel journey has many moving parts, all of which can sometimes encounter hidden obstacles. JetBlue Airways partnered with Wunderman Thompson Mobile back in 2012 to execute a user-friendly mobile app that can be with a traveler at every step of their journey. 

The JetBlue app, available for both iOS and Android platforms, was named a "Top 10 Travel App" by

Smarter Travel, won a 2018 Webby Award for Best User Experience and was also nominated for Best Travel App. The app has also received over half a million reviews on the App Store, maintained a 4.9-star rating, and has over 10 million downloads and counting.

Golf Through a New Lens with PGA TOUR AR

Following Apple's launch of ARKit for iOS, Wunderman Thompson Mobile and the PGA TOUR launched the PGA TOUR AR application. The app features various holes on the PGA TOUR in augmented reality - allowing users to plot shot trails from live ShotLink data as tournaments are being played. The experience also uses surface-detection to display 3D golf course models and shot trails onto any flat surface nearby. Lastly, the app also

offers 360º videos to allow fans to completely immersive themselves in the tee box. 

 

The PGA TOUR AR app saw a successful launch, a significant amount of press coverage from publications like Sports Business Journal, Golf.Com, and TechCrunch, and the app was even covered in a SXSW panel by Apple’s Senior VP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue.

Golf caters to audiences of all ages and with the PGA TOUR’s suite of digital products, their fans can now experience the game in completely new and immersive ways. The iOS and Android apps, designed and developed by Wunderman Thompson Mobile, enable golf fans to follow the sport from anywhere with features like a real-time leaderboard, live-player scorecards, shot trails, and more.

Wunderman Thompson Mobile continues to

release innovative updates with new features for the PGA TOUR applications. The iOS app currently sits at a 4.6-star rating while the Android app has 4.1 stars.

A Blast From the Past with Pokémon TV

Pokémon wanted to expand their Pokémon TV digital experience (originally built by Wunderman Thompson Mobile for tvOS) to more platforms and make it more user-friendly and engaging. The Pokémon TV app is now available across web, iOS, iPad, Android, Android Tablet, Apple TV, Fire Tablet, Fire TV, and Roku and also supports 14 regional localizations.

Since Wunderman Thompson’s teams have delivered the redesign for Pokémon

TV, app ratings, as well as downloads, have all increased. The app currently has 4.7 stars on the App Store and 4.4 stars on Google Play.

While Chewy.com was a mobile responsive website, the pet-focused company desired a more convenient and user-friendly solution for its customers in order to drive sales. Wunderman Thompson Mobile developed both the iOS and Android apps for Chewy which provided shoppers with all of their favorite pet brands at their fingertips.

Chewy’s mobile app successfully

launched and helped to generate more revenue and consumer engagement with the brand. The iOS app currently sits as a 4.9-star app on the App Store while the Android app has 4.8 stars.

In a world where brand loyalty is addressed with points and sameness, AT&T sought to differentiate their program in a saturated and competitive wireless industry. Their goals through their loyalty program were to increase customer satisfaction, up value perception, and reduce churn. AT&T looked to Wunderman Thompson Mobile to bring a modern loyalty program to life by showing genuine

appreciation for AT&T customers through a mobile app.

 

After the launch of the program, AT&T THANKS saw high levels of engagement with the reward benefits, millions of app downloads, and overall, customers who used the AT&T THANKS program generated a higher lifetime value with AT&T than those who did not participate. The app currently has a 4.7-star rating out of 5 on the App Store and a 4.1-star rating on Google Play.
