Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
We had been working with a different offshore vendor to develop our app, which included a cross-platform mobile app in React Native (for iOS and Android), and a back-end admin / management system for the app in Node JS and Angular. As we neared "completion" of the app with the prior firm, there were some notable issues and we decided to move to a new dev firm to
(a) address / rectify the issues, and
(b) become our partner for launch and ongoing app management / development.
The back end / admin system of the app needed a complete rebuild, which wlcm did from the ground up. We used the opportunity to improve some of the design and functionality, which wlcm not only built but offered valuable design guidance on. Wlcm also addressed bugs in the front end / mobile app itself (which had been built by the previous firm), which was suffering from poor architecture and coding practices.
At the same time they addressed existing issue, wlcm helped us improve the design and add new features and fucntionalty to the front end. Finally, wlcm helped us prepare for and successfully launch the app, and has been our trusted partner in addressing newly identified bugs, as well as continuing to implement new features moving forward.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Wlcm built us a wonderful and well functioning new back-end, addressed significant issues from the previous engineering firm's front end work, and helped us successfully launch the app publicly.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Wlcm has excellent project management. Their estimates, both total time and deadlines, were extremely accurate, and they kept us up to date on progress at a fine grained level through Slack, regular phone calls, ClickUp, and, where needed, additional tools. They are highly responsive to questions and very transparent in the work they are doing.
What was your primary form of communication with WLCM App Studio?
Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Wlcm is a true partner and trusted advisor - they care greatly about our shared success and their behaviors back it up. They are highly communicative and transparent in their communications, responsive to our inquiries and needs, very committed to quality, skilled at what they do, and to top it off they are wonderful human beings to work with. I look forward to a long collaboration with our current app, and if given the chance I would work with them again in a heartbeat on another project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something WLCM App Studio could have done differently?
At this time there really is nothing I can point to in terms of areas for improvement or things I wish they had done differently.
WLCM App Studio designed and developed a mobile app for a technology company. After the design and discovery phase of the project, they were tasked with the UX design, app development, testing, and launch.
Thanks to WLCM App Studio's efforts, the app had a better UX and a paywall. The team delivered tasks on time and responded promptly to the client's concerns. The app's detailed design resulted in an exceptional final product. Overall, the team's enthusiasm and diligence impressed the client.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and founder of Goomi Group, a corporate wellness company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with WLCM App Studio?
We were exploring the idea of launching a web platform that would be beneficial for our clients, and we needed help with the entire process.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, WLCM helped us with a thorough R&D process. We spent several months doing market research to determine what our clients wanted and what we wanted from this platform. Once we finished with the R&D phase, they came to the table with a solution for what we wanted to build.
After we approved their proposal, WLCM developed a prototype to outline what this platform would look like and include. Then, they started the actual UI/UX design and web app development process from scratch. We specifically requested three different customer segments to have transparency across the board, which was unique to our technology. Currently, we’re about to complete the development process.
The technology stack we’ve used to build our product includes Sketch for the designs and AWS for hosting. Moreover, our platform has an API integration with SurveyMonkey for surveys, as well as another API integration with monday.com for our workflow process. Additionally, WLCM has developed a great functionality for engagement statistics, using an API with Zoom that allows us to download engagement data for our Zoom classes.
What is the team composition?
We work with around five people from WLCM, including Lindsey (Founder), a project manager, a developer, a UI/UX designer, and a QA engineer.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our initial conversations with WLCM in January 2022, and we started developing the product in April 2022. We’ll complete the product in mid-January 2023. Still, we recently signed out a contract with them for an additional year of service.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
WLCM’s work has met our expectations. Every client we’ve presented our platform to has been very impressed with it. They love the design, visuals, and simplicity of use, and we’re already generated some pre-sales.
How did WLCM App Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
For software development projects, it’s always expected that the product will go above budget and isn’t going to launch on time. From that standpoint, WLCM has met our expectations. We’ve pushed the deadline a couple of times, but we’ve also changed the nature of the project, so the delays have been on us.
WLCM is very quick at fixing bugs. Last week, we noticed a bug, and it took them just a few days to fix it. We use Dropbox to share information, and we meet weekly via Google Meet. We also use Google Calendar to schedule our meetings and Slack to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
WLCM’s communication and UI/UX design skills have been impressive. Lindsey is very analytical, and she has a great ability to take a concept and visually organize it into specific boxes so that it makes sense. As an entrepreneur, I have a lot of all-over-the-place ideas, and Lindsey is very good at streamlining those ideas and putting them together in a concrete way.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything WLCM could improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very communicative, especially during the initial stages. I really appreciated the time that Lindsey initially took to get to know my business and what we wanted to accomplish. Given that we were able to over-communicate with her, she was able to understand what we wanted. Thus, over-communication is key so that WLCM can deliver exactly what you want.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the former VP of product for HeyMama, a community startup.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with WLCM App Studio?
We’d previously bootstrapped several free and paid software providers to pull together an offering as an MVP. When I first took this role, the engineering team was appropriate for the time, but they didn’t have any backend capabilities. We understood that in order to scale, we had to bring our digital offering in-house and create a bespoke internal solution. At the time, we were primarily using WordPress.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve met every day and worked on several projects throughout the organization. WLCM App Studio works as an extension of our internal team. For our first project, we had an initial deliverable to rebuild our application form to increase our conversions and leads. From there, they’ve also worked on a proprietary networking platform for our company, long-term strategic projects, and short-term deliverables.
Initially, we worked from a strategic perspective. We translated the business requirements and explained what the form had to achieve. WLCM App Studio delivered the wireframes, designs, and backend MVP. Then, they did the web application's complete frontend and backend development.
For the networking platform, we’ve provided the business requirements and customer research. We’ve also partnered with them on that, so they’ve been involved from the beginning. We’ve worked with them strategically on the UX wireframes and different platform components, including authentication, profile creation, messaging, and search functionality. Also, we’ve worked through several rounds of low-fidelity wireframing up to high-fidelity designs. We’ve had approval rounds with our founders and board members, getting feedback on the architectural solutions from an engineering perspective, the language we’d use, how it’d be built, and the project management to break it down into distinct phases to deliver on time. The product is a responsive single-page design, and they’ve made it using Node.js and Python for the backend.
What is the team composition?
Lindsey (Founder & CEO) is our main point of contact. We’ve worked with 8–10 people forming a broad UX strategy and design team, engineering, QA, data science, technical architecture, and project management. There are many functions within the team, and some people cycle in and out. As a consultancy, that’s one of the benefits; people come in when needed and then come out of the project when we’re moving to the next stage.
How did you come to work with WLCM App Studio?
We put it out to our community to see if anyone within it ran consultancies along these lines. Lindsey reached out through that channel, and we had an initial early discussion. Nothing came of it at that point, so we investigated other options. I looked at bringing the staff in-house and hiring internally; we did it for one role, but then it made more sense to partner with someone.
We had a tender process with a few different consultancies. We engaged with four and narrowed it down to two. Ultimately, we went with WLCM specifically due to their experience with our customer base. They’d worked on many other projects and partnerships with the same customer base as us, so we felt they could contribute more from that perspective.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent changing amounts per month depending on our needs. We spent around $200,000 AUD (approximately $135,000 USD) in a year. In April 2021, we expanded our engagement to a more expensive model.
What is the status of this engagement?
We had a prior engagement, but we officially started working together in April 2020. Our relationship is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The work is fantastic, especially since the entire team is independent and solution-minded. They deliver high-quality work and understand the business priorities and the work’s purpose. When we need to adjust things throughout the process, they can still achieve the goal.
In terms of success, we’ve seen an increase in our conversions. Initially, we had a 10% increase in membership signup conversions, which has increased over time. Before the rollout, we weren’t capturing any leads. Also, the board is happy with the changes, and there haven’t been any issues. WLCM App Studio has maintained the transitions off of the bootstrapped WordPress solution.
When we first launched the new membership application form, we had a major bug where we couldn’t see any applications go through because they were stuck on one of the pages. We’d anticipated it in the rollout plan because we couldn’t test everything through the QA process. Therefore, we were able to roll back to the original form quickly. However, their support was on hand during that launch period.
We launched at a considerate time so there wouldn’t be many applications coming through and there wasn’t a significant impact. We also put tracking in place, so we were able to solve the problem and get the form back up within a couple of days. It was successful, and they handled that exceptionally well. We pre-empted a few of the issues that could occur, and they set up to respond to them calmly.
How did WLCM App Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very timely and proactive in communicating whenever there are hiccups along the way. Also, they always have a solution in mind to meet the deadlines. We have a collaborative approach with them, so they’re aware of the pressures around the work. If there’s a delay, they generally communicate it and offer an option. We can say yes or no and provide them feedback. From that perspective, we haven’t had any issues with deadlines — they can look at the purpose of a task and understand the timeline.
Our company uses Asana, and WLCM App Studios feels more comfortable using ClickUp. It generally works well because we don’t require a lot of integration between both platforms. However, we’ve also invested together in using Zapier to replicate some of the information across both tools. We’ve been able to have much more in-depth technical details updated in ClickUp, which is easier for us for all the project planning. Additionally, we’ve used Google Docs to share requirements and stay in contact with each other and InDesign to share files and clickable prototypes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their accountability is outstanding. They have the skills and experience, but that can be replicated elsewhere. On the other hand, their attitude around accountability is vital for us. They act as an extended part of our team and understand our goals and what we’re trying to achieve. Moreover, they’re excellent at finding ways to achieve those outcomes.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Although it isn't necessary for a company of our size, their only opportunity area is adding support to founders. In our case, the engagement has worked well because I have my product background and I’m not the founder, so I can work as an extended team member. However, it’d be good to have more support for a more immature company without that capability.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear on the business outcomes that you need to achieve. Also, be open and collaborative — treat them as an extended arm of your team, which involves a lot of trust and accountability on their side as well.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Pumpspotting, a breastfeeding and babysitting mobile app and benefit solution. We help parents navigate nursing and pumping, and we help companies create breastfeeding-friendly workforce environments.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with WLCM App Studio?
We hired WLCM to build our first product, which was our mobile app for parents.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
WLCM first helped us develop the mobile app required to serve parents in our population. Since then, we’ve had a six-year longstanding partnership with them, in which they continue to do the development work required for our product and our company.
Throughout our engagement, WLCM has worked closely with us in all the different aspects of our product development, from laying out the product roadmap to the actual mobile app development. In addition to development, their scope also includes UI/UX design.
As for the technology stack, we’ve used AWS, Heroku, and React Native. Our app is available for iOS and Android, and its main feature is helping parents navigate through the day-to-day of breastfeeding. They use the app to tell us their breastfeeding goal and what their lifestyle looks like, and we track their daily nursing and pumping sessions.
The app also has a community where users can interact with other parents and ask questions. Additionally, they have access to a virtual lactation consultant and a Yelp-like site where they can find nursing and pumping places around the world.
What is the team composition?
We work with four people from WLCM, including Lindsey (Founder & CEO), who handles UX development and strategy, Sergey (Project Manager), a frontend developer, and a backend developer. Additionally, they provide us with resources for QA and testing support.
How did you come to work with WLCM App Studio?
I was introduced to Lindsey through a mutual friend in 2016. At the time, I had the idea for the Pumpspotting app that I wanted to build, and I discovered that she was building and designing custom mobile apps. She and I hit it off really well, so I hired her to build the first version of my app.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around October 2016, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since launching the app, we’ve had 40,000 app downloads, and we were named the number one app for mothers by the App Store. Additionally, we were recently selected as part of Google Play’s We Are Play campaign, which talks about the strength of the app built by WLCM.
As for the quality of WLCM’s work, I can say that we’ve had very few bugs or crashes. When developing apps, bugs are inevitable. However, the percentage of issues we’ve faced is incredibly low. Additionally, whenever we’ve found a problem, WLCM has quickly and efficiently addressed the issue and made the necessary changes to fix it.
How did WLCM App Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
WLCM is excellent at project management — they feel like part of our team. We communicate very easily with them via Slack, Zoom, or email, and they’re very responsive. Moreover, they’re very forthcoming and transparent about the budget, scope, and sprints.
Working with them, I always feel that I have access to both the project’s information and WLCM’s team members because they’re always ready to answer questions. Additionally, their work is always on time and well executed. Whenever something veers course, they’re very good at communicating those challenges and keeping us abreast of any changes so that we don’t get any surprises.
What did you find most impressive about them?
WLCM is very good at communicating, and they have a great sense of intuition. We always come to them with big ideas of what we need and where we want to go, and their team is wonderfully helpful at shaping those ideas, finetuning them, and bringing them to life. Ours is a real partnership, which I really love because it is great to have a partner who is capable of shaping the project and following through.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Over the years, we’ve worked together really well to get better and better with processes. They’ve been very open to constructive feedback, so I have nothing to tell them because we’ve already addressed areas of opportunity when needed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend the time upfront to talk through your goals. For us, being very clear about our objectives and milestones has worked out really well, and we’ve kept constant communication to ensure we remain aligned as the project progresses.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of Shift Retreats, LLC.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire WLCM App Studio, and what were your goals?
We wanted to create a mobile app that would house our growing catalog of guided meditations. The goal was to create ease of access and support for existing and potential clients.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I was looking for a women owned business that could provide ease of use for the customer experience and a beautiful build.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a series of meetings (and convos on Slack) to discuss needs of the app and how that might be accomplished in the most cost effective way. Wireframes were presented, we made small adjustments to design and user interface that would allow for easier searching for specific meditations as well as an easy way to find free meditations. The app was built, I got it see the test versions along the way until the official app was live.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I spoke with the owner, a designated to me project manager and another person at some point - an assistant I think.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I’m pleased with 53 ratings so far in the App Store, 4.9 overall rating. The app is serving the needs of the community as I hoped it would.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We spoke mostly through slack and email. Timelines were met across the board save two occasions where deliverables needed to be pushed due to agreed upon real-time design changes. Another designer was brought into the project to make the app a bit more streamlined in look and feel (because that is his speciality). I was a part of that decision, it was clearly communicated it with me as well as next steps.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Lindsey Witmer Collins has a clear vision and passion for this work. I was most impressed with how much she cared about my app looking amazing and getting into the world. I’ve never met another CEO who was excited and invested in my project(s) like Mrs. Collins.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There were some software programs I needed to set up accounts for along the way. It would have been nice to have a list of those on the front end so I could proactively set everything up. I’m not entirely sure if that is possible but it would be nice if it is.

client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a healthcare app.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with WLCM App Studio?
I had a concept for my app, but I had no engineering experience building apps, so I reached out to WLCM for help.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
WLCM has helped me develop the architecture and engineering behind my app. Initially, I explained my concept and provided them with the idea of how I imagined the interface. Then, they immediately started ideating how to actually develop the app. I then got in touch with WLCM’s design team, who helped me with the UI/UX design.
It took WLCM 8–9 months to develop the app. We’ve had an ongoing relationship since launching it as the app has continued growing and evolving. Now, we’re getting ready to launch another version of the app, including new elements.
The app is available for iOS and Android, and the main portion of it has healthcare purposes. It helps users track heart symptoms in real time and translates that information into reports. Then, cardiologists can access those reports to make their time with patients more efficient.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked primarily with Lindsey (Founder & CEO), who put me in touch with one person from their design team. I’ve also worked with a couple of engineers to refine some of the app’s features.
How did you come to work with WLCM App Studio?
At the time, I was taking a business workshop, and Lindsay was taking the same workshop. I heard her talk about her services, which caught my attention because I wanted to work with a female-led studio, so I emailed her. After contacting them, Lindsey came back to me immediately and began the creative process.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent between $30,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I first reached out to WLCM in August 2014, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our app’s ratings are very good, reaching 4.7 out of five stars. Medical offices and cardiologists have used the app, and I now work directly with a cardiologist who has received grants and is actively using the app for research.
Overall, I’ve had a great experience working with WLCM. They’re very professional and great listeners, helping them understand the project very well. They’ve brought some great ideas to the table in order to continuously improve the product itself.
How did WLCM App Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
As someone who does a lot of project management myself, I’ve found WLCM to be incredibly organized and timely. Lindsey has guided the entire process, and her entire team has been highly responsive and engaged. They’re excellent communicators, and they work in an incredibly timely manner.
We track everything to date, and for the most part, we’ve stayed on time and within budget. We’ve used Trello to manage the project, and we use phone calls, emails, and, recently, Zoom meetings to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
WLCM’s differentiator is that they’re very engaged in projects, and they seem to really care about the product itself and what the end user will be experiencing. They’ve built my app to be in service to heart patients, demonstrating a great investment in supporting that community. Our project has been more than a job for them; they seem to be truly invested in the project's success.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come to the table prepared with a clear sense of what you’re looking for, and be open to WLCM’s input to improve upon your original idea.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the co-CEO of Brella, and we are transforming child care. Brella provides flexible and on-demand child care to support family's needs. Our child care centers offer high quality care and education for children 3 months-6 years old. We've embraced technology to provide better scheduling, payment and check-in/out experiences.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire WLCM App Studio, and what were your goals?
We wanted to use technology to make child care easy and beautiful. We asked WLCM to build a customer app that would allow families to schedule and pay for child care by the hour. And then allow these families to safely drop off and pick up their children. We also asked WLCM to design a supporting front/desk admin app to support the operation of our business, manage utilization, class rosters, and customer service needs.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We discovered WLCM through the rave reviews of another founder. After an introductory call with Lindsey- we knew we had our partner. Lindsey not only understood our business needs and goals, but she truly understood our customer. She brought a much-needed vision to our needs. From day one, Lindsey offered a combination of passion and practicality that allowed us to build an effective and impactful app on a limited budget.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Lindsey and I kicked off the project by speaking about our vision. We talked a lot about the customer experience. She also immersed herself in our brand look and feel (something that is incredibly important to us). We started with high level wireframes/screens which Lindsey shared over sketch. During calls we could work together to revise and modify the UX and design. Lindsey was incredibly flexible and supportive through this process. However, she also was a great advisor steering us towards decisions that had positive outcomes and long-term benefits. WLCM's communication is incredible. They created a Slack channel for daily communication.
Lindsey openly shares her gantt charts and project plans so we had complete transparency into her team's progress. I never had any concerns about the status of our projects. Lindsey's team provided access to test versions of the iOS and Android mobile app and a staging build of our web- based admin app which allowed us to test and provide feedback. Her QA team is amazing though so even if we didn't have much bandwidth, they were on any issues.
The initial app delivery was amazing- there were virtually no bugs. The mobile app provides scheduling functionality for multiple children. It also allows families to pay for childcare with an integration through Stripe. The app currently supports in-app push notifications. Our web-based admin app provides customer service tools including scheduling and payments and refunds (via Stripe) and data and analytics dashboards. We have continued to work with Lindsey and her team for 3 years on additional scope for our mobile and admin apps. They have built and launched huge features and small improvements. All have been done beautifully, on time and on budget.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Lindsey has been a primary contact for us and I Iove that she is so involved in our project. She is there to problem solve as well as to bring perspective. Our PM is Sergey and he is an absolute dream. He cares so deeply about the success of our business and technology. I'm not sure when he sleeps because he is so responsive despite being 10 hours ahead of us. Every engineer on our team is lovely. Anatolii (mobile dev), Stanislav (Stas, frontend dev) and Lilia care so much about our business. They bring ideas and inspiration to our projects. And deliver high quality work. Despite being international- there are no language barriers with the team. Even when discussing some complex topics. Communication across the board is excellent.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our measure of success is utilization at our centers. Prior to the app, we were typically operating at 50-60% utilization. With the app we are exceeding our business targets at 85% utilization. This is a pretty specific metric to our business, but the moral of the story is that the app is what is driving our business's profitability (and yes, we are profitable!). Without the app, we could not make this complicated and dynamic business work.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The WLCM team sets the bar for project management and communication. They provide so much transparency into the project. They communicate regularly and proactively. They are also incredibly responsive. In the very few times that there have been issues or delays, they are highly engaged and proactive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
WLCM's design focus is so unique. Our app is not just functional, but beautiful. We wanted to create a truly special, branded customer experience and WLCM delivered. They care as much about design as they do function. Our app is fun, simple, and so Brella! We get compliments from our families daily on how great our mobile app is.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No! I know that is probably hard to believe, but WLCM has been more than just a developer. They believe in our business, care about our success, and invest their heart and soul into our projects. I've honestly never had an agency relationship like this. My investors beg me to bring technology in house, but I don't want or need to. I have everything I need- trust, capability, responsibility, and passion in WLCM. I couldn't as for anything more.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the deputy director of West Virginia Perinatal Partnership, a state-wide nonprofit organization that works on improving health outcomes for mothers and infants in the state of West Virginia.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with WLCM App Studio?
I direct a project for pregnant women with substance use disorder, and we wanted to develop a resource for folks working with this population. We were looking to develop an app or some other type of resource that providers and others working in the field could use to help those women.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
At first, we weren’t quite sure what kind of format or platform we wanted to use to address our problem. After an initial conversation with WLCM App Studio, they suggested building a web-based application and helped us think through how it could work. They asked a lot of questions about who we were trying to reach, how we were planning on doing that, and what kinds of information and resources we would be providing. They guided us through the kinds of information they needed from us.
WLCM App Studio then started working on building the web app from scratch. We provided all the resources that we needed to be included in the app, and they did all the design and development. They even brought in a graphic designer to do the logo. They implemented a feature that allowed users to print a care plan straight from the app, which they could have accessible for themselves, their staff, and even their patients, if appropriate.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked directly with Lindsey (Founder & CEO) and another person from WLCM App Studio.
How did you come to work with WLCM App Studio?
We found WLCM App Studio through an app they had built for women looking for breastfeeding resources.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent somewhere around $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We're still finalizing the project, so we don't have any metrics yet. But I’d definitely say that the app’s very easy to use, and it's an elegant display of how the information is provided.
How did WLCM App Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
WLCM App Studio has performed well in terms of project management. They've been very upfront and communicative. If things are taking a little bit longer, they’re diligent about letting us know. They also always get back to us within the time period they say they will.
We typically communicate through email, Google Meet, Zoom, and Google Docs.
What did you find most impressive about them?
WLCM App Studio genuinely believes in the mission of our organization and wants to help us reach our goal. I feel very much respected, and I believe they understand what we’re trying to do and why we’re trying to do it. I’m very comfortable working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to communicate well with them to ensure that you understand how to take advantage of what they’re providing.
