We wanted to start running Google Ads but had no idea where to begin or how to do it. That is why we began our partnership with WunderAds. We wanted to run Google Ads and get it to a state of stable traffic.

A wonderful coincidence! We were actually searching for an agency that can do Google Ads for us. We were speaking to a different partner that we have and we were referred to Wunder Ads by this partner and the rest is history! We looked for a company that places emphasis on transparency and can helps us from square one. Wunder Ads checked off all the boxes and that is why we chose Wunder Ads.

 We are currently applying Google Ads to our marketing strategy in order to expand the audience reach and improve our placement on Google. We are implementing Google Ads, Analytics, and Tag Manager for our campaigns.

From a quantitative perspective, as a result of the engagement, our team has seen an increased ROI from Google Ads and other Google linked programs.

Marco and his team walks us through the process thoroughly and due to the active interaction on both sides it truly feels like we are growing together as one team rather than separate companies. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Marco's Team is really helping us expand the scope of our audience with their hard work and have been exceeding our expectations. We came into this project not really knowing what to look for, but Marco has really walked us through the entire process and has been great with being transparent with each step, helping us to understand the process more and more. We found this incredibly impressive and unique as we are used to other marketing agencies not being transparent at all and being billed for unknown reasons.

By having the experience of being left in the dark with other marketing agencies, we are finding this experience with Marco's company like a breath of fresh air and the light at the end of a tunnel. We enjoy this proactive teamwork that we are experiencing.

For what projects/services did your company hire WunderAds?

We launched a skincare brand called gabi+skin last year. This year we needed to build up a Google Ads strategy to drive more traffic, track conversions, and understand more about how to better target our consumers in Taiwan, a Chinese-speaking market.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to set the foundation for clear and transparent tracking and analysis of our website visitors, plus to set up a series of Google Ads targeting customers at different stages of the consumer funnel.

How did you select this vendor?

WunderAds was highly recommended to us from a previous client we worked for.

Describe the project in detail.

WunderAds was quite organized and methodical in their approach. They helped us first make sure all of the basic foundation tracking and analytics were set up properly for our web properties. This involved them connecting Google Search Console, Tag Manager, Analytics, and the AdWords account to our website properly. We did test transactions to make sure we could see all of the data flowing properly. After this initial foundation set up, they started to create ads for us targeting our customers in Taiwan. These ads ranged from branded ads, product ads, and shopping ads. Our goal was, and still is, to spend as much as possible and break-even in order to greatly increase the awareness of our brand in Taiwan. This project is still ongoing, and so far we have seen some good results and have had some excellent learnings.

There were a couple of folks involved from the WunderAds side, including Marco, the founder.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have a much clearer path and have been able to make fundamental improvements to our site and our ads to achieve our goals. It will be exciting to see how things develop over the coming months.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective since WunderAds uses a very structured, organized approach to solving our problems and meeting our goals. We used project management software and Slack for communication, plus a few meet up in-person sessions to help things along.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are very organized and really listen to our problems. They aren't focused on just doing something we didn't ask for. They are patient and really fine-tune. They pay attention to small details and really care about not overspending on wasted ads (very easy to do!).

Are there any areas for improvement?

So far, we have not noticed any issues. We are continuing our engagement with them.

I’m the CEO of True Terral, a plant-based nutrition company located in Taiwan.

What challenge were you trying to address with WunderAds?

We were looking to scale and manage our paid Google Ads campaigns. I was also looking for a company with experience in the Taiwanese market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team is testing on the campaigns and keywords that they’re running on Google Ads. They’re also creating video ads on YouTube. They’re also in charge of the shopping advertisements and Google merchants.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with WunderAds started in March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality has been great. I’m really surprised by their service. Since it was the first time I’ve hired an agency for running ads, I was skeptical in the beginning.

They feel like they’re directly on the team. Besides running the campaign, they’re proactive about strategy and meetings.

How did WunderAds perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication is great. In the beginning, I went through an SOP for onboarding new clients. I had to go through several steps to allow him to enter my account and get familiar with my products and what I do. I feel that the onboarding process was great at getting myself familiar with the type of communication and service I would be getting.

After that, we have weekly meetings every Monday for two hours. We also have meetings on Fridays about the results we got from the previous week. We then set up the new KPIs for the next week, and it’s been really good.

I always know what’s happening in my account. I’ve never lost sight of the changes that are going to happen. If there’s any loss in the previous week, I’m also notified.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I work directly with Marcos. In the beginning, he put a lot of time into educating himself about the product and the Taiwanese market. He goes beyond running the campaigns by understanding how we can keep promoting the product.

We only sell one product, and he came up with ideas to optimize our landing page and what we can do to approach audiences. Those are things outside of the scope I hired Marcos for, but he still makes recommendations to improve the sales of the product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m thrilled with their service. I’m going to rehire WunderAds for another three months. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I get a lot of value with WunderAds’ service. The onboarding process was great. It saved a lot of work and time.

The team at WunderAds manages all of our Google and Bing advertising. They’re starting with Facebook advertising. For our existing Shopify store, they helped revamp that. It didn’t have traffic running through it as it had only been used for processing B2B orders.

We tried a couple of agencies previously, but they didn’t work out. Some friends who are in niche e-commerce recommended Marco to us.

In the few months of working with them, our monthly revenue increased from four to five digits. Since last year, we have roughly seven times the revenue. We’ve also made good progress with our advertising cost; it’s been about 40%.

Their team can work independently. They’re responsive and forthcoming, and quickly implement any input we give them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility and availability in meeting our demands are great. The initial hire was for paid advertising, but they took on our Shopify store with no problem.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. It took a few weeks for them to get up to speed with how our business works, and what’s important to us. That’s a normal part of any engagement.

Be clear about your strategy. Let them know what channels and advertising you want to use, and what your focus for PPI tracking is.
