Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of HealthSocho, a recommendation platform for alternative medicine—homeopathy, Unani, food supplements, etc. We make recommendations based on what the symptoms and ailments are, then users can purchase those products from our market.
What challenge were you trying to address with WireCamp?
One of the key challenges we were trying to address was on the user journey. Our mission was to inform users about symptoms and ailments, while providing them with content, along with access to products. We weren’t able to decide on how effectively we could showcase content and products in the same window. This was the main problem we went to WireCamp for.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We went to WireCamp after we had a semblance of an idea of what it was that we wanted, and they built our web platform from the ground up.
Before the development process, we were involved in programs with them to understand how the consumer would use the platform. Based on this information, we came up with wireframes, went back to the user, and checked them. We started development after that.
One of the key functionalities of the platform is the mapping of products and content based on treatments. The technologies used include the Aerospike database and Java Spring Data Elasticsearch. They haven’t developed mobile versions.
What is the team composition?
There were four people assigned to our team: one full-stack and one backend developer, and two project managers. We worked mainly with the project managers, but we met with the entire team during sprint sessions.
How did you come to work with WireCamp?
They were recommended by a close friend, who’d worked with WireCamp on the development of another platform. We shortlisted quite a few other vendors, but we realized when we met WireCamp that they would fully own the project, and not just act as another agency. I keep them in high regard on that front.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent in the range of $35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from October 2016–February 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They have a strong project management approach, with which they’re able to match the timelines with the plans. This is a key highpoint when it comes to the work I’ve done with them.
They brought a lot of energy and a lot of expertise, in terms of development, along with problem-solving abilities. They can see the larger aspects of what a problem is.
How did WireCamp perform from a project management standpoint?
They were absolutely brilliant, able to give us complete details as to what the schedule was, what the sprints were, and when we would receive a product. Everything was managed beautifully.
We used Trello and Slack for communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their team and their ability to deliver on time are the most impressive things about them. The promises they make are what they actually deliver; rather than over-promising and under-delivering.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I could mention right now.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
The project management aspect is important, namely ensuring that the vendor is able to deliver what they promised. Typically, agencies will over-commit on things in order to get business, without being able to match the timelines.

"I was very happy with their innovative solutions and their efficiency."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for a firm that provides and manages outdoor football facilities for people in our city.
What challenge were you trying to address with WireCamp Interactive LLP?
We wanted a user-friendly mobile app that enabled people to easily and quickly book a field.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we initially reached out to WireCamp Interactive for app development, we knew the general design we wanted, that we needed the app to work across Android and iOS platforms, and the app’s necessary functions. Users needed to be able to use the app to book either the entire field or half of it, for specific times, which meant they needed to see scheduling and availability. After we went over the requirements, they made additional suggestions, including developing a website.
At the end of the three-month timeline I gave them, they helped us submit the apps to Google Play and the App Store. I was very happy with their innovative solutions and their efficiency.
What is the team composition?
Our main point of contact was the project manager, who had a team of two or three developers working under him.
How did you come to work with WireCamp Interactive LLP?
A friend recommended them initially. After meeting with them over Skype, I was impressed with their professionalism, how well they understood the scope, and their helpful solutions.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $27,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in March 2018, and the app launched in June 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve received positive user feedback saying that the interface is easy to use, which was our main goal. They gave us extremely high-quality work and were transparent and responsive in their communication.
How did WireCamp Interactive LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
Most of our communication was over phone or Skype. We wanted to keep the project and project management relatively simple since we had such a tight timeline, so we really tracked our progress with regular Skype meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were extremely communicative—it never took them long to get back to us—and they had helpful suggestions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have no complaints. The only way the project could have gone more smoothly is if they had an office in our city.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My only advice would be to work with them. I was really happy with their work.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of IT at a charity organization. We run a few educational institutions as well as guest houses to accommodate many visitors. One large facility is divided into multiple units.
What challenge were you trying to address with WireCamp Interactive LLP?
We wanted to create an online booking system for the 2,500 rooms we have available to host guests.
What was the scope of their involvement?
WireCamp Interactive developed our online room booking system using the web platform CouchDB. They crafted wireframes and every facet of the demo based on a thorough understanding of our requirements. Development progressed step-by-step throughout multiple stages. We didn’t encounter a single problem. In addition, they developed a website for our guesthouse. It includes several features, most notably a dashboard. We’ve designed a few sites for our company, as well.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a total of five people from WireCamp Interactive, including two developers. Krishna (Senior Software Engineer, WireCamp Interactive) was our project manager.
How did you come to work with WireCamp Interactive LLP?
We found WireCamp Interactive through a referral. We chose them over other providers we considered.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $10,000-$49,999 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from November 2016–June 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website is incredibly responsive. Our users are happy and have given us positive feedback. There haven’t been any bugs or functional issues. If we found anything, the team could easily fix it. Our company has booked 5,000 reservations through the website in the past two months. We’ve noticed that most of our guests book our rooms through mobile devices.
How did WireCamp Interactive LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
We used Slack to communicate. WireCamp Interactive made it easy to track all of the phases of the project. After completing one stage, they’d move on seamlessly into the next step.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m really pleased that WireCamp Interactive has been using the latest technology available for our purposes. The design is incredibly unique and looks excellent. No matter the number of modifications we request, they’re always ready and willing to work
The project was completed successfully, with the team demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, project management, and energy levels. They particularly excelled at adhering to timelines and workflow estimates, ensuring all work was delivered promptly.
