BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder of Coworking Spain. Our platform that links coworkers, freelancers, and companies with available coworking office spaces to work. Our annual conference, Coworking Spain Conference, focuses on relevant matters within the coworking industry.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Wild Wild Web?

We hired Wild Wild Web for web design and development services for two of our websites. We also requested print design for our annual conference’s promotional poster. Lastly, we engaged the team for design and development for all seven editions of the conference publication we release each year.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to create user-friendly web experiences and modern design pieces to promote the Coworking Spain Conference.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I liked the previous work they’d done, so I quickly hired them.

Describe the project in detail.

After we explained our project to their team, Wild Wild Web thoughtfully crafted a select number of assets that were best suited to our needs. They designed an exclusive poster for our annual conference, along with materials for each one from the past seven years. The team also provided web development for our organization’s main page, CoworkingSpain.es, as well as the site specifically for our conference.

What was the team composition?

When we started working with Wild Wild Web, their team was very small. At that point, we worked directly with the founders. Since they’ve grown, they’ve expanded their service offerings and have hired a strong team of experts who specialize in each field.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Wild Wild Web designed an excellent array of design options to choose from, which made our engagement effortless. Our assistant has been eagerly waiting to see the new conference poster's design all year.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our partnership with Wild Wild Web was easy, simple and effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I most appreciated the quality of the work they delivered. They dedicate their passion to each project they do. Wild Wild Web’s response times are quite rapid. They truly take care of customer relations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Expanding their commercial area a bit more would help.

Feedback summary:

In six months, the new website has generated a 47% increase in users, a 48% increase in page visits, a 60% increase in sessions, and an increase in overall traffic. Wild Wild Web had a clear understanding of the business and the project and maintained excellent communication.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am in charge of the online marketing for Calamo & Cran. It’s a school, editorial services and translation company that offers formation of producers and correctors, and editing professionals in general.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wild Wild Web?

We had a very outdated website. It was very archaic in general and it had been around 7 years already. Things have been changing considerably and I wanted to offer a more modern and appropriate image, and at the same time more in line with Google’s requirements. It wasn’t mobile responsive so that was a challenge.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had Cesar and 3 other developers assigned to the project. They treated us very well and closely. They proposed an image change that we didn’t want in a first instance, but we got to a middle ground that I believe has resulted very well for us. Later, when they started to develop the site, we could add any changes that we wanted because all the possibilities were done through an online tool. We are honestly very happy.

SOLUTION

How did you come to work with Wild Wild Web?

I believe we met through a project that they did for Porsche. We asked for a budget and at the end we liked their level of price, service, and web aesthetics.

How much have you invested with Wild Wild Web?

I would not be able to share this because they offered the possibility of paying in small increments.

What is the status of this engagement?

We continue working and touching base here and there.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

In reality, the traffic has increased in 6 months and the number of sessions has increased around 60%, users a 47% and the number of visits to the page is 48%, less pages per session but its probably because we have an integrated blog. The duration of the media session has decreased a little to 11.86%. Our rebound has decreased a little, an 8.53% and that’s it.

How did Wild Wild Web perform from a project management standpoint?

We had some meetings and later when we entered the testing phase in which we had to upload the content. The communication was done through an online tool... I can’t remember its name, but the communication is done as a typical ticket: I submit something that needs to be changed, the person does it, checks the task as done, and if there are any doubts, I get an email.

What did you find most impressive about Wild Wild Web?

I think they understood the project very well, so they have been able to put themselves in our shoes and we’ve maintained good communications. They understood the business, the idea we wanted, the capacity that we have and from there, they have done what I believe is a good work actually.

Are there any areas Wild Wild Web could improve?

We’re very happy with them so I would not be able to say anything negative because nothing negative happened. The professional aspect of course, but at a personal level, it is also a good relationship so we’re very happy.
