A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a consultant that works with a B2B financial technology client.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Wolfhound Interactive?

My client wanted to have their website redone.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We engaged Wolfhound Interactive for the UX and wireframes process of the project. First, they gathered initial information about the market, client, the type of business, and viewers. Then, they developed an initial wireframe development that went to a separate vendor for the design phase. They had meetings with the client directly and with me as an intermediary.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Brian (Founder & CEO).

How did you come to work with Wolfhound Interactive?

Our design vendor has Wolfhound specifically as their partner for wireframes, and we had a good feeling that things would work out well.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed a contract in February 2020, and we wrapped up in May 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were very accommodating to work with and Brian was very knowledgeable. They were good with my client, and we felt comfortable with their recommendations. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with.

How did Wolfhound Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

They were efficient in moving things along and ensuring we got things done in a timely fashion so we could keep the project moving. We were able to keep things exactly on schedule because both of our teams put in the effort to maintain the timeline. We used inVision for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were good at getting us to think strategically and pulling multiple thoughts together from various stakeholders, which were then expertly reflected in the suggested page titles and wireframe layouts.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they were very flexible and a pleasure to work with. They were aggressive with requested turnaround time for review, but that forced us to make decisions quickly and kept the project on schedule.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Working with a firm that’s versed in UX design can lead to a stronger base from which to develop a website that connects with customers in the way you want.
