I manage data integration and data warehouse division. My role is to get the projects executed involving ETL
For what projects/services did your company hire Wi4, and what were your goals?
Our client required Integration with Epic on their engagement platform. The workflow were complex with CCDA and FHIR interfacing and multilayer updates in the software. The integration needed to be real time and bidirectional
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We wanted to have an organization have Epic integration experience. Wi4 become default choice because of healthcare and data etl background
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
There were over million records to be integrated both ways. The deliverable was to build a real time bridge and data transformation rule engine
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We hired 3 talend and one epic domain expert from Wi4
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The project was done in a record time as the client's Covid vaccination rollout was based on this integration.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
It was a close collaboration of various teams with daily standups in design thinking based agile model
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We required top notch quality and speed. This combination was very difficult to get. Wi4 impressed us with their quality of delivery. They understood the domain and sensitivities of the project. The also ensured privacy and compliances at their end.

We are very impressed. Can not think of any suggestions as of now.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am head of non profit that work extensively with parents and kids. We work in the areas of child sexual abuse, expanding horizon and building structures for happy parenting
For what projects/services did your company hire Wi4, and what were your goals?
We were loosing lot of clients as the prospects use to go out of the website. We wanted a system to engage them and convert visitors to prospects and clients.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We wanted to hire someone who has worked with not for profits and social projects. A usual IT company will not fit our bill. We wanted our vendor to understand the sensitivities and consult us. We are not good in technology and wanted a lot of help from IT company to handhold us. Wi4 fitted the bill immediately as they only work on social IT projects. They understood our needs and took a design and consulting led approach.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We needed an intelligent contextual chat bot system to engage the visitors and fix up appointments with our counselors. We also needed to have backend tools to manage all the visitors and integrate phone, email, sms channel of communication. I think they used react, node, twilio and mongodb in technologies. Honestly it does not matter which technologies they used, our system works well!
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
They had a team of 7 and we had deputed 3 members from our side
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our conversions have more than doubled and it is only 2 months since we went live. We have all the data in one location. We also have every engagement point in a singular location which is a big relief!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I don't know which tools they used. They kept us informed and engaged us in every step. They took multiple steps to ensure that my staff members are participating in the development process and nothing is coming to them as surprise. This ensured speedy delivery and quick adoption by my team members.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I think the most impressive part was their immense flexibility. We are a technological illiterate company. We only had sketchy ideas. They helped us to build upon ideas and converted our vision to a reality. The final product was much better than we originally thought. It has great interfaces, usability, and functionality. We love it. We love their flexibility. Not a single time did they come back to tell us about what's in the scope.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Onsite team and face to face discussions could be very helpful!

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Sr. Program Manager of large software and product multinational organization
For what projects/services did your company hire Wi4, and what were your goals?
Our client was losing millions of dollars in lost inventory. They are one of the largest providers of surgical trays the world over. Their trays are with doctors, hospitals, and salespeople distributed worldwide.
They wanted to build a real-time surgical tray tracking solution. The challenge was that no such solution existed and any tracker that gets installed to trays will melt due to high temperature during the sterilization process.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were referred to them by our board member as someone who can handle complex problems. Their track record was great. The unique thing was that they had tons of research experience. Our problem was unsolved so far and it needed hardcore research on materials and a new way of a tracking system. We choose them over big boys as we wanted a smart nimble team
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The repository was in AWS. The entire solution was on serverless technologies.
Key deliverables were:
- IOT Platform capable of tracking 3 million-plus objects
- Data warehouse to store humungous data points and real-time analytics dashboard
- AI-based trend analysis for loss prevention and detection systems
- Mobile Apps BLE tracker for surgical trays
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
3 different teams worked on different parts of the project
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Their capabilities of solving issues and problems were outstanding. There were many many roadblocks but their people were able to solve them. I have done so many product developments so far but rarely come across the team which gets a check box for usability, research, technology, timeline, and budget. I Will work with them again
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Our main communication platform was slack. The project was delivered 50 days before the delivery timeline. One of the best parts was their automated QC processes and continuous delivery mechanisms.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We had many difficult moments in terms of stakeholder expectation management however they showed high EQ and empathy. They patiently listened to our new demands but always were able to convince us of the importance of keeping the timeline and scope managed
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, We love them

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am VP of Engineering with a multi national software development organization
For what projects/services did your company hire Wi4, and what were your goals?
Our client wanted to integrate multiple health care systems. The requirement was to meet HIPAA compliance and data integrity. Real time integration on AWS cloud was required.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were looking for someone who has healthcare, social project experience in IT. We did not wanted to hire a "we can do all" kind of shop. In our multiple round of interview, Wi4 team came out as domain experts. They even had health care professionals who came for specific parts of the project. With right pricing, aggressive timeline, selecting Wi4 was not a brainer.

They designed the front end in React and backend on AWS amplify. The communication layer was a combination of graphQL, Mirth Connect for HL7. The choice of DB was MongoDB

There were 6 people involved including a project manger, 3 developers, 1 UI/UX engineer and 1 quality control engineer

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The timeline and budget were met by them. We were impressed with the detailed communication, meeting notes and release note system
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their honesty! They saved us money despite us having budget. They were honest about the amount of work required and billed us lower than our budget.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think they need to improve their continuous integration skills.
